Does he have a better than normal crit multiplier or anything? His crit multiplier is 4.2. I also just champed 2star daken to 5 along with him and daken's is 4.0
I don't have any other 2a5 yet to see how that compares to the rest of them.
FYI: As a 4, his crit multiplier is 4.2 as well.

If you're like me, you've been waiting for these 2 (all powers at 5):
2-5 Headpool level 454
Health: 51,415
Black (passive): When dealing match damage, heal 200% of damage done and gain 30% bonus match damage.
- Pink (passive): Start of turn create a red trap tile that deals 22,953 when YOUR team causes it to leave the board.
- Red (6AP): Deal 18,548 damage and create a red attack tile with strength equal to Headpool's current average match damage (including bonus damage).
3-5 Devpool level 450
Health: 72,645
Yella:
6AP: Deal 9,936 to target plus 18% damage they've done that battle
Passive: When he uses an ability, heal team for 1,264 and give 1APGreen:
6AP: Cast random ability from below:
- Send target away for 4-6 turns
- Make your abilities 1 cheaper and enemies 1 more expensive
- Create multiple 2-turn countdowns that: that heal you for 3,918 OR damage enemy for 3,918 OR fire a random ability.
Passive: Recover health 100 times faster out of battle
- Pink:
8AP: Reduce chosen enemy max health and damage by 18% or buff a chosen teammates by 18%
Passive: Get every affiliation
Also just in case:
3-4 Namor has roughly 21k health at level 320. His black still only costs 5 and the percentage damage to random enemy is still 125.All info pulled from 1st commander in Variants of Time; thanks for the crazy roster.
4 -
Many thanks to @meteor0905 for the massive swap on to Namor!
3-5 Namor level 537
- Health: 158,750
Black:
5AP: Create a crit tile on basic or team up tiles. Less good "burst" heal 11,141 health if created in bottom 5 rows.
Passive: Namor slaps a rando for 125% match damage done in the bottom 5 rows.Red:
8AP: Destroy a target row and deal 6,963 team damage, increased by 100% for every blue or fishy countdown (introduced below) tile pooped on
Passive: Start of turn, convert a random basic or team up tile in the bottom 5 rows to blue (Get it? It's like the bottom 5 rows are the oceeeean... but, the sky is also blue, so... this doesn't make sense, just avoid this character)Green:
5AP: Convert 4 basic blue tiles to 3-turn countdowns that eat all surrounding tiles when they expire (eating is the fish equivalent of destroying, you don't keep them ships).
Passive: On battle start, create 3 of those fishy countdowns mentioned above, except the countdown on these is 4, instead of 3, because they want OmegaSpores to stick around a little bit longer (healthpacks). HOWEVER! Whenever the enemy makes a match in the bottom 4 rows (slightly deeper in the metaphorical ocean, if you were paying attention) reduce all of these fishy countdowns by 1.
Clearly he is amazing, and true to his name, Meteor will crush you with his diamond plated Namor when he sees you in que.

I fully expected this. It starts at 12 when he's a 2 star and only drops as a perk of ascending to 3 and 4 star. Once he's a 5 star he has 5 star match damage on top of his passive that boosts his match damage. He would be pretty nuts if his purple was 9ap and you could fire it immediately with boosts and supports.
Even at 12 if you have widows baton and quantum realm support, if both go off you have 10 purple. Bring a b/p boost and there's a pretty good chance you're firing it turn 0

How is that handled with Main Event Hulk? At 5* gamma powerbomb costs 14, I don’t recall the 4* number

Actually both those supports give 6ap, so if you have them both you can cast the 5* version turn0 without boosts.
The difference between 9 and 12 isn't nearly as big as between, say, 6 and 9. To get to 9 with no boosts, you need both purple supports to fire, which gets you to 12 anyway.

Mine only give 5, it must go up when you level them up to rank 5?

Yep, at rank 5 they go to 6AP, and the percentage goes to 80%.

And you wonder why everyone is using Leapfrog in the PvP Supports Feedback thread
No one wants to be Gamma Powerbombed or Star Unibeamed on turn 1.

OR! You just bring 1 star Spidy, have lower percentage chance at doing nothing and throw his pink twice if you get it. You'll be buffed more regularly, quite a bit better on defense and won't look as silly as playing war machine.

I kept getting crushed by Polaris-cascade teams in the Sentry PvP, so I was trying different stuff, and subbed Silver Samurai into the non-Polaris slot.
He's...really good? I can't figure out what's happening -- he claims to have a 30% chance to dodge and counterattack but it seems to happen WAY more often, and with Polaris strikes out it hits HARD. The Polaris teams rely on doing a ton of hits, so his counterattacks can really shred her. His red is also quite good against those teams. Base level 480, boosted to 599.

I definitely play my spidey when he's boosted to 672, but when hes 550 and war machine is boosted up over him I'll have that option. He doesn't look silly when he's boosted, I've seen a few in pvp.

I don't wonder. They use it for the same reason I have to. Either use it or be an extra big target because you're one of the people not using it. Same reason you needed to run chasm before he was nerfed, or bishop before that, or gambit before that.

Very solid numbers when boosted.
If you had his Yellow CD out the block chance would be up to 65% (+35).

Aha! That makes sense. The yellow is so cheap I'd cast it all the time to protect my Polaris. I also think the sheer number of hits Polaris does probably made it feel like it was triggering a ton.
Also, for some reason he's an Archer, so I had him carrying the even-better version of Eros Arrow. It worked well against the 672 Polaris/x teams (my Polaris is like 500 pre boost).

Just finished now, lvl450 no boost. Looks like his percentages stay the same? I'm pretty pumped for this one.
3 -
That was fast, thanks for posting. Those percentages are definitely not the same, but he is probably still pretty good.
The ally damage buff on black was cut in half (basically) at 60% and his bread and butter (pink) dropped from 21% to 13, while also reducing the stun from 3 to 2.
What is his health at though? Might still be worth keeping him max 4 star if his health is too high to take advantage of his pink.
