Not for Elektra. Luckily, I don't have you in my bracket to make me work as hard . I have missed a refresh in this event, and still look like I'm gonna be able to make Top 5. Not sure if I'll be able to grab #1 from GuiltTrip, who is only 1100 pts ahead.0 -
Ok my last past on the second sub (first time bracket), I'm now starting to see some effects on scaling, last node has jumped from lvl 40 to 49, that's almost 12 hours after it first started..., guess its gonna be a somewhat painful last few hours on this bracket as there are two very cheap AP using heroes you fight in Psylocke and Storm0

I'm glad ppl suggested grinding nodes down if you can't do refreshes....it'll help my sleep cycle so I think I'll start doing that instead. The essentials/low level nodes aren't scaling too bad so I can at least do it there...0

Well my second sub has the correct levels associated to the nodes so not everyone is bugged.
Well, I'm assuming this is pretty prevalent based on the forum, since although the forum is a very small sample size of the population, there shouldn't be anything special about the posters that makes it any more or less likely to have bugged scaling. That's the second event in a row where the final placement is completely unfair and they really need to do something about that. If they can't figure out what to do they can at least turn off scaling altogether and sure it'd be a glorious grindfest but at least it'd be pretty relaxing while facerolling level 50 nodes.0 -

Have they even stated that they have a scaling bug and are working on it? As there no way I can hold off anyone in my bracket if they got lvl 50 nodes while mine are north of 200.0 -
I'm in slice 5 and just started China. Scaling seems to be turned off for me. Not that I complain since I was a bit beat up after battling Punisher on level 250...0

Sorry to hear that. I'm coasting again with essentials in the 20s and hardest node around level 50 for the second sub. In comparison, first sub ended with punisher in the 300s (time slice 1)
I prefer hard scaling for all, but easy for all is still fair at least - it just favors grinders. Some players getting the easy train and others getting regular difficulty is tinykittied up.0 -

Haven't heard anything official, but my nodes range from level 15 to level 50 and I don't see how that can possibly be intended. This also makes any competition between people with similar time schedule a joke, since even if you had god mode and take no damage, just the time it takes you to go through 3 guys with 10K would make you lose by a comfortable margin compared to someone killing level 50 enemies in 1 minute. Based on the forums I'm guessing there's at least 5% of the people experiencing this bug, and that's 5% too many.0 -

That sounds about the same as what I had in the first two subs. It wasn't until this bugged scaling that I noticed that no 2* can be below level 15 and no 3* can be below level 40, since if you look at the guys they're paired up with they're actually supposed to be lower than level 40/15 in some cases! I heard some people had broken scaling on first sub too.
I thought the first sub's scaling was pretty good minus the 4X level 250+ Muscle/Don combination that aren't just hard but all take forever to kill due to their crazy number of HPs. I missed about 4 cycles and finished at around #40 and that seems quite reasonable.0 -

Erm... you do know "difficulty scaling" is based on the player's roster? this is the reason why you see people with lvl 94 2*rosters doing generally better than 2* to 3* transition rosters or people with a single very high level character
You'll find those people who tend to do well with PvE events DO NOT have a single character that is way out levelled to the rest of their rosters... The number of people i see with a single lvl 200+ xforce and the rest of their roster below lvl 100 is gimping themselves, as the difficulty is scaled off their highest level character... xforce lvl. So at hard nodes you're dealing with lvl 250+ enemies... If you happen to have to face any version of Wolverine in the nodes, well done, now you have to use your lvl 100s or lower to beat a team that is lvl 250+...(Not you personally, just highlighting the logic)
The advice I give to my allience is never out level one character with the rest of your roster if story events are your focus (does not apply to verses event), always level two or three characters in tandem, because otherwise you face a similar situation to the above.... and **** yourself
I'm not sure the exact numbers but hard nodes are 20-25% more than your highest level character, and deadly is a higher percentage based on your roster. So in your case those people you see in your bracket was never facing lvl 290 enemies. they were facing hard/deadly nodes based on a lvl 94 character which shouldn't even exceed lvl 200 if my numbers are right. someone else can correct me on this...
They are not cheating, the system is just unfair on people who are in a transition either from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 stars. Anyone transitioning from 3 to 4 stars right now is really gimping themselves because the scaling on a 1* or 2* star enemies far outpower a 4* star character past lvl 200... Until we see some additional bracketing based on people's roster strength, if you fall into the above groups I mention, you will tend to be at a disadvantage competeing against these players.0 -
Oh in regards to scaling, it seems right now, global scaling is competely off in the first time slot bracket..... however I am seeing personal scaling on the very last node and essential nodes in the second sub (lvl 40s to lvl 57 now), beyond that everything else is stuck at under lvl 40..... I will update in about 3 hours time which should be the 24 hour mark after the second sub started. and the also the same time at which the global scaling kicked in on the first sub (24 hours after it started). I expect to be tangoing with a lvl 200 psylocke and 2* star storm then!0

This is a messed up event.
Moon Roach is on 64k and #10, Wolveroach, without Loki and just using Sentry, OBW and Ares, is on 29k and #14 (top is 40k). Both are in time slot 1, different brackets.
It's 10 minutes for a full clear, who needs health packs.
Scaling got fixed Monday morning in the first 36 hour sub, how come we're 20+ hours into this one and scaling is still a piece of piss? (Coercive Force is 55.)

That is not what I am seeing my higher level nodes started out over 200 in slice two, and are much higher now. You can call them trivial if you want but one mis step with storm and you get AoE for 5K damage.0 -
