well that Hulk Bonanza Bomb certainly caught me by surprise hehe

i had just busted into the T10 for pVp when the news hit. fortunately i decided to take a gander at the Hulk pVe (half hoping the reward was a Yellow Nick Fury or Black Hulk. Not so lucky lol) and saw the new nodes. i actually didn't realize the new subs were running concurrently with the older two subs until after i made a pass through both. i thought it was some kind of glitch but figured i might as well have at them and boy oh boy was it a rough ride!

i was bouncing back and forth between the subs trying to pick off the point heaviest nodes in each in an attempt to catch numbers one and two in my bracket and ended up losing four of my top guns (including Spidey and Punisher lol) and leaving the rest of my pve team heavily damaged. This is MPQ! haha (Actually, i feel kinda bad for my team considering all the abuse they have been taking in this tournament. i should learn to play smarter!)

Anyway, i'm sitting at #4 in my bracket with 1 and 2 still ahead by 10,000 points. ZeroWkrad and QuantumLeaper i don't know how you two do it but i gotta admit that is some impressive grinding skills you've got.

now back to ISO farming and Hulk hunting! (ノ^∇^)ノ (After a little break haha)

Why can't the free hulk be black for once? I mean, that hulk was literally the only reason for any sane member of a sentient species to participate in this event. No cover, not even fury, is worth the bloodbath for the top 10, psylocke isn't that good, and the hulk only has one really useful color. Give us something to work with here.

His green is okay it's just that there's a lot of better green skills around so it suffers by comparison.

"...and another thing vonnegut," whoever designed this pve format doesn't know the first thing about designing pve's. Seriously, with all the progress mpq had been making on pve's, how in the heck did we end up with this huge mess?

Yes, but some thought process led this this as opposed to say a heroic pve or simulator pve that could have been done in a proper fashion as opposed to this cluster tiny kitty. So, I'll ask again, how the heck did this mess come about.

Besides, it's more of a theoretical question. I think it's previous obvious, this was not their "best" idea ever.

I'm currently in the top 1 of my braket with around 33k points, and I expect to finish in the top 10 at least. I'm looking for an alliance to join at least till the end of the event so I can get a blue psylock cover! Let me know if you can use me... thanks!

I'm pretty sure this is about the worst idea they've ever had. For all the complaints about bad PvEs the only one that has been more disasterous has been the mid-event points shift in whichever event that was.

'****, we wanted to start putting Fury into the prize rotation for the 1300 cover in the first PVP for season 5.
There's only 4 days left and everyone is too busy doing stuff to design new missions for the simulator PVE. Heroics is too short, we don't want to run two back to back, too many Fury covers would be given out that way.'
'Hmm. Let's run a normal PVE in half the time then?''
'Brilliant! Let's run Hulk!'
'But doesn't that have too many subs to be crammed into 3 days?'
'Yeah, but we'll just make rubberbanding extremely weak to even it out!'

I mean, what's not to be liked, right?

I don't care if I'm top 10 right now, I'm done with this tinykitty pve.

Community scaling drove up the nodes 50 levels whilst sleeping, even when I purposely tanked my roster last night. What's even more irritating is the lone one star roster sitting top 5, probably picking their nose wondering why everyone is claiming this is so hard because "it's so easy!"

No, one star, you don't need the Fury cover.

Well it could be said I don't Need Fury either and I have a number of maxed out 3*. It is not like I am getting the 450K ISO to level him any time soon. I seem to have extended my buffer over 10th position hmm might finish with a cover after all.

Haha a few PvEs ago I was going to nicely fall down to 3rd to let some other people grab some rewards then I looked at 3rd saw it was a tinnykity 2* roster and decided to keep my foot on the gas so Top2 would at least go to 2 roughly equal 3* rosters. That extra 1000 ISO for Baglady was much appreciated.

Do we get anything besides the hulk now from this pve ? Or just whatever from scores ..I forgot and there's those bomb pieces or whatever and Idr doing that lol .

Those Ragnarok + 2 Sniper nodes are pretty insane. He gets 2 Godlike Power every 3 turns for free on top of still getting all the Deadly Shots, and realistically it's more like after turn 5 he does a Godlike Power every turn because he'd never run out of green AP from the cascades created by Godlike Power plus whatever green AP he picked up.

For Nick Fury, they'd have to be very stupid to offer him as a prize for 1300 progression or even as #1 for finishing PvP. He'd probably show up on a buy-off event in PvP, but putting him on a regular PvP event is the same as throwing away money. The only guys who can win him in PvP are the guys who already spends a lot of money for no reason whatsoever and if people are spending money for no reason, you might as well keep collecting the money. PvE is different because PvE is relatively not P2W, so you can say maybe people will get interested enough in a PvE event for Fury to end up spending more money (on boosts/health packs, perhaps).

I'm getting destroyed because he literally does thunderclap and god like power every turn.

It's kept me from doing most of the second set of nodes so I dropped to third and I think the first two spots might be out of reach now

This is worst that pairing with Thor/w green feeders. Rags shakes up the board almost everygodamn turn.

There's nothing clever about the Ragnarok + 2 green feeders that don't even have a green consuming abilities. Just try to put the biggest and cheapest combo you can before you get overwhelmed by taking a Godlike Power every turn. With the normal green feeders, there's a slim chance that the AI will use the goon's ability so you can get lucky. Deadly Shot takes 0 AP to fire, so no such luck is even possible. I don't think I'm touching that node on the subsequent clears unless I'm sitting on 5 health packs after all the other nodes are done.

On another note, I find that Spiderman is useful in taking Headbutts. You say character that regen are better at withstanding damage? Sure, but I actually need Daken to stay alive whereas I sure don't need Spiderman alive except for the nodes he's required.
