If you were playing right from the start, having about a dozen 141 3* covers and almost everyone except MoStorm, Sentry and Fury at full covers is entirely possible. It actually becomes more likely, because you were able to milk LRs, get 'first completion' bonuses on PvE, sell 3* covers for HP, and possibly place well in one of the two Elite tourneys, meaning you might have been able to become an HP cow (all of the preceding, cumulatively, would have made the game even easier for you since you were difficult to assault).

The game is much harder now, as all of the aforementioned are gone, and any tiddlywink can now scrounge up 3 3*s pretty quickly and assault anyone else with relative ease.

I started end of November (as I recall) and have bought the lowest HP pack either twice or three times. No more than that, and that being because I was worried about 'losing' covers since I had no slots left (silly silly silly--it was really critical for me to keep Yelena active for so long). You can check out my relative roster strength as a reference point of a regular, effectively F2P player over an approximately six month period (albeit one who missed a lot of the early advantages, and tends to spread ISO across all characters).

Man I don't remember which was the first pve. The fact I know it didn't start out with events and it was one giant sim with everyone says I was there. Hell I was playing war of heroes and battle of the atom in top alliances in both too. Not like I could recall everything from events while maintaining three games at a good lvl

Alright well everyone is catching on to your lies so I can stop replying now. Just for future reference don't call out anyone in shield especially the best long standing members and someone like me from 5dv who has paid $75 worked my **** off to get where I am with my roster and my scores. Please keep playing f2w (fail to win) you know bc u pay money but still don't put up anything impressive. Have a good day/night

There's a difference between just being there at the beginning and being there and playing your balls off since then (figurative, all hail reckless)

I think the main reason people are disagreeing with this person is bc 1) he's wrong and 2) bc most of us have gotten more covers than he has in his roster in the last month... While trying about 80% as hard as we did season 1

Yep, in the good old days of 500HP rewards, we were the ones jumping out to early leads and 5DV smartly targeted and sniped us as the highest point targets available. It was not uncommon to get as many as 6-8 attacks after reshielding. Once in a blue moon we'd land a defensive win and it was a nice little 25 pt. windfall here or there (maybe once or twice a tourney) but 100 pts. per shield? That's a ridiculous claim.

I was in Naz's bracket in the last PvP, and saw the shielding/unshielding going on. His score was not rising by 100 points during shielded periods (it rarely rose if ever during these times, just like for every other MPQ player that shield hops). It's ok that you spend a bunch on shields, x-men. We used up a bunch of our earned HP stockpiles during season 1. I respect your decision to do so. But please don't pretend that there's some magic to it. It doesn't take an IQ of Naz's prodigious stature to watch a leaderboard and see how it goes down.

Also, I've spent $100 total on this game since I started late Oct. last year, with perhaps $20 of that on ISO (my biggest MPQ regret, probably) and like Beee I have 12 max 3*s and a max IW to go with them. There's no magic strategy or secret sauce to that either - I played tons of MPQ (I LRs - WHERE ARE YOU I NEED YOU!). I am not better than anyone else in this game for having done so, nor did I pay to get it - I am simply a degenerate ISO farmer.
