If that one cover isn't blue you can do it easily. I only have one black cover in my steam account and I breezed through the nodes with a lvl 54 wolverine and a lvl 50 iron man (1*)

Now do the same thing when facing lvl 100+ opponents, like everyone else that isn't just starting out...

Speaking to that - where are all the covers? I've been playing for about 10 months and have only ever gotten 2.....not exactly putting fear into the heart of the enemies......

Even for those without BP covered he's a relatively available hero and he's quite strong on his own. Unless all you have is blue cover he should be able to do fine unless community scaling turns out to be nasty.

Yeah, I've seen at least five events now that give BP rewards in the four months I've been playing (two PvPs, two Gauntlets and now this Heroic). Only the PvPs have given out any black covers at all, and they weren't Top 100 prizes (i.e. the only one accessible to transitioners) in either one. I'm lucky enough to have pulled two ROTP covers from tokens, but dang.

Thats EXACTLY what you'll be doing when you see there's no one in your team who can remove, overwrite or increase the timer on goon countdown tiles and realise that high level def tiles are your best friend.

You can use Magneto to snipe countdowns with 4-matches. And if you're really desperate, get his to 5 and it will clear entire board.

So, you've got no real usable stuns (19AP?), and only 1* storm for board clear, though Ms Marvel and Mags could possibly be used in useless desperation. This doesn't seem as much heroic as sadist. Wonder if it's possible to hit the Ms Marvel cover before the last 2 days.

Just did my first run through of the nodes. Highest was Who Is This Clown at 204. Highest essential was 139. Scaling is going to get out of hand quickly it looks like.

So, let's see... my BP is 5/3/0, my GSBW is 5/2/2, and Colossus is 2/1/0, but my scaling is high as I do have a bunch of higher end 3s and a fairly high x-force. I'm basically **** on getting Mystique which is going to screw me going forward. Last time I went through that was with human torch ***.

If history repeats itself I may be done with this **** game and the **** devs releasing characters non-stop, and through heroics which people **** hate.

Speaking from past experience, if you're grinding every 3 hours, you'll get double, sometimes even triple the amount of points required for the final progression reward. Some people have been able to get the final progression reward by joining the last day, thanks to rubberbanding (the nodes being worth more points).

I think our new CM David asked for a concrete list of what we as players don't like about heroic events. Well David; the fact that our scaling is being determined mostly by roster assets we are not even allowed to be used, that ranks preeeeeee---ty high up there...

I don't believe that's the case. Easiest way is to get an idea is to let the XForce 270 crown chime in with their levels relative to someone with BP/Colsssus/GSBW but no 4* leveled.
