ARE YOU TINNYKITTY KIDDING ME? You took the one noncompetitive event in the game and tacked placement rewards on it. **** is wrong with you people?

    Just play it the old way and ignore the top ten rewards. Stress averted.

    Don't need the covers, can't ever seem to beat gauntlet anyway, no alliance rewards - nice easy, light week as I skip it like usual.

    Very little has made me giggle like the reward structure:
    1-10: 10 pack!
    11-10000 (yeah, 10K brackets): Standard token!

    I don't think it's a huge deal? The vast majority will get one extra standard token than before, that's all. If someone wants to jump in and be the fastest ever it's cool too. No grinding needed.

    It you read the description, it's not a grind-fest, it's a speed run. The prize goes to the first 10 people to finish each segment.

    A little more generous award structure would be great, and you can still change it, Demiurge!

    Especially with no time-slices on a competitive event, and no pre-announcement.

    Some thoughts. Firstly I don't know where the OP is coming from. He probably doesn't know either. Basically everybody gets extra Iso so pull your pants up, put on the hat and sit in the corner until you calm down.

    What struck me when I first saw it was that it's either a 3 star 10-pack (which according to MPQ is worth at least 140 dollars, assuming a regular tenpack is 20 bucks and the chance for 3 stars is 1/7 as for 2 stars) and 100 Iso.

    The idea is cute but all of those tenpacks are going to be won by 270 XForce 270 4hor.

    Again, it's cute but it's only for the top 0,1% of players who need something to challenge themselves with. Which is fine.

    10pack competition reward is guaranteed 3*! (based on token graphics)

    Starts at midnight my time, so I'll basically have no chance for top 10 placement barring freak luck. So regular Gauntlet for me but without any appealing prices.

    I hadn't noticed that, 10 3 stars is actually quite cool as a prize. And it's not like it will give the winners an unfair advantage since they will likely have most of them already. It's primarily an Iso boost.

    If your not starting in the first few minutes the gauntlet opens if more going to come down did you lucked out on joining a main that is under 20 minutes old

    Soooo happy it's the Gauntlet! I only need Punisher green so i get to take it easy. No hope of being fast enough to get top 10 so not gonna let it stress me

    The only reason they do this is because people freak out, buy tokens, covers, etc, hoping to win despite near impossible odds. But be chill; you already lost the 10-pack and gained a Standard token. Where's the harm, if you look at it with a cool head?

    Only the first 10 people to finish get a good ranking reward. So why in the world would the devs choose to start it while another event is still ongoing. I'm gonna have to try and hit my refreshes in R&G pve and be one of the first ten people to get through the gauntlet.

    I don't understand why people get mad when an event comes out where they feel they're not competitive. We don't have to join every event and we're certainly not entitled to every reward. I think this is a good challenge to the very top players to keep them engaged, and the rest of us can just farm the rewards or not play at all.

    This is worse then finishing on the bubble in poker. from 10 3*'s to 1 standard token.
