Would increase my enjoyment and might reduce people's need to grind incessantly as they might not be able to if bad guys went to say lvl 350 or 400. I cant imagine most casual players sticking thru 5 more days of this if they cant beat the 2nd level of a subbracket.
Most of the guys with this problem are guys who have cleared every mission at least 6 times (twice every refresh). Your average newbie isn't going to be doing that anyway. They do seem to go down in difficulty over time as well.
I haven't entered a sub bracket but the first fight is level 150 for me. I cleared everything 6 times last sub bracket and I retreated about 30 times. It feels weird to keep on sending guys to their doom but I find the end result to be acceptable. On one hand it's not like I'm getting super easy mode but on the other hand retreating 30 times at least makes the initial stuff look fairly winnable without worrying about boosts. Now I'm sure they'll quickly go up again in levels, but I'll worry about that later.0 -

Just checked and I can confirm it dropped.0 -

Yeah good catch. Apparently we're much worse than the developers thought we'd be...0 -
My enemy levels are dropping without me doing anything. I'm assuming this is because my rank in the main bracket is falling.0

Woo hoo!
Thanks for sharing the good news, guys.0 -

If a casual player plays once per round, they might not see any increase in levels. Those of us who play all 4 rounds will see much more difficult opponents. We'll have more points.0 -

Yeah this isn't too much of a problem for casuals. I think the devs just hate people who like their game. Lol j/k
I'm perfectly fine with having a few 230 repeatables.
10 days straight of 230's..... I'm typically pretty crazy but..... Time to find out who's crazier because that's a hell of a lot more effort than I'm willing to put towards anything.0 -
I like what the devs have attempted with the scaling. Those of us who dominated their first sub gaze in horror at the second sub.
A new player who placed nowhere in the first sub because it was too hard may now have an easy second sub.
It's just the scaling was too quick. Hopefully they learn from this and strike a better balance.0 -

Or just a slight increase. I only played the first sub once (each mission twice, about 10 or so 1 pointers), started 2 hours before it ended (I know now I should have done 1 hour). The highest enemy levels I saw were in the 70s (maybe 80s but I don't think so).
At the close of the first sub this put me at around 45 in the main bracket (with you and psyko).
Not great but I obviously can't complain.0 -
Eh, I think my event is bugged now.
I can replay the first mission in the main event. It doesn't give any points though. And the second subevent has Lv15 enemies, and only 1* covers as rewards.0 -

Yeah, that happened to me once, too. *shrug*0 -

They may be reworking the code is too many people complained about the difficulty. .lets see.0 -

Happened to me as well yesterday in the first sub bracket, reverted after about 15 minutes. The main bracket was even repeatable with the lvl 1 covers, didn't want to mess with anything so I just logged out for a bit.
Haven't joined the 2nd sub, not sure if I like what I will see when I do. May just take a hit and lose if they cant adjust the difficulty. 230 teams are not sustainable financially or healthpacks wise.0 -

Doubtful. It's Saturday. Whatever miserable situations we get stuck in are probably inescapable for at least 2 days. Probably about the same time frame for any feedback / statements from the dev team.0 -
I did one of the bugged missions and got 70 points for it. The second person in my bracket has 15... I'll quit before I get penalized for cheating. This event is really turning out quite frustrating.0

It's not bugged for me so that I being said I don't think you're cheating if you take advantage.
If you didn't happen to be on this forum you'd have no idea it's different for anyone else.0 -
I was able to clear 230 teams without using health packs with a wolvie/widow/spidey team. I cant see these missions as doable without the 2ap spidey stun though, as thats whats been heavily carrying me through these missions.0

Definitely disappointing that ISO-8 is so much harder to come by in this event. Punisher needs food!0

My experience with lowering the difficulty. ...
Entering and leaving =useless
Enter compete get killed = success0 -
Bout to start on events and/or nap. Lol
Figured if drop a tad more info first.
I've let #1 overtake me by 200-300 points.
I have done 2 retreats and 2 full loss matches. My enemy is still lvl 230 and points have went only from 17-180
