Each mission stack has 2 levels worth more than 1 point, eg. 5 and 10 (total 15). Each level will recharge 8 hours after you beat it, so if you beat the mission with 10 hours to go + at 9 hours 45 mins, the mission will be worth 5 points with 2 hours to go and worth 10 points with 1 hour 45 minutes left (total 15). If you were to attack with between 2 hours and 1 hour 45 mins left, it would never get to 10 points and you would only get two 5 point rewards = 10 points total so you would lose out on points if you attack too soon. There is also some rubber-banding so the value of missions can also increase if you are falling behind the overall leader, earning up to 10x per mission in previous PvE events to help you catch up.0

On a separate note, I keep seeing you bughunt in the pvp tourneys. Hit u here or there thinking u were shielded. I rarely use them til the end so if you are the same, I'll try to skip you sd much as I can afford0 -
... I just noticed, that I screwed myself out of the quest reset.. errr
Im just happy this is only the first subquest and Ill simply call it a test lol0 -
The missions I ground out stayed at one point a bunch longer. It's 8 hours after you beat each mission last0

Did anyone else notice that the main bracket is harder as well as the sub? The first mission in the main bracket was below 20 and now sits at 91 for me. If that continues to happen this pve event is going to be rough.0

I'm just trying to get Iso-8 at the moment as all my characters are badly limited by iso-8 (many unleveled characters). I'm doing as many fights as I can without any boosts rather than pushing for points yet (569 at the moment which is #2 and I only lost about 100 points overnight unshielded). The only progression awards I'm interested in at the moment are the iso-8 ones + wolverine@2400 too but 2400 has got harder to achieve recently due periods where matchmaking constantly matches you with lower level people. I should probably put iso-8 into other characters first before leveling my 4* ones as they'll suck up a lot of iso-8 before they are better than fully leveled 2*/3* characters. I'll probably start pushing+shielding this evening after next PvE round begins or tomorrow morning. Shields are fairly cheap + 3* wolverine awards are still worth getting so maybe the event will play out differently to last one.Daedelus wrote:Did anyone else notice that the main bracket is harder as well as the sub? The first two stacks of the mission base point is always X and X/2. For example the final mission is worth 50/25 and never lower than that. It could be higher based on rubberband. In my case the first time I did it this morning was 62 (rubberband) and the second time it's 25. Rubberband effect in this sub-bracket is quite small, though I started out in 15th place and is currently #1.
I think I can make a run at 900 points if my health pack hold, but I almost got wiped out on the last mission (stuns barely held on Ragnarok before he was going to finish me off).0 -

Just noticed there's only 200 in each sub + 2000 in the "main" event so that probably explains why you end up lower in the main. Lots more people will get rewards now if only 200 per sub.0 -
Someone mentioned this already, but I just confirmed rubberbanding is based on the overall points. My missions are suddenly worth more in the sub bracket (25 to 27) and I've been #1 in there so obviously no one in that sub bracket is responsible, but TheReck just hit 1000 in the main bracket of doom and that's a rather significant jump on overall bracket leader (was mid 800s before).
So it looks like the scoring will be like The Hulk where it is impossible to do well in consecutive sub brackets, but you also don't have to worry about missing a sub bracket and then never able to make that up. Of course, if the sub bracket of 'only twice before down to 1', you can't count on rubberband to bail you out as much as it did in the past by just doing the easiest mission many times at the max modifier.
Personally I think that's a good compromise. While it's fun to place well in consecutive sub brackets, it's probably not the best thing in the interest of fairness.0 -
#1 in my main bracket.
#2 in my sub bracket.
Lmao0 -
I'm waiting until about an hour and a half left before the end to finish my 3rd and final reset. Gonna be some nice points for me0

We are in the same main bracket!
Currently ranked #189 lol. All I want are 3 Daredevil covers. Got enough X-force for now. Have a 5th red in my cache but I'm afraid to use it, not knowing his incoming buff.0 -

I don't think you can make that conclusion until the end of this sub. The repeat of the hunt was based off the overall sub-event leader (not necessarily who led your sub event.) thereck is likely also the overall sub-event leader at this time. We'll know for sure in a few hours.0 -

My sub bracket was sitting at around 850 when TheReck came out with a 1039 (which is actually a pretty significant jump), but since I'm placed around 15th overall at that time, I assume this isn't an unusual occurence (main bracket is 10 times bigger), and as soon as TheReck hit 1039 it was obvious that someone can easily leapfrog to #1 on my sub bracket riding on his points. I never saw a similar case that'd allow people to easily leapfrog into #1 in The Hunt, though it could just be the case that all the sub bracket I was in had a sub bracket leader that was close to the overall sub bracket leader too. Guess we'll find out soon. At any rate, even if it's based on the overall sub-bracket leader, it's pretty safe to assume nobody is going to pass up TheReck now.0 -
So nervous. I'm waiting it out before making my push still. Because the guy in number 1 when I was number 2 has made his push.0
-
Sitting at 939, #1 in my sub bracket and #3 overall. I hope that's enough to discourage the #2 guy from making a charge (815).
For the record I did every mission exactly twice so far every refresh except for the final round where I did one of each so far minus final (twice) and Thor (none).
I find that any mission that requires you to use someone other than OBW or Wolverine is quite hard, because you must have OBW and Wolverine together for their synergy to work, and ideally your 3rd member should be Spiderman. But, if you're forced to use someone else (GSBW for final mission, Thor for one of the other mission) you can't preserve this ideal mix.0 -
Hard as hard gets
#1 at 1024 in Main
#1 at 1004 in Sub0 -
How long was the sub-mission time? I seems more than a day. Was it 26 hours? Seems to end at a weird time period.0
-
I'm at #1 1034 / 1054, having cleared everything exactly six times, except for the final mission which I've only done five times. It's taken a lot for me to beat that one with a lv15 Widow, and she definitely dies every time.0
