I wonder why the developers have been so quiet. Not even a News and Announcements post.0

I saw your point total and was thinking there's almost no way you could've grinded about 50 missions to pass up TheReck with such a short time left. Did the missions just refresh in the final hour? Since I don't plan on waking up early I'm just going to wait until around 22h left and that should get me in a bracket where nobody can possibly do 4 refreshes.
It was a pretty close call. My big missions refreshed about 40 minutes before the end. I had a few missions full before then (since I only did the top 4 missions on my 3rd refresh) to keep me busy while anxiously waiting. I was able to get all of the missions down to 1 point on the 4th refresh, with exactly 1 minute to spare.
Though I didn't need about 100 of those points for my sub-bracket...
(And there's no way I'm doing it again if all of my mission are lvl230s.)0 -

Now Thick at Thieves has ruined the event experience too.
I won 100 iso in the first round completion, and now i can't play anymore as thugs are way too powerful (lvl 100+) and for only 10 or 12 points...
Better play another game, at least one with decent gameplay and enjoyment, two things this one lacks of more & more.
Makes me feel like this game is only made for those that already have high level everything.Bugpop wrote:I wonder why the developers have been so quiet. Not even a News and Announcements post.0 -
Is it just me or is everyone finishing first in their bracket. Who are the 2000 other players in people's bracket? Is it possible devs add bots to each brackets so people feel like they are ahead and winning things? Like a marketing strategy... /conspiracy0

Each bracket is only 200 people.0

I still haven't joined. Maybe I'll wait another hour and do it.0

People probably only post about the good news. You can always get lucky too. Some of the score people won a sub bracket would barely place #5 on my bracket. I sure didn't get first (finished 3rd).0

holy shyt.... 5 sub mission with all AI character lv230... rofl
Guess i really need to be careful with the matching especially Ares =3=
as for me i really need to use spidey to by pass all 5 round... perhaps with a bit boost0 -

"Everyone" here on the boards, maybe. The thousands of others are casual and probably only play a few days or weeks before moving on. It just looks like everyone is winning because everyone here places well.0 -

I think it is a combination of...
1. People on here play more on average
2. People on here share information on resets, rubber bands etc
3. People on here probably have decent cover sets.
I know I would be nowhere without the Hood, Spidey, OBW and the Patch covers I acquired in the pvp events.0 -

The really hard missions aren't affected much, but the introductory missions should get knocked down to a sane level pretty fast. Of course they'll quickly climb back up after you start beating them.
For a point of reference, I retreated about 30 times and the mission that requires you to use Thor went from 230X3 to 120X3. The final mission was still 230X3 I believe, so don't count on that bailing you out of the hard missions. Keep in mind your roster will surely be depleted rather quickly, so it's almost a type of grinding in itself.0 -

Norman Osbourne got the power he has now in the Dark Reign stuff because of Deadpool.
Judging by how many people ask for him on the forums and the fact that he already had his own Dark Reign comic, he should show up eventually.0 -
This might have been mentioned already (I didn't read every page of this thread): If a team member dies during a fight but you still end up winning, the enemy levels will still go down for the next fight. I can go in with Super Patch and two punching bags, have the bags die, OCV (one character victory) with Patch and have an easier fight next time.0

Its been 54 minutes and my first mission has gone from 10 pts to 17pts. Wonder where it maxes out at.0

They don't always go down in level from retreating. During my mass retreat campaign, it's well over half of the retreats resulted in no change on the mission I was looking at. On average, I need 4 retreats (enough to down a person) to see a change in level, and even that is not always certain.0 -
PVE used to be the good way to build an iso reserve to level your characters.
This high level PVE makes that not anywhere near feasible anymore. I feel like this is going to choke higher level players pretty badly who are more iso constrained than people who are starting out.
Plus at the rate they are introducing characters, you are really going to have to pick and choose favorite characters.0 -
Its just too bad they couldn't program optional difficulty levels and give points accordingly. Let a newbie play the lvl 18 maggia so they can progress but give them 10 pts but if I want to tackle 120 maggia to start give me a few more pts. Would increase my enjoyment and might reduce people's need to grind incessantly as they might not be able to if bad guys went to say lvl 350 or 400. I cant imagine most casual players sticking thru 5 more days of this if they cant beat the 2nd level of a subbracket.0

Might have been mentioned else where but is everyone seeing that the target score dropped from 450,000,000 to 70,000,000?0

First in my sub bracket. Unfortunately, only top 20 in my main bracket, and unlikely to keep up =(.0
