Speed is usually the most risky as well and will lead to more health packs used normally. Efficiency should be the end goal which will lead to faster games in itself and lower risks.

I find speed to be less risky since shorter games = less time for a monster cascade to ruin my day...then again I guess I always like the glass cannon approach to things.

Well it could be said I don't Need Fury either and I have a number of maxed out 3*. It is not like I am getting the 450K ISO to level him any time soon. I seem to have extended my buffer over 10th position hmm might finish with a cover after all.

I think for the sheer fact that since you do have a maxed roster (and along with that, the time and dedication to build one) while grinding this pve, you deserve a Fury more than someone who is maybe a month into the game and is reaping the benefits of little to no scaling.

We have a little more than a day left- how big is your lead?

Haha a few PvEs ago I was going to nicely fall down to 3rd to let some other people grab some rewards then I looked at 3rd saw it was a tinnykity 2* roster and decided to keep my foot on the gas so Top2 would at least go to 2 roughly equal 3* rosters. That extra 1000 ISO for Baglady was much appreciated.

I'm really impressed how you and the other person you've been flip flopping 1/2 with just straight up pulled away. You can't see all the way down if I fall below 10, but it's a freakin dog fight. I won't be able to play for about... 6-8 hours tomorrow, but hopefully will have the final 3 hours to lockdown. Are you going to push for 1 or call it a day?

Just playing Devil's Advocate, but a level 70 Fury is going to do more for a 1* team than a 3* team.

BTW: I've seen a few players disappearing from the ladder and I climbed positions without doing anything: is anticheat set on aggressive for this tournament?

I'm going to keep pushing less to get the win and more just out of curiousity to see how high I can get. I can see right now you're in 10th with a bit of a gap before 9th. I can only imagine how many people are right behind you trying to steal that last spot.

Low level rosters tend to have a bit of an advantage since they have low scaling and the superbuffed 3*s can pretty easily carry their weaker chars through fights. So it's not impossible.

200 day player with no Fury makes Amazeballs a sad, lil lady! (In my defense, I didn't jump into a 20 person alliance for the first three seasons, as I knew I wouldn't be able to hold my own until my roster beefed up a bit, which it did during S4.)

Just checked to do a clear and yep, in 11th at the moment lol. Let me put my body armor on and go back in... saving the riot gear for tomorrow!

With the grindy nature of this event, it is far more important to squeeze in every refresh for even the low point missions as opposed to outright roster domination. Even if your roster is weak such that the hard bracket is not doable for you, you can still get a decent score by just plugging away on those 80-100 point easy missions that anybody should be able to beat. The rubberband in this event is very weak and combined with the very short time of the subs, it's pretty close to a no rubberbanding scenario so every 100 point you pick up is 100 point someone who didn't do that mission won't have.

Psyduck, Hood and the angry green blob sorted him out pretty quick. They got smashed doing it but he was dead before he could get Godlike Power off more than three or four times.

And Bewilder was actually useful for a change with all that AP lying around unattended - Betsy swiped 17 yellow and 38 green

Should be I have a 10K lead over top 10. There are some mad grinders going for the top 2 spots but just clearing the nodes in the final hour should see me safely stay in top 10.

In 7th going into the last subs. Sort of wish I wasn't, but I'll hang in one more day for a Fury cover. No way I'm catching the grinders for the top spots. Good for them, they deserve it. Poor bastards probably haven't slept in four days.

I used HT, Hood and Spidey, 3 Blue and All AP boosts, stunned Ragnarok, matched blue to let me keep him stunned, set off Flame Jet and let Hood keep it fed. A few turns later Rags is toast, and the minions soon follow.

But never again, it's too stressful as a bad layout can lead to a dead team.
