And that's why I'm spending money cause I don't wanna have to work as hard. And I moved to X-men with flo and gypsy from our old alliance DMZ disco mob. It's simple they spend and play hard and use strategy. You guys can whine, report or what ever else you want to do. They will keep scoring and nothing will be done. Nothing can be because there is no cheating. If the debs decide to stop selling covers and shields will be about the only way. And I doubt that will happen.0

Some spend more than others but we all over achieve given our rosters due to strategy. Look at my roster and what I score. I spend $100 every couple weeks to upgrade and have shields and the rest is strategy0

Wow, more people still read the forums than I'd have thought. Wierd rosters could be from spending too much money. At least, that's what I'd have thought if they didn't all act guilty, other than Psy. The rest of the alliance should probably stop posting alltogether and let him handle PR.
Anyway, best thread in a while, good work everybody.0 -

That said, I think this would be a much more productive. Thread if there wasn't blatant bashing of the 5DV. Guys and thumbs down given to all of Naz's posts. There is obviously a reason why there are questions about the integrity of certain players, and if you can deal with those questions without resorting to childish name calling and negativity it would certainly cause any rational person to think more carefully about your argument.
I can't agree with you more, buy you need the full story. I can't even post anything on the forums without someone giving me 3 negative rep for a recruit post. Not to mention the countless swarms of harassing posts by 5DV. Not to mention the stupid in boxed messages I received from them. At this point I don't care what I say anymore. 2 other people fall into that as well the unwise one and arktos1971, to me just very annoying stalkers imo. I just wish people would leave us alone, but that's like Prince Charles wanting to be left alone. It's not happening. It's like when Kanye West beat the hell out of the camera guy, it's not just the one guy the one time it's all the guys all the time. Then the media wants to expose Kanye as a monster. Well dam if you didn't provoke him and just let him live his life then you wouldn't have got knocked the tinykitty out.
Imma let you finish but spending $10 to win $1 is the best strategy of all time !!!0 -
They don't sell covers, they sell tokens but hey. Sorry to correct you however your point around developing your roster how will you do that if you spend all your money on shields and boosts then your ISO on boosts and skips. I don't tend to see many xmen take part in LRS either so do you also buy ISO. Not criticising but that seems a lot. Personally I took the slow route to the top and I consider myself to still be there when I can get motivated so fail to get the win at all cost mentality ahead of roster development but hey that's just my view.0

I guess that's where we are different - even if all that was going on and I was on the receiving end of it, I wouldn't start calling the alliance as a whole any names. . Like I said, I know a lot of the 5D guys and like them - they were always nice to me. If it's true you are being put on blast pretty regularly, that sucks but I fail to see how responding with childish insults is helpful to your cause in any way.
To each his own. I don't know you so I'm not hating on you, and I don't play with the big dogs anymore so I'm not judging your Alliance. Just saying it seems like your approach is counterproductive.
You got to live it to understand it..0 -

Psyko is EASILY the best pr man in the biz. I think we can all agree on that.0 -

1) Xmen have several rosters that seem suspect & all of those people conveniently are not on this board & apparently are being told to stay away (read above no need to quote)
2) Unlimited HP can let anyone win. Using both multi color boosts & another +3 boost, skipping any & everyone, health packs for in between
3) People who pay to play & have suspect rosters could be using an iap hack. I have seen these before in online games. They cheat the game makers & game players both. If that is the case, those accounts should probably be outright banned on steam/ios/android/etc
4) All attempts to ask for an explanation of point 1 can be are met with "we play better" (no explanation) or "some people pay" (that is fine, still doesn't explain shady rosters) or "we won before, so duh" (what does that have to do with this)
5) all the extraneous name calling is unnecessary & everyone is to blame for that (that is just how it goes I guess)
6) Multiple accounts from one person goes against the terms of agreement for nearly 100% of online games & all those accounts should be banned. Checking the credit card accounts attached to each account is easy for the dev team. They can check the names & addresses on the accounts. The same names or addresses would be bad. additionally exclusively gift cards would be a red flag (could be covering up shady stuff)
That said, if everything is above board, then props to those players. But as Jozier, Nemek, datKrow & several others said, they sniffed out several shady players last season & they recently got tossed. My season 2 bracket is down to 4995 players. 5 players got tossed for cheating including at least one top 10 finisher. So it will be interesting to see what happens. If cheaters are in fact caught, their respective alliance scores should drop retroactively too, which obviously should deter alliance from taking shady players
Any1 that "they caught" of cheating could have just as easily been caught with a customer support ticket.
If d3 has any sense the entire top 10 alliances would be scanned for cheaters every tourney.
Really? Your great idea is that if someone is using their credit card to fund 2 accounts is to ban 1 and get the user to stop spending on either? Lol?
So reporting is fine and I'm sure people are submitting reports that ask the Devs to look at some of these rosters/spending patterns. But I think the hope is that a public thread forces the Devs to act more quickly than cheating reports alone. If my thread about gbr33 last month had not been locked, maybe he would have been sandboxed earlier.0 -
To the above lol. Yes they sell cover open a cover you own. You will see you can add the covers you need to get it to 5 with coins. They sell coins. You buy coins. Buy the covers. A.k.a buy covers0

Have you considered that if you're spending $100 every couple weeks and that score/roster is all you have to show for it your strategy actually really really sucks?0 -

Haha why would anyone be impressed by this? You just said you are paying to win. Bc your strategy is shield hopping which you are using your money for. You can get 1500 and I wouldn't be impressed. You guys gotta realize at some point it doesn't take much skill to get a good score bc your paying for it. Paying for things means nothing. It's like your the kid who received a bunch of money from a will. Your spoiled no one likes you or respects you. Instead you just have money. People worked for their roster. So don't say you work harder and play harder than us when u just said u spent money on ur roster so u don't have to work as hard.0 -
Chimaera wrote:KevinMark wrote:I agree with Psychopathic completely. This thread shouldn't have been stickied and no player that has been mentioned in this thread owes any explanation to anyone except for the customer support and they probably don't need explanations and can track stuff down (I hope). If there are people who are suspects, then you report your suspicions via a ticket and that's it. The initial aim of this thread wasn't that probably but now it turned to attacking certain players and alliance(s) which shouldn't happen.
Just going to say this because it has to be said. If Shield (as the most respected alliance by name and reputation, deservedly so) recruited 5 suspicious accounts nobody has heard of who score 1300+ every round, you wouldn't call them out?
What the point in having a community if you let it be polluted by hackers and people like Naz shooting off his mouth in literally every post. As a leading alliance harboring obviously suspicious accounts they owe it to the community a respectable answer to the accusations, as well as customer support. Clearly by Naz's and either his cronies or alt accounts (Cant tell) they say they are in right and do so by insulting everyone's intelligence, play still, and pocket book? Is that a thing? Pre-alliance era was a wonderful time here, and while lines have been drawn since then, things are not so far gone as to not treat each other with dignity and look out for one another. Obviously everyone here is not community driven or mature enough to realize that.
This is a jury of his peers and we deserve a rightful answer. There seems to be no official Dev presence anymore which is worrisome in itself.0 -

D3 should check every top 10 player and alliance after each pve/pvp. like 100% of the time
CS tickets & forum call outs & checking top 10 players/alliances should all be regularly employed together.
But you also know running two accounts is illegal in nearly 100% of online games. Using 1 credit card for multiple accounts generally means 1 person for 2 accounts. could mean a spouse/bf/gf, roommate or kid as well, but we all know that isn't likely. Most other adults have their own accounts and almost no one sane would spend that much for a kid's account also. both accounts should be banned0 -

I understand your reasoning. The main reason it bugs me is that u support a cohesive, bonded forum as such we had in the earlier days of the game. I, as you can tell by my absence of late, don't like to participate in community discussion as often when there's always so much aggression and hostility due to alliance rivalries.0 -

please, talk within your alliance before making posts...first some of you said you were not p2w , now you said you did spend a lot.
and flo98's roster isnt huge as well, now what exactly is your so called secret besides spending money?
How do you explain that?
The game is not set up to be able to play for free but we spend no where to what you all think. Not to sound arrogant, but people in the past that didn't understand how things happened just said it was from the God's, or made a God out of it, it seems nothings changed. It's not magical it's not cheating we just play. When shielded put up 1300 6 months ago where they cheaters God's? Seriously it's not that complicated. If anyone needs to learn how to play I can help, but if you guys seriously don't know how we do it by now really makes me feel like my 183 IQ is not that overrated.0 -
Almost everyone in shield has a better roster than me. I can guarantee they bought the covers they needed. You simply can not win the covers you need to finish all those 3* characters unless you do.0
