With Nemek, Bucky, and Phantron all in my main, I'm happy just to be in the Top 10. Charged into 1st in my sub in the last 15 min. It was a tight squeeze - almost all nodes were down to 1 pt.

I'm getting through all missions (have been at 230/230/230 since I ground the first set so much) without boosts using spidey, original widow, and level 15 patch. Sometimes I sub my xforce during easier ones and gsbw if I have too. Still, no boosts and maybe 4 total packs used so far

I've been using hood instead of widow. As long as there are enough blue tiles on the board the maggia feed spiders stuns and heals.
  • It definitely appears that the level of "buffedness" of each fight is carrying over from Day 1 to Day 2.

So, if "Family Reunion I" ended with the goons buffed to level 150, then "Anderson Bio-Technic I" starts at level 150 as well.

I thought I saw some minor form of cooldown happening during the last few minutes of my push at the end of the round, but that quickly got wiped off the board during the push.

For those of us that can't grind out 200+ missions with ease, we are stuck waiting 18+ hours for a natural cooldown to even start the next round?
  • I don't mind the raising difficulty, but max level for all stages is a tiny little bit stressful now...

Seriously lvl 230 at the start of next sub event? This better be a glitch or the devs is trying to punish players that grind for points.

Im so praying for bug... and that its fixed soon :/
  • ouch the carrying over level concept hits hard on the boosts stock
  • And the confirmation came. #1 in 1st sub. I don't know what I am most happy about. The covers or the 2000 ISO. I was completely dry with only 400 ISO banked.

Oh, and the starting match for sub 2 is 155-156 for me. I don't even know if trying to do 4 runs is optimal at this point. Obviously, in the first someone will get too few points (11 for me as we speak) and it will quite possibly increase the level of all matches. So by the time I try to do the 4th run everyone will be 230 lv. Better stay to what we know. 3 runs and a prayer will do.
  • If you need to lower the difficulty level, just start retreating every fight with every person you can possibly dig up. The really hard missions aren't affected much, but the introductory missions should get knocked down to a sane level pretty fast. Of course they'll quickly climb back up after you start beating them.

For a point of reference, I retreated about 30 times and the mission that requires you to use Thor went from 230X3 to 120X3. The final mission was still 230X3 I believe, so don't count on that bailing you out of the hard missions. Keep in mind your roster will surely be depleted rather quickly, so it's almost a type of grinding in itself.
  • I apparently got knocked out of the top 1 spot in the last one in the last 20 minutes... but I got the yellow cover? I thought one of the other covers was the prize for top 5 in family reunion?

Didn't work for me. Retreated 3 times and no match changed level in the sub that ended.

    EDIT:

Just read that. Wow, so many times? I may try it then. Did you notice a change from the first time you retreated?

Green was only for top 1. Red and yellow for top 2. Yellow for 3-5.
  • I'm going to wait a while and see what happens with the Levels.
  • Something is really wrong with these difficulty levels. Introduction with 3 >120 goons? Seriously? And I have to fight using this ***Wolv at level 18 to beat that? Dafuq is wrong in here?

But wait a minute...didn't you have to burn 10 health packs reviving Thor? You can't start the match if Thor is dead, can you?
  • One retreat and they dropped from 201 => 176, phew icon_e_smile.gif

Green was only for top 1. Red and yellow for top 2. Yellow for 3-5.
Oh, I guess I misread the thing. Good to know. Sad I got knocked down though. Guess I'll have to do better in Punisher as well.

Also, the levels in this one are starting way to high for me, I was getting near the point where I couldn't beat anything in the last sub, and now I really can't beat anything but the first few. I've tried the retreat trick, but it's only drop levels once.

I've got enough HP laid by, but ISO is another story! Barely gained any with all the boosting I had to do. May take it easy next sub and rubberband so I can afford to level Patch some more. Seems wise to prepare for later subs with a beefier Patch. With more covers hopefully coming from Army Of One, I can afford to drop back for a bit.

Hopefully they'll rotate color rewards for future subs and I can rubberband my way easily to the top of 1 or 2 more. Work starts back up on Monday, so I'll be lucky to get in 12 hr refreshes, let alone 8. If I walk out of the whole event with at least a DD cover or two I'll be a happy camper!
  • If tanking with alt characters lowers difficulty, if you saved a ton of tokens, maybe one could get 3 characters, retreat a couple times, and sell when dead. Rinse and repeat
  • The marginal gain for tanking seems slim. After one battle you'll probably jump back up no?
  • Am I correct in that you have to retreat in each separate fight...does not appear to globally scale down as it does up.
  • So if they are 26 hours, basing that on my current reading of 1d01h left... doesn't that mean you could in theory get 4 sets of refreshes if you're quick and exact?

As a sample example, at hours left:

    25+,17+, 11+, 3+ (26 hour bracket)
    vs
    23+, 15+. 7+ (24 hour bracket)
