When the PCs came out in the final round of in the survival node, I had enough ap for Windstorm and CTS. Boom, game over.
For the Essential, I used Panther, LDaken, and Deadpool, then I swapped Patch out for DP for the final node. Didn't really have a problem with any of them. Of course, the guys I chose are all 12 or 13 covers and around level 120-130, so this event was perfect for me.
I didn't need the BP Yellow (need one more Black for him), but my first Taco Token gave me 1000 HP! This plus all the iso means it was time well spent.
So true. It kinda rewards players who has a diverse roster (I know my collectors mentality would come in handy). So I was pleased that the opponents were within reasonable level for me to use characters (a nice change from the same team). I just hope for the future missions in this event that it won't scale to ridiculous proportions (that's roughly when I lost a bit of enjoyment of this game).0 -
This is perfect for a transition player like me. I was actually excited to play after work today. A couple 3*'s, some ISO, and my enjoyment of the game is restored!0

This is a fun event and a very welcome addition to the game. I don't play much these days, but this is the type of game mode that I will continue to play. I like the chance to build my expansive character collection even more, and having it be Deadpool related is just bonus.
Phantron, nice to see that you're still a ray of sunshine on here too.0 -

Seems like a solid template for the transition guys. Let's hope they have plan to extend that elsewhere for challenging and non competitive PvE content.
Easy is a bit of a stretch. I don't see most transitioners clearing that survival node with anything resembling ease.
I saved up for 2 Lazy thor Call the Storms and cleared the non-goon waves in a single round, but especially with She-Hulk coming out and - without any chance for player reaction - casting reprieve on one of your AP pools, someone with a limited heavy-hitting power pool would be in a bind really quickly.
EXACTLY! It's really annoying to read "lulz, dis 2 e-z" and "booo, i didn't need another Panther, he's already covered" and "i used my x_thorce" and "awwwww, reminescing about using 1*s."
THIS EVENT IS PROBABLY NOT AIMED AT YOU ALL. lol. Duh.
And having said that, I wish the developers would have locked out anyone with say 10 fully covered 3*s and up.0 -

That'd be too hard to determine: "Well, Sheila here has a perfectly specced X-Force that she magically got from tokens, let's ban her from Deadpool daily". I'm just glad there's no competition in it.0 -

Why? It's a non-competitive event in every sense of the term. Your award is the same, regardless of when you finish, who finishes before/after you and how many attempts it takes you. Who cares if someone gets an extra cover they don't need? It doesn't mean you have any less chance to get your own. That's hardly a reason to eliminate awards for someone else. It's like in PVP when you get a 1- or 2-star cover you don't need--it's still better than 70 and everyone's in the same boat, so why complain?0 -
First, as a 2-3* transition player, I loved this day one. Took me a few hours to figure things out along with playing Enemy of The State, Cage Match, and Shield Sim, but easy on health packs which was nice. My time bracket only gave me 9 hrs. after my first clear of PvE, guessing this was a fluke from the launch.
Second, I noticed that the taco tokens only have 5 featured characters along side the Hero Pts rewards? Is this a regular thing? Are there going to be repeats/unavailable characters of the week in taco tokens? Or is this just a starting later in the week kind of deal? If so, what happens to those HP chances in the future?
Third, I actually liked the limited rosters for different nodes....but seriously something needs to be done about roster slot prices sometime soon...even a free roster slot for a new character earned in the launch event is better than what we have currently.0 -
Yeah this is basically the best thing ever. Nice chunk of iso for veterans, which have all been begging for it for a long time, helps out people transitioning from both 1* to 2* and 2* to 3*, gives you an ok chance to get hp, doesn't take forever and is actually pretty fun.
All around thumbs up from me.0 -

First run through as Moon Roach was trivially easy. When She-Hulk, Beast and Daredevil appeared they were only level 110 or so.
First run through as Wolveroach I got destroyed. When She-Hulk, Beast and Daredevil appeared they were level 110 or so. Whoosh, Billy Club, Reprieve, lots of nice powers that the nice goons had saved AP up for. I didn't even get to wave 3. Though I did managed to "down" She-Hulk with match damage from OBW.
My daily reward just before was 3 health packs. I should have read the signs...
Time to re-think the approach with the roster I have.0 -

Permit me to disagree with the contention that we'd start with Ares. You're right about Beast being before Black Panther alphabetically though.0 -

Dear Demiurge.
Deadpool's Daily Quest is the best thing to happen to MPQ in a long time! Only five nodes, guaranteed 3* cover (if you have the essential character), 2 taco tokens with a 10% chance of a 3* cover and the possibility of earning HP, and a lot of ISO to earn. Great job, have a cookie!
However, I feel I should warn you: if you nerf the rewards two weeks/a month from now like you sometimes do, I will use the particular set of skills I do not have, I will find you and I will take back my cookie.0 -

Gather ap the first few rounds until you have 30 of each. Just keep healing back up with obw after you take some pistol shots and keep draining with aggressive recon. When the first 3*s show up nuke she hulk and Beast with Thor green and yellow, gather green, Gather back as much as you can, taking advantage of the fact that Daredevil just doesn't do jack squat. When the last round showed up I just finished draining all their ap but their green to 0 and continuously hammered on them with every thor power - reds into yellows into greens. Killed all of them in a couple turns. Ares or 2* wolvie could work but Thor is just hilarious when you can chain his powers into each other from 30ap0 -

I think survival nodes is going to have this as a general problem because the safest strategy is to just turtle up when there's only one guy left and keep on drain AP with OBW/The Hood/Blade until they have 0 AP and you have 30 AP of all colors and that will usually do the trick no matter what kind of crazy stuff awaits you, but if you don't do this then you'll probably run into a case where a new guy just has too much AP piled up from earlier guys (doesn't have to be goons) and you got no chance to survive it.0 -
One thing about this is the 2k ISO available for completing all nodes. Which is not possible if you have a single 1* character (5/5 level 1 Juggernaut for Combined Arms or whatever it's called).
So, now it's time to decide whether 2k a day is worth investing 650 HP for each of two roster slots and using ISO to build up a couple of 1* characters. I'm thinking, no. Or maybe yes. Maybe I'll do a poll.0 -

Hello everybody.
A question: the deadpool daily ends in 14 hours. After that a new DD will come?
Everyday new matches?
Thanks!0 -

Mine ends in 2 hours 23 minutes, for both my Android and Steam accounts. Interesting, are they staggered?0 -
No no.. also mine ends in 2 hours 20 minutes...
I mean that the DD lasts 14 hours..
I've asked if, after that, a new DD will come0
