Are you seriously releasing 3 new characters in a row? Are you blind, deaf, ignorant, spiteful, or malicious?

Or they may need release some new-story-relevant characters. Hopefully at least Kingpin will not be essential.

Its a shame locked tiles are discriminative btw

How does the swap work with 4 tiles? Unless you guarantee which tiles are swapped with each other (1st and 2nd selected swap, 3rd and 4th swap), it seems like it would be better to only have a 2 tile swap.

Question: It seems like the minimum cost for Black and Green is actually 6 AP, since if there are 4 Locked tiles they will explode. Or perhaps it should read that there need to be more than 4 Locked tiles?

I believe that's how bagman functions, you can do a battle with him to test

Correct, selections 1 and 2 swap, selections 3 and 4 swap.

Blue seems a bit overpowered as a passive. At least Doom Purple require an active trigger. Think how much strike tiles are generated by Daken when you match green. This is automatic AOE damage. And when you can swap two pairs to potentially add two locked team tiles. So you get a free AOE when you launch Black.

The 5th tile that would be created will trigger the explosion since there are at least 4 at that point. A 5th tile never actually gets created. So 4 tiles on the board without a 5th Blue match means the abilities cost 5 each.

I unfortunately had to sell my Bagman during the Great Character Rush of October 2014, as my HP could not keep up with the hastened release schedule.

It may check the number on activation, not after the new tile appears. Ambiguous wording ho!

The blue passive ability needs to be activated when there are 4 locked tiles already on the board to make them explode, at least that's the way I read it. So once you activate it to set the 4th tile you'd have to activate it again to blow them up.

      Nah, its casual/underpowered.

Needs 5 blue match to activate detonation (not counting additional locked tile match-unlocking )

Update - Bit of a change and hence the removal of the dev note (see what I said about pre-release?): This character's abilities *will* now work with other Locked tiles, so Invisible Woman? Force Bubble away!
    • Is that "all locked tiles shatter, deal 2k" or "all locked tiles shatter, deal 2k for each"?

They're just trying to buff Rags and MnM . . .

2K overall, plus cascades and the like as a result. 8K for a passive from a 3* character is probably a bit much.

I whine a bit more then.
Its a shame there is a minimum AP cost! Hard limit should be 1! Also applies to Psylocke, etc!
Otherwise this gets-cheaper abilities feel like casual powers, with additional nerf at beginning, as it has high default cost.
