  • Hm the rubberband dropped quickly. Hope I can make a push :S
  • #1 in both at 1047 sub, 1067 main. One more stack of the Thor mission is all I have left, but I'm going to skip it. Over 150 lead on number 2

How long was the sub-mission time? I seems more than a day. Was it 26 hours? Seems to end at a weird time period.

    Yeah, it was 26 hours.
  • Blah the guy in first has so many points, again! Insane. I guess maybe his main bracket is farther behind than mine?
  • Today was a good day. I knew sooner or later I'll be needing Bagman and GSBW. I spent ISOs on covers. I used one and got GSBW just when the points reset hit! I leveled my points up and let all go back to 1 and decided to go punisher PVP. Used the token there to summon... Bagman. Well, at the very least I have almost all (except for x-force) the covers to use! icon_e_biggrin.gif
  • Me and bugpop are #2/1 in main and subs. We both levelled out at 1005 points before going to 1 pointers.
Will be so angry if people slingshot past us in the sub. Lol
  • I'd like to thank all of the forum users that told how the event worked so I could play as efficiently as possible icon_e_biggrin.gif

So, to sum up what everyone has said, I think a good strategy is:

Join a sub-bracket when it's around 17-18 left for an easier bracket.
Play all of the events from hardest to easiest, doing them twice each.
Wait until around 8 hours, then repeat.
I think if you see the last mission give some amount of points without too hard of a difficulty level, then do that before it's out of reach.
    ???
    Profit.
  • I'm wondering if there's a cooldown on the mission levels that begin at 18 hours. I noticed that from time to time my opponents go from 230/230/230 to 214/215/214 or something like that.

    17-18 points or 17-18 hours?

If the latter, won't that short you an entire refresh vs. your main bracket?

    Yeah, it was 26 hours.

5d10h left in the event too, so we can assume 5 more cycles of 26 hours each. Does this mean you'll need to go for 4 resets per sub if you want to get ahead in your main bracket?

I think the intent is to join as late as possible, and still have time to do one every 8 hours, for a total of 3 times. so at 17 , 9, and 1hour(s) left you'll do the missions.
  • My sub bracket has the overall #2, 6, and 9. And I thought I had an easy draw. icon_e_sad.gif

Not sure how well my 20 point lead will hold up. It might not look like much, but 20 points could be 20 missions. Guess I'll start grinding the first missions to be safe...

You shouldn't make assumptions at all. In previous events the lengths were not always even intervals. They may bring out 3 sub events at once for 52 hours. 2 for 52 hours. They could do anything and everything in between. They could do exactly what you think also. 0 way to tell until it happens.

If there's 4 possible, I'll certainly be at a disadvantage.
  • Colognoisseur shot past me in the main bracket. Must be the 4th refresh

He did some craziness to shoot past me and jozier last night also. We aren't sure what he is up to.
  • He's wild. So many points. He's gaining way more than he should be able to.
  • He's 60 points ahead of me and I had pretty much full rubberband going on.

Correct. This strategy is for the intent of getting as much goodies as possible. You sacrifice *some* of your main bracket placement for a good shot at getting #1 for the sub bracket and getting a full Patch. I'm currently at #2 since I did things out of order a bit.

He's 40 points up on me after my grind fest.
