So, now it's time to decide whether 2k a day is worth investing 650 HP for each of two roster slots and using ISO to build up a couple of 1* characters. I'm thinking, no. Or maybe yes. Maybe I'll do a poll.
I cleared the node with a 1/5 Black Widow at level 21. Just hoped into Shield Sim and played a couple matches for some standard tokens and some covers (and I bought maybe three more Tokens after that) and just covered up what had the most covers - and with 3500 ISO-8 up for grabs (plus Taco Token Pulls) even after leveling her I'm pretty sure I came out ISO positive. Not to mention another Black Panther Yellow.Moon Roach wrote:ale kalel 1981 wrote:Hello everybody.
A question: the deadpool daily ends in 14 hours. After that a new DD will come?
Everyday new matches?
Thanks!
Mine ends in 2 hours 23 minutes, for both my Android and Steam accounts. Interesting, are they staggered?
Mine has two hours and five minutes left, currently, but yes, another one should start right after.0 -

Ooh, good call. I was too focussed on keeping Juggernaut level 1 for faster healing that throwing some levels into him and playing that node solo didn't occur to me. I had enough ISO spare to take him to 16, and barely scraped a win by mutual suicide.
I don't think I'll change the poll though. Having another 1* or two just in case (and I had a 0/5 BW for a while for team-ups until I needed the roster slot) is a good idea now we have this event. It will be interesting to see how it develops over time. Maybe I'll stay up until midnight just to see what's there on day 2.0 -

First run through as Wolveroach I got destroyed. When She-Hulk, Beast and Daredevil appeared they were level 110 or so. Whoosh, Billy Club, Reprieve, lots of nice powers that the nice goons had saved AP up for. I didn't even get to wave 3. Though I did managed to "down" She-Hulk with match damage from OBW.
My daily reward just before was 3 health packs. I should have read the signs...
Time to re-think the approach with the roster I have.
Gather ap the first few rounds until you have 30 of each. Just keep healing back up with obw after you take some pistol shots and keep draining with aggressive recon. When the first 3*s show up nuke she hulk and Beast with Thor green and yellow, gather green, Gather back as much as you can, taking advantage of the fact that Daredevil just doesn't do jack squat. When the last round showed up I just finished draining all their ap but their green to 0 and continuously hammered on them with every thor power - reds into yellows into greens. Killed all of them in a couple turns. Ares or 2* wolvie could work but Thor is just hilarious when you can chain his powers into each other from 30ap
I tried OBW, 2* Thor and my trusty 1/5/1 X-Force (level 115). Hitman got off too many countdowns too fast and Thor was down before the end of wave 1. But I persevered, and relied on match damage, healing and the odd Surgical Strike and judicious match-my-yellow-Recovery-countdown. Bit of a swine when Doom turned up, immediately cast Technopathic Strike, and my ready to go Surgical Strike had no blues to strike surgically.
It took 20 minutes but victory was mine.0 -
Finally, a nice event! How long will Deadpool's Daily Quest go on for? A week or something?0

So, 1st one just over, next starts in 7 minutes, but no indication of reward other than the 2k progression...
And it's Magneto Yellow.0 -
It's a surprise, you will have to wait and see. Hopefully this one runs 24h.0

23 hours and 50 minutes.0 -
And it's freaking C.Mags yellow. Really?
I guess they are doing the top covers for everyone. Same as the Daily Reward. Good news is they have to cycle back in about a month. Hope they change the cover reward then.0 -
It might be top power of each char first but the char order looks random. Nothing alphabetical going on, even if you look at him as being C.Mags you'd still have seen Beast and Colossus earlier in the list.0
-
From the token odds, Black Panther, Luck Cage, Magneto, Rocket & Groot and Storm are the only 3* there. So I guess that's our first 5 sorted.0

Could be yellow week indeed. Just won the yellow mags cover for the second quest0
-
Shame it's Mags yellow, the only color I don't need for him. Still, the ISO gain is nice and it's a fun event.
Hoping I'll get lucky and draw a Rocket & Groot from the Enemy of the State tokens before they're coming up this week, though. The biggest thing to get used to after an extended break from MPQ is not having required characters for a change.0 -
Damn... If it is yellow week it will be not lucky for me. I didn't need BP Yellow, as well as I don't need Mohawk Yellow - I have only four maxed 3* skills at all and these are two of them
BTW: How long is this DD? Also 14h?0 -

24 hours, the first one just opened at an odd time. Looks like they are starting at 6am EST and running for 24 hours.0 -
I'm pulling for yellow week, because I need one more yellow for Luke Cage and to spec Rocket and Groot correctly. Might be nice if they do that every week - pick a single color - since it would give us an idea of what we're getting ahead of time.0

I think the toss-up is between Yellow Week and First Cover Week. It could be either - but I'm assuming we'll get confirmation of that when Mohawk's turn comes up. Where Black Panther, Classic Magneto, Luke Cage and Rocket'n'Groot all have yellow as their first cover, Mohawk has green as the first, yellow as the second. Either way it's cool with me. Extra Iso helps.0 -

For the two I need covers for, either one works fine. And if I can pull a black Luke Cage cover in addition, I'll have him finished, cover-wise, but that may be setting my hopes a little high.0
