Updates to Earning Supports
Hi Everyone,In this update, we’ll be introducing new ways for players to obtain more Supports at a more consistent rate. These changes will be going live on Monday, 1/28/19. *New Update*
There’s going to be a lot of changes and additions coming up, so instead of dumping a whole bunch of information in one potentially-overwhelming go, we’re going to introduce a brief outline early on of what’s to come. Everyone will probably have some questions before then too, so the extra few days will give us more time to track down and compile those answers.
These changes to how we’re giving players access to Supports were born from listening to your feedback. Marvel Puzzle Quest is a living, breathing game, one that grows and changes in response to the people playing it, and this update is no exception. How players engage with Support Circuit and what you’re saying will definitely inform how we adjust or revamp it going forward. So, please continue to share your thoughts - we’ll listen closely.
Without further ado though, check out the outline below for the update on earning Supports:
Quick Overview
- New Weekly Supports Event
- New Supports-Focused Vault
- Revamping Supports Store
- Adjusting Supports Store Odds
- Adjusting Red Iso-8 From Duplicates
- New Pre-Rotation Store and Vault
- Updating Bundle Offers
New Event - Support Circuit
We want to give players a way to earn Supports on a more consistent basis. With that goal in mind, we’re introducing the new weekly Support Circuit event. This event is designed for players who want to improve and continue to build their collection of Supports.Here are the details:
- Weekly, 24 Hour Long PVE event
- There are 4 different Support Circuit events, each featuring a different combination of Minions and enemies.
- Available only to players who have completed the Supports tutorial after acquiring a 3, 4 or 5-Star character
- Each Support Circuit event awards tokens to new 4-week long Support Circuit Vault
- Also awards tokens to Support Store in Placement
New Supports-Focused Vault
Alongside each 4-week rotation of the Support Circuit event, we’re launching a new Supports Circuit Vault. While this Vault does contain covers and Iso-8, it is primarily focused on Supports, with 6 Supports and 24 Support Tokens for players to earn. Tokens to this Vault can be earned in each week’s Support Circuit event- Duration: 4 Weeks
- 240 Item Vault, Resettable
- Contains Supports, Support Store Tokens, Red Iso-8, Iso-8, 4-Star Cover, 3-Star Covers, and 2-Star Covers
*New Update*

One important thing to note about this new Vault - unlike a lot of our other Event-based Vaults, which end and come back later with any unopened Vault tokens preserved, each 4-week long Support Circuit is unique. Like any Stockpiled tokens, players can still redeem unopened Vault tokens after the 4 week period ends, but those tokens will not carry over to the next Support Circuit vault.
Revamping Supports Store
With more Supports being added to the game, we want to include them in the Support store, while still making sure players have a way to earn the Support they want. To do this, we’re revamping the Support store to focus on 16 Supports, and rotating those 16 Supports every 5 weeks.By limiting the number of Supports in the store, we hope players can earn the Support they want much easier than before. In fact, in some cases players may only need to open half as many tokens to get a specific Support compared to before! Don’t worry though. If you find yourself wanting to pull from the entire catalog of Supports, there will still be a Supports store containing every Support released that becomes available prior to the next rotation.
- Duration: 4 Weeks
- Only 16 Supports available at a time
- The Supports featured in the store will rotate every 5 weeks
- New Supports added to the store during these rotations
Adjusting Supports Store Odds
In addition to giving out more tokens to the Support Store, and letting players focus on the Support they want, we want to give players a chance to more easily get higher Rank Supports. So, as well as changing the Support Store contents, we’ve adjusted the odds of each token as well.*New Update*

- Lower chance of Rank 1 and 2 Supports
- Higher chance of Rank 3 Supports
- Now has a chance to award Rank 4 Supports
Advanced Support Tokens
- No change for Rank 2 Supports
- Lower chance of Rank 3 Supports
- Higher chance of Rank 4 Supports
- Now has a chance to award Rank 5 Supports
Master Support Tokens
- Now has a chance to award Rank 3 Supports
- Lower chance of Rank 4 Supports
- Lower chance of Rank 5 Supports
Adjusting Red Iso-8 From Duplicates
As a result of increasing the ability to target specific Supports, that will inevitably mean players receive more duplicates than before. In order to balance that, we’ll be lowering the amount of Red Iso-8 rewarded from earning a duplicate Supports.- 1-Star Support: 1,400 -> 840
- 2-Star Support: 7,000 -> 4,200
- 3-Star Support: 12,000 -> 7,200
- 4-Star Support: 16,000 -> 9,600
- 5-Star Support: 24,000 -> 14,400
Pre-Rotation Store & Vault
Between each 4-week block of the Support Circuit Event and before the next Supports Store rotation occurs, we’ll give players access to a different Support Store and new Supports-focused Vault. This store has the same odds and structure as the regular Store listed above, but instead contains every released Support. To go along with this, there will also be a discounted, 80 item Vault. Similar to the Off-Season Heroic Store, this Vault offers no Daily Deal, but each pull will be discounted.*New Update*

Updating Bundle Offers
With each Support we’ve released in the past, we’ve offered two different bundles. While we won’t be making any changes to the 4800 Hero Points offer, we’ll be making a few tweaks to the 250 Command Point bundle.- Red Iso-8: 100,000 -> 60,000
- Master Support Tokens: 1 -> 2
- Advanced Support Tokens: 3 -> 4

Also the circuit event, is that going to act similar to DPD?
Thank you for listening to us.
Support Circuit is kind of like Deadpool Daily, yes. However, it runs one day a week while DDQ runs every day. Support Circuit is also a placement event while DDQ is solo. Both have progression rewards in either case.
Tony_Foot said: This is in addition to regular PVE.
The supports available will cycle through available and new supports. Nothing is preventing us from putting Infinity Gems there, but I wouldn't expect to see them up in the near future.
This kind of improvement deserves spending some money on!
Looks like they will not access the new stores, and the dupes I get from them will at least be worth a bit more Red Iso-8 before the update.
Stored tokens will be unchanged and will use the newer dupe Iso rates once that's adjusted.
Is there a precedent for 24 hour placement PvE events?
