    Recently realized that my roster of 35 or so 4* champs is good enough to handle scl9.  Since I typically do well in venom bomb, took the plunge and managed top 50 for 2 Chavez covers.
    As an aside, I'm having way more fun playing scl9 the last few events vs scl7, definitely takes a bit longer though.

    Congrats. It's a nice feeling. I've had mixed results with her in Shield Training. Either she gets totally destroyed by Hulk or she obliterates the enemy team pretty much all by herself.

    She's not an I Win button or anything, but definitely fun. Especially against goons where it's easy to stock up more AP than them. Crit tiles every Turn. I'm thinking she'll be pretty awesome when you go in with full AP boosts, and barring a cascade, you'll have more AP in 5 colours right from the start.

    I finished top 10 in Venom Bomb in SCL7 despite starting my final clears 20 minutes early. I figured top 20 was doable, but having started the day 13th AND doing clears too early, no way did I think I was gonna get top 10. Ended up sneaking in by 31 points.

    Getting to Shield Rank 114 by respec-ing my 1-star Spidey, and using the ISO to champ Spider Gwen and use the cover from the previous event.  The LT gave me my first Blue Nico cover, putting her at 1/2/3

    Beat the clock on Daredevil thanks to an alliance mate's largesse. Now I just gotta save up the Iso.

    Gambit is hot on his heels, at 3/3/5, so I feel reasonably good about my chances of completing him before he leaves, as well.

    I champed Invisible Woman today, the last of the Classic 4*s to hit 270, after a couple of months of ignoring pretty much everything else.
    Over the last year, champing them all had started to appear like a sisyphean task, so I knuckled down, wiped out most of my 3* max champs in the process, and I have a number of 2*s with 2 or 3 versions stuck at 15. But now, once I champ Rogue, I'll be left with the Duck, the Dino, Nico, MEH and Chavez to go in the 4* realm. Once I've sorted out the mess of the 2* and 3* farms, I live in hope that I will reach the hallowed state of Iso in the bank.

    Man, that's exactly right. I'm up to like 37 or 38 champs, but I've got about a dozen either fully covered or soon-to-be fully covered 4*s at various levels just sitting there because I don't have nearly enough ISO for all of them. And it's starting to feel rather tedious being constantly out of ISO.

    I've only got three maxed 3*s at this point, and of those only one of the dupes is champed, but I'm close on the other two. I'm really hoping to avoid selling them, but we'll see.

    It's early, but I was doing my 5th clear of the first sub of EotS. Playing the 5* essential node with Medusa and G4mora. I took out one Kishu, then hit the second one with Matt's stun. That flipped a shield tile they had out from Smoke Bomb and G4mora added another purple special. I fired her black.

    My turn finished off the Kishu, leaving a full-health Konran. Their turn saw a Black Arts tile resolving, but having no effect since the Konran was out of teammates and already at full health. My turn: Deadliest Woman passive procs, taking down the full-health Konran (nearly 89K health in SCL 9 at Level 515) in one shot. I hadn't even realized I'd covered all the purple tiles and no new ones had dropped in.

    It has been a good day. Pulled 2 Gladiator and then scored a bonus Moon Knight black from another pull - that let me champ him. I am especially happy as he had been an expirement  in 4* bonus heroes and unvaulting - I started 0/3/0 on the day vaulting ended and have champed him in what feels like a very decent timeframe. Gonna have fun using him! Happy New Year!

    I also decided to pull my mini-hoard this morning, trying to get as many champ levels for my Daredevil before he heads for Classics. I also thought I could get Nico to 10 covers to finish out the top portion of SHIELD Training and get an extra cover for America. I made Nico my sole 4* BH and started pulling. 

    The Nico thing didn't work out, but I'm mostly happy with what ended up being 90 pulls. I got four covers for each of the 5*s. Daredevil ended at 462, Gambit at 1/3/6 (from 1/1/4; probably will swap for another red) and Thor went to 0/1/4 (from 0/1/0). Yes, all my Thor pulls were yellow. I would have liked at least one green cover RNGesus, but whatevs. It would have also been nice to get one or two more 5* covers overall (or a BH), which would have gotten me closer to the 15 percent range.

    Other than getting hardly any Nico covers (and only one 4* BH), I had some petty fruitful 4* pulls. I ended up fully covering Elektra, Star-Lord, Drax, Miles, Quake, and Kate Bishop. I was close on three of those anyways (Elektra's coming in the Daily Resupply in six days, 3* Star-Lord was two covers away from the cover I needed for the 4* version, and Quake's is progression in PvP soon), but it does feel nice getting them locked up regardless. There are now 13 members in my 13 Cover Club. 

    I'm probably gonna have to sacrifice a lot of 2*s and my three max champed 3*s if I want to avoid wasting some covers though. And even then, I'm probably going to have to turf some extra 4* covers, but I knew that going in, so I'm mostly OK with it.

    Pulled the LT from the PVE vault and finally got my first yellow Mockingbird for what was a 4/0/4.  It's the little things sometimes...

    Breaking shield with 4 minutes to go in the Chavez event, and managing to hit no less than 3 wins to take me over 1200 points.  Inconceivable!

    3rd win was necessary due to a miscalculation on my part...
