I guess I could go for the Thor covers, since I restarted him. he is looking real tough at lvl 7. It's pretty boring stuff though. Not worth facing 2 days of lvl 100+ Patch with Hulk and Spidey Combos.
That's ok though, right?
I've only got a 1/2/1 Spidey, so if some of the big dogs aren't interested in this one, it gives the rest of us a chance to catch up a little bit. There needs to be a mix of tournaments that propel you forward, but occasionally give me a chance to narrow that gap.0 -

Welcome to the joys of a high MMR - when tanking was full strength you could go whole tourneys without seeing forum members in your queue (just hit me as sad how we feel compelled to call it a skip queue instead of a fight queue; very instructive). Add to that the growth in forum community population, and it's getting harder and harder to be polite to your fellow forum-goers.
That's probably for the best anyways - I'll still hold off on hitting a forum-goer if I think they're about to cross a prog threshold or the like, but for all forumites to just avoid all other forumites is a little bit too much like collusion for my comfort. I guess I'm saying that we should punch each other in the mouth more often. I think it's beginning to happen naturally - ranking points are too precious and too hard to come by now.
Lol. You're right. In my defense, I'll hit ONCE and move on. If it's a name I don't recognize, I pull the patented JacobPC. Not as quickly as him though!0 -

The only issue with the current system that I am seeing in terms of access to covers is, they flood the market for 2 weeks or so with the new character then you have to hope that you can randomly win one from a token. This tends to lead to the try-hards/hardcores/PTWs having maxed out new guys while the rest of us have guys that are pretty much unplayable. I also think the casual players should have access to 4*s outside of PTW.0 -

Happens rarely, but when it does, you can do some serious damage. I was sitting in 2nd towards the end of Thor tourney and first place team showed up on my radar as I was desperately cycling to find worthwhile opponents. I was 30 pts back. Waited for him to unshield, then whacked him for 27, a -54 pt swing for the win.0 -

How many battles do you need to tank before you skyrocket to low MMR if there is a thing like it now.
I tanked bw and Logan lightning round and I still face max 2* and high level 3* teams.
I know Sockid can walk around the system, he just finished the no bars hold PvP with 918 point and only used 1 shield.
I am wondering how would he not getting retaliated? How come I can never find him? He even scored top on a few lightning round. I don't know how the MMR work, I am so confused lol.0 -

I don't know the exact details, but I can say that I have tanked 6 lightning rounds and I'm facing low level opponents in BTI. BUT they aren't worth any points once you pass the 600 threshold. It's a double-edged sword in certain situations.0 -
Ugh kinda early for me to join a bracket but my MMR is high for LR right now and I obviously don't want to play Heroic Mode for ISO.

Anyone see me in there bracket? Just curious. While at work today I grinded to 300 points and shielded...Last time I played this event I got close to 300 and was knocked back down to 198...Didn't want to risk it today. Hopefully I can grind another 300 tonight, shield over night, and try to maintain a top 15 finish. I need that 5th blue cover for Peter Parker.0

They do have access. I have a 1/1/1 X force wolverine that I have pulled all through standard/heroic tokens. Of course it takes time if you are unwillling to pay, but that's the tradeoff of a free game.
Of the last 3 characters released, You either love or hate Patch. Ares and Daredevil generally don't make it into teams unless they are event specific. So most of that time the non "try-hards/hardcores/PTWs' could catch up with their rosters. Of course if you are not a try-hard (what does that even mean), hardcore or a PTW then I don;t know what you are doing that you think you deserve a top tier team. You're not paying (PTW), playing a lot (Hardcore) or somethinging (try-hard), so I am not sure what avenue you expect to get covers from. Daily rewards?0 -
But what about the incoming nerfage? I will try to place at least top 45 myself, top 15 seems both unreachable and I am totally unsure about a 4th blue cover. Who knows what comes to Spidey's blue?
