This looks... really good, at first glance. We'll obviously need to chew through it, and see the finer details, but as bad as things have been, this certainly looks like it's trying to fix things (earnestly, not just in a "so players stop complaining" kind of way, but like the devs want it to work as bad as we do, and that's a good thing even if it isn't quite 100% of the way there yet, you know?)
I like the idea of a rotation. We've suggested it before to help with Character dilution, both with 4*s and 5*s (how many people were praising the Goblin/Spidey/GhostRider token solely for giving a shot at some classic 5's?). If it works for Supports, that's awesome. Maybe it'll drift over to characters eventually. Even if it doesn't, adding some cycling variety to the game is a good thing.
So, do we hold off on questions because we know more detailed info is coming? Or do we ask questions so they can make sure they're answered in future detailed posts (or just answer them directly, if that's what's needed)?
Let's go ahead and get the thoughts out, even if it gets addressed in a future post, so we can save ourselves time.
Support Circuit: So 4 weeks long (with an attached Vault), with one event each week, with each event having different enemy groupings. Unknown how the "one 24 hour event a week" works. Is it the same day every week? Are there time slices like other PVE events (since it does have placement, apparently)? Or is it more like the Crash events where you can do it any time during that window? That's a big question.
Support Circuit Vault: Big vault, lasts 4 weeks, but they'll be fresh each time so no point in hoarding tokens. Good handful of Support tokens and Red ISO along with other in-game resources you'd expect, looks kinda normal. But that says it contains outright SUPPORTS too, so we can chase specific ones in the vault if wanted? Big win there, I think. The rank of those Supports will matter, but if you want one very specific support and it's in your vault, you have a guaranteed way to get it, even if it takes you all 240 pulls to get it. And I assume the Support Circuit will provide tokens for this vault? Right, it does, I see that. All good. It looks like a very "MPQ way to handle things." Event, Event Tokens, Vault, all things we're familiar with, but with specific Supports in the vault, which is a direct improvement. I like it.
Revamping Support Store: Stores last 5 weeks, only have a certain number of Supports in them, the specific ones will rotate, so you have better odds of any given support, and can chase specific groupings. All good. Sounds like between Circuits we'll be able to go for the full store, with everything available, so you don't have to wait several circuits for a Support to "come back" if you don't want to (though you'd have better odds if you did wait, really). Guaranteed cycle for when new supports join the full store, that's another MAJOR improvement.
Adjusting Supports Store Odds: Basic can now give 4's with better odds of 3's, Advanced can now give 5's with better odds of 4's, Master's can now give 3's at the cost of 4s/5s, but will be more available going forward. Bravo if it works in getting players more higher ranked supports. But you say "we're awarding more" in regards to Master support tokens, when so far they've been teased at best (via bundles and vaults), so all I have to say to that is "anything is MORE than zero," and you don't get a high five finally making it to the starting line. It's an improvement, but (and this is still depending on the rest of the details), this is just now reaching "minimum acceptable standards", so to speak, and high fives are reserved for moving past that.
Red ISO-8 from Duplicates: Oh look at that. Just like we told you when you increased these values, if you'd just make the stupid Supports available, it wouldn't need to be so high in the first place, and you should have just made tokens available then and you wouldn't have needed to tinker with these numbers in the first place. Glad to see the devs are picking up on what the players realized months and months ago. Shouldn't have taken this long, but us all being on the same page is an improvement.
Pre-Rotation Store and Vault are basically "Supports Off-Season" (or "Off-Circuit" is probably more accurate terminology). And gives a chance to chase any Support every few weeks, even if they don't go on Circuit for several months (depending on how many Supports we have).
Bundle updates are nice. It's mainly for new Supports, and it's not something I think many chase anyway, but increasing the number of tokens (and thus odds of getting the new support from the bundle) is a good thing. I might suggest looking at those odds more closely for the 4x boost or whatever for the new support, because dilution already makes it lackluster, and I'd hate for the increase in tokens to feel negligible because of dilution, you know?
The only thing I can think of that isn't addressed is the Infinity Stones. Will they be part of the 16? Or part of the Pre-Rotation Store between Circuits?
Further questions I can see being answered in more detailed posts going forward. Like how the Circuits actually work, when they cycle (I hope they're offset from seasons, so we don't have "off-season" and "between Circuits" as "ultra dead time" every five weeks or so).
Ultimately, it feels like the Devs want this to work as bad as we do, and that's a good thing, even if the details still need ironing out. Regardless of what the rest of the details are, this sounds like something I'm willing to try out and work on, rather than just another something that's busted. Maybe they can iron the kinks out and start working on Costumes so those are reasonable come next Anniversary.9 -
2nd vote on easier way to see which supports attached to which character. Placement? Yay?1

With supports becoming more readily available, I'm among those hoping for a change that makes it easier to see which supports are equipped to which characters.

With the circuit PVE be like current PVE where you need to clear each node 4 times before the timer goes down and 6 times total to get green check marks so basically he way a PVE sub works now? Also will their be slices like PVE or just 24 hours like DPDQ?0

Regarding this statement:Like any Stockpiled tokens, players can still redeem unopened Vault tokens after the 4 week period ends, but those tokens will not carry over to the next Support Circuit vault.
Can you clarify if it means unopened Vault tokens will be forfeited when the next Support Circuit vault opens or they will remain in your pile forever (just not carried over)? IOW, you could have unopened Vault tokens hoarded for Support Circuit vault 1, 2, 3, etc.0 -
For the 24 hour PVE
Will there be time slices? Clearance levels?1 -

New Event - Support Circuit
Will the enemy teams have Supports attached to them?New Supports-Focused Vault
30/240 items are Supports or Support Tokens. This represents a 100% increase in support availability in the vault. 1/8 represents 12.5%.Adjusting Supports Store Odds
Master Support received a nerf. It was a guaranteed Rank 4 and now it's a guaranteed Rank 3 or better. The interesting thing are the odds. What are those odds?

Will the normal pve vaults still have Beginner tokens in them? And will those tokens pull from the standard 18, the Focused 16, or all 42 Supports?0

The good news is build more events that cater to the quirks in supports. Supports have weird modifiers that are over powered and inappropriate for pvp style play. So it makes sense to have a new game "circuit" that caters to those differences. I hope that these support events have a "STRONGER" puzzle focus vs speed over defeat overwhelming health.
Its in these "support" events that we should encounter snowball CDs and geyser Cds etc...
Something needs to be done about existing support token hoards. People have built up sizable hoards of tokens, for the simple fact they already have the underlying support. Are you really just saying those tokens are gonna be orphaned and converted to RISO? I suppose it is what it is, an honest translation of current worth, but it doesn't seem very player friendly at all.

What are those odds? It'll be interesting to see what the overall chance of receiving rank 5 supports is with all the changes: both increased availability of advanced and master tokens, combined with the reduced odds from master tokens.0

Well this is what what people have been asking for (sort of): more and better ways to get supports. For that, I'm happy, really. The new 'support circuit' sounds interesting, and rotating stores and vaults that are always available seem good too.The one that made me go "hmmmmm...." is this bit:"New Supports Circuit Vault". While this Vault does contain covers and Iso-8, it is primarily focused on Supports, with 6 Supports and 24 Support Tokens for players to earn [...]
- 240 Item Vault, Resettable
So, the vault that is "primarily focused on supports" only consists of 1.25% supports. That's.... less exciting.Edit: actually 12.5%! Derp. Thanks for checking my math Spatenfloot.1 -
So I have 42 support tokens, 3 wakanda supports tokens, and 5 was gauntlet support tokens the only difference between pulling now and later would be the dupe red iso proces, is that correct0

Been asked already by someone else but what will the times be for this PVE ?
I am assuming it will be like most PVE with clearance levels?0
