Maybe you can gather a metric buttload of them and get a 4* cover?
i can confirm that "Taco Tokens" get u a chance to apply to one of the illest and most well respected alliances in the game. Save em up now MPQuniverse. The Tacos are taking applicants...
easy...

How sweet would it be if Taco Tokens traded in for whatever the daily cover was? Then if you picked up a taco token on a day with yet another Hulk Green, you could save it and end up netting yourself 2 Hood Blues another day!
It'd make getting characters usable way faster.0 -

when they first said taco tokens i though they were buildable tokens. Meaning win enough tokens cash them in for XXXX
Yeap thats right Porn0 -
They did say the 3* characters available in taco tokens will rotate every week to match that week's slate of guaranteed 3* covers, so assuming they work like regular event tokens you should be able to hold on to a taco you earned in one week and use it on the next week's cover pool.0

Since it's Deadpool, I think it would be fantastic if the taco tokens had the chance to include "choose your own adventure" style options - even if it was just a single question or scenario per token. Something like:
(Deadpool): Hey, buddy! Pssst! That's right, over here! I know you have a sweet setup with all of those hero and villain pals of yours somehow getting along under one roof. I ran out of tacos today, so I'm feelin' mean. If I pay you 2,500 ISO to look the other way, can I beat them all up to cheer me up a little?
(YES - player earns 2,500 ISO, every member on roster is downed)
(NO - Deadpool gets mad, and hits the player in the face with a bag full of coins. When the player comes to, he(or she) finds that Deadpool has left, but forgot the bag! Gain 25 HP from the coins in the bag.)
(Deadpool): You there! The one with the dumb expression on your face? Yeh, you! I'm in a mood to gamble, so let's play a game. See these two sacks? One's full of tacos, and the other is full of rabid weasel. You pick a hand, and I throw the contents of that bag in your face. Fun! So which hand is it gonna be?
(LEFT/RIGHT)
50%: Tacos! The player gets 5 "Taco Time" Buffs. These buffs grant +1 AP in each color, and +10% match damage in each color. (These buffs cannot be purchased when they run out)
50%: Weasel! The weasel smacks the player in the face, and then races off. However, the impact knocked something loose from a pocket on your jacket that you'd forgotten about- Huh, how about that! (Player earns one event token, randomly selected from all events)
(Deadpool): Hey, good timing! I was just getting ready to buy a chimi from the city's best chimi-slinger, and I realized I forgot my cash. Be a pal and give me a no-interest, no-payback 500 ISO loan so I can stuff myself with red-hot chimichanga goodness?
(YES: You decide to help a chimichanga-loving fella out. He won't forget you bro! (Player earns 3 "Chimichanga Cha-Cha" Team-ups. 10 AP. Angered that losers are attacking his chimi-enabling buddy, Deadpool launches into action. He steals one enemy's lunch money (steals 3 AP in randomly selected colors), slices another enemy (deals 30% of an enemy's max health to itself), and throws another enemy into a wall (stuns one random enemy for one turn), before departing, feeling Deadpool-style justice has been done.)
(NO: Deadpool gives you the stinkeye, then kicks the chimi-stand over and takes the chimichangas for himself. The poor street vendor runs off, screaming. However, you can't help but notice that his cash register broke open while he was running away - shame to let good coins go to waste! (randomly earns 15 - 30 HP)0 -
Got a 2* from my first taco token0

Wow! Just completed the quest and have to say this is simply Awesome!!!!!!! Thanks D3 folks, really this is REALLY generous and makes for Happy Times!0

I love this mode so much. I don't need today's cover... but the taco tokens, the ISO, and the chance to dust off the unused 1 & 2* is fantastic. Even though I sold all my 1* in a pre-BoP world and they're all lvl 20 or less it's still a blast.0

Impressions:
Apparently they want you to keep 1* and 2* rosters. Good! Fun to play them! Make sure you address HP costs for roster spaces pronto!
Difficulty seems reversed. If these are "set" levels, I went into essentials with my 5/5/1 223 X-force, 127 fully covered BP, 140 Daken. Enemies range 99-132 (would like to hear - the same for everyone?). Barely made it out of there with that crew.
If I -didn't- have a fully covered essential, I don't know if I could have earned another one of the essentials. Also, it took a pretty good 4* to get that 3*. Are these really made for "transition" teams to acquire? I ended 13th - 11 of the 12 rosters above mine were better than mine, one had "only" a 170 X-force to go with several 166's.
Overall it was new and fun, I look forward to these! I do hope the essentials are not quite as difficult perhaps, but still fun!0 -

I used normal pve roster for the last node (lcap, blade, falcon). And my BP is undercovered and underleveled.0 -
i loved it!! not fond of the heroes dropping in and bombing me with all the goon mana in the final node, but what a cool diversion. doesnt take much time and i hit a bp in a taco token. 2 bps in a day for my lowly 1 cover bp thats been sitting there gathering dust for two+ months.
NICE JOB D3. NOW PUT HP ON SALE SO I CAN GIVE YOU SOME MONEY!!0 -

I enjoyed it. Went in with Hulk fully covered 140, BP 5/1/5 at 137 and Lthor at 2/5/4 127. I made the mistake of doing a RoTP on the first goon wave so the 2nd wave characters came in guns blazing and shot off all their attacks. Luckily, hulk at that HP became very angry lol.
Same happened for the last wave but I had 9 (9!!) BP strike tiles out at 225 a piece. All characters had around 1000 health left tho.
Now I need a 1* to get the progression at 2K iso and the 500iso. Overall, can't complain! Love the idea of this0 -
Looking at the store page it seems likely that the free covers you can get are BP, Luke Cage, Cmags, Grocket and storm. Which is sad since I don't have a single Luke Cage cover so I can't get a second one.0
-
Patch, Daken, Loki made short work of the survival node. True healing out front, Patch green to Loki black built up some crazy strong strike and protect tiles during the first wave that I was able to ride throughout the next four, adding more strike/protect tiles to replace the ones that got matched as I went.0

I loved it as well. Even though I did not need the cover it was fin with great rewards. Best thing added to the game in a long time.0

Same level node for me, went in with a lvl 110 falcon (5/4/2), 104 blade (5/2/1) and 2* 94 wolvie (5/5/3). Last node you dont need to use BP at all. Was so easy, you just picked a pretty bad team, need that goon cd-tile clear with falcon or someone else.0 -

When you get here, you'll find that there's a sign saying "Promised Land that way" pointing to 4* land
I know you're being silly, but idc about 4-stars, I just want 3stars and covers so I can leave 2*land and finally have my Patch Daken and Blade make sweet love
also, glad I kept my level 40 jugg around to manhandle that first node.
Didn't need yellow BP, but this is basically everything I was asking for(besides balance changes) from D3.
Thanks D3. Please make it daily daily daily daily daily0 -

This is the biggest problem I see with it for now - which is only a problem in the sense you can't get ISO (and a token I think).
I have four 1*'s remaining on my roster - crazy HP costs have forced me to sell Hawkeye/Yelena/Widow. But it's lucky I had four - one of them is still Storm, and I think the AI had a storm TU? She wasn't available for me to pick out, although I know the next update is supposed to fix this. It means you almost have to keep four 1*'s right now, just in case the AI has a Juggy (who is one of your three, of course).
It is so great we can play with 1* and 2*''s! That they are worthwhile to level! Devs - fix HP roster costs ASAP so we can all keep the 1*'s and 2*s!0 -
Wow! These were fun to play. But 4 waves of Lvl 99-132 to get the Black Panther cover.....yikes.
I was annihilated in the second wave. This isn't going to be an easy way to reach 3* land.0 -
This is great! Something to look forward to every day.
By the way, has anyone lost part-way through the survival nodes? Are they then repeatable until completely beaten?0
