    100HP worth? Try 400 HP worth, and that's assuming you had the 5 to begin with.

    What prologue was very useful for was the quick "I'm only 1500 HP down; it's not worth a health pack" runs. The loss of prologue healing means that you have to use health packs in borderline situations or wipe out more often; either situation drains health packs faster. I did prologue healing runs in the last ten minutes of PVEs to keep placement and had it work fine. Not frequently, but it was helpful knowing it was there, and that I had that option in a pinch if the match went south.
    Oh, whoops, I thought packs were 50 for 5? You can tell how often I've bought them icon_lol.gif

    Not just simulator, everywhere. Hollowpoint I see Thor/Storm constantly, since you can't steal (OBW not allowed) and Storm's blue or Thor's green won't necessarily wipe your roster, but it will make them unplayable for many hours. I never see Bagman/Cap/Bullseye, and rarely do I see Daken/Moonstone/Magneto. See a theme? Same rosters, same play. I almost see exclusively Thor/Ares/Wolverine/Storm. I'm sure OBW will be added to that next event...just like it always was. No difference in play from two days ago, except I can't play as much : I go Mag/Storm, Wolv/Daken (or Moonstone), Thor/Ares...and, I'm done. All those teams are going to have to recover for the next four hours. Great.

    And play has been ridiculous. I watch opponent get really lucky cascades, and just sadly shake my head thinking "there goes any chances of playing again for the next four hours". I shoot off specials immediately, hoping it saves a few precious health points, rather than waiting for strategic times.

    I was only 700 points short of the S3 5K, and I'm honestly not sure how to get them. There is no way possible to both PVP and PVE anymore. I'll attempt to get that 5K, pray for a repeal of this ridiculous change that only hurt the mid-range teams (who are already dropping like flies, and will continue to--no way to get to late game anymore), and quit after S3 if I can stand to play two more weeks.

    I don't know how many threads I've read today where folks said "used up all my health packs to grind to the end of PVE"....NOW is when the hate is really going to start from all sides. Folks will be out of health packs and have no chance to play without pay.

    As I could not count on CS to handle refund, I asked Google via their interface for this. They made the refund in the next hours.

    D3/demiurge, you can take back the HP, I didn't even had the time to spend it between the sales and this mess. Never again I will buy something from you games, as I will never know if I can play at my own pace the day after my purchase.

    I liked their reward structure change in HP (less for top 100/50, more in progression rewards).

    FOOL! Of course that was a bad change! Now I can't top 50 or 100, and now I can't hit the progression rewards anymore either since I can't grind up the points. HP became much more rare/difficult to come by for me.

    They are trying to extort as much money as possible from the cash cows, it's just that.
    Players who usually play without spending money are considered as freeloaders. Now they probably will leave the game and there will be less fun for all.

    Instead of fixing healing the developers should have fixed pvp brackets. one for people with an intensive 3*/ 2* max level characters. and another with people who don't have as many usable 3* and 2*/1* roster. if they want diversity; they should first make it an even field. before healing was disabled it was impossible to place when you have under level 100 characters and in a "bracket of death" where you had to get over 1000 points to get to the top 10; with "true healing" i doubt making top 50 will be possible since the lower tiered player won't have as many options to gain points as the top tiered players would have unless you buy lots of health packs to play longer than 3 matches cause if you use any team other than your "A" team you will lose any points gained, cause you have daken/bullseye team with a loaner. so in other words in pvp, people who need 3* transition covers won't be able to move up, while people who have fully covered 3*'s would just sell non usable covers they mostly want to place just for hero points and iso. and if you wanted to get rid of prologue healing, then exiting a battle you should have your health full. and if your character die then you should use a health pack to revive them, but that will totally nix your grand plan of having people buying health packs just to heal. but would foster people wanting to play longer and invest time/money into your game. if your wanted people to use diverse rosters to play, it would be a great idea if everyone had over 25 playable characters; but if your options are handful "true healing" devistated a person's ability to compete in PvP.

    as for PvE, diversity is abundant cause you use what you have to play best you can for a particular node; scaling will deal with max level rosters. and if you have a limited roster like a heroic then, you have to play the cards your dealt. "true healing" totally messes a person ability gain points; cause if you have a limited roster and if there was a super AI cascade, before "true healing" you can retreat, heal up and go again. now if you wipe or retreat either way you are going to lose health and probably use heath packs on all your characters. but i guess that is another way to gain money from health packs. which causes playing time to be reduce cause you can't play unless you pay or wait hours to revive in which time you are thousands of points behind. if you read this or not i doubt things will ever go back to the way it was cause greed will always trump common sense and most people will stop playing cause the risk reward ratio isn't worth time/ money.
  • I think they've decided to raise their Average Revenue Per Daily Active User by drastically reducing the number of Daily Active Users. That's one way to raise an average, I guess.

    Upcoming Feature: Double Edged Sword Discussion

    Next change on the board, all match and ability damage now goes against both teams! This will promote roster diversity and will allow the players to play on their own schedules. On a side note, healthpacks have been capped at 2 and will regenerate once per 72 hours.

    Do I understand correctly that the basically useless "Hot Dog Stand" has now been nerfed to the point of completely useless?

    All I know is that I wasn't a Prologue Healer, but I never bothered with HDS anyway. The 50 points were relatively useless to my characters. I usually took way more than 50 points collecting the environment tiles. icon_lol.gif

I was pretty pissed off when they announced this, and I still think it's worse for the 2* players yet to make the transition to a team of lv100+ 3* characters, but after playing for a day with True Healing I'm fine with it. It's making me a better player as I don't have the crutch of OBW to lean on anymore. I'm choosing my teams better, planning for events better, making my match choices better, and using my abilities better.

    So there. If you want to hate on someone, hate on me because I'm the guy saying that I was wrong and so are all of you haters. Now **** off and stop being total **** about it and play the **** game already.

    I don't deny that, but at the same time I didn't buy any health packs because of it yet and it doesn't look like I'll have to at all.

    After a day of getting to play with this and realizing that it's actually made the game much harder for me to play and be competitive I'm just going to move on. The hill to get the three star cards I needs just keeps getting steeper and steeper to the point that's it's more frustrating than fun. First they dropped the featured hero cover percent from 22% to 6% then again to 4%, being stuck in MMR hell, and now it just feels like i'm being punished because I don't play 3 and 4 star characters and the only thing keeping me able to make up those scores were prologue healing. They presume to tell me what makes the game fun, when they clearly have no idea what makes their own game fun. Take a look at the ratings on the app store by recent, lots and lots of 1 star reviews.
