    Have to say that if the skip tax was in effect for this tournament it would have been a nightmare. Just played up to 500 for the HP and am now a tasty morsel for whomever gets to me earliest as I doubt I'll play this again.

    Same here. I grinded to 500 points for ISO and HP. But since the prizes are not that interesting for me (already have maxed Punisher and OBW) I'm gonna sit this one out. I'm eagerly waiting for the next PvE though. I neeeeed the sweet, sweet ISO to level all my 3*s...

    I've been tanking for 2 days. Going to go for the HP tonight and then tank till morning. I only want the OBW covers so it should be easy enough to do.

    Threw up 8 hr shield with a lev 1 tank team...Go nuts.

    Rising tide has to lift all the boats so I have someone to attack when my shield expires ; )

    Re-shielded at 2021 with level 1 tank team. 3 more hours of free wins. Have at it.

    Pushing for 2400 when I get home @ 7:30pm... please lay off for a bit until I hit progression, then I'll throw tank squad back out there.

    Retaliations show up randomly in whatever free slot is available...

    I should have started earlier. it's going to be tough to tank far enough for top 75 when the 500 HP tier is like top 5 in this bracket

    That's the problem I'm having. I'm not going to bother going for the 500 reward when it's top 10 in my bracket. When the main thing I want are the OBW covers, there's no way I can predict how much I'd be able to tank back out and still stay in the top 75.

    I can be doing PVE or Shield tournament in prologue for a couple hours with no attacks. No sooner than I start attacking again do I wind up as a target for 3 - 6 differnt people. I'm suggesting you clear out the retaliations and make a few enemies by attacking. I don't know if that screws with your MMR tanking strategy.

    I planned to try to finish this tournament either in top15 or in the 46-150 bracket, but when I see those 10k+ hp Thors everywhere, I think I'll pass. Long and boring matches.

    I just took out a team that was worth 55 points icon_e_surprised.gif !

    It was a high level rags ( 10,000 health ) , A maxed Obw, and A almost maxed Loki.
    I accomplished this with storm maxed, thor level 65, and obw 74. I did use boost though.

    The thing is is that i have never seen points worth over 30 . . .

    It's not about MMR, it's about getting my score down, since I've been maxed out for punisher since the first 50k progression reward

    Were they worth 55 points before you attacked them? Maybe someone attacked you, lost, and chose to yield, and what you saw were the points you earned, plus the points obtained by another opponent yielding.

    Hard to play for fun when your chances of winning most matches are slim. The highest level of the buff characters I have is a 67 Ares. Everything else is much lower. The chances of me beating a team of 3 buff characters in one go in slim, and I don't want to spend 30 minutes skipping in order to play one match. Since I've done everything in Prologue and Shield Training, I have nothing to do in this game until LR or the next event starts.

    After further review... this really isn't fun :/ Sure, wrecking stuff with Thor and Ares is fun, but not when it happens to you almost every other battle.

    Now that I've gotten the token (which turned out to be useless), I'm not going to even bother with another match unless I'm in danger of falling below 200th place. This is tedious, and I'm getting tired of every team in every match (including lightning rounds) being pretty much the same thing.

    One thing this tournament is doing is making me start to really, really look forward to the Thor nerf. I'm tired of fighting him. I want some variety.

    I've been loving it, at the risk of seeming contrary. Thor's Last Hurrah: Monstrous spikes and target-all skills for everybody! They totally should've paired it with a health pack discount, they'd be raking it in.

    Probably helps that I just picked my way up past 500, 15-20 at a time, for the HP and have been leisurely ISO grinding it since. Makes a pleasant change to play without constantly second-guessing boosting and shielding strategy and wearing out the skip button after trying to place high in the last few.
