on a serious note, coming here and talking to us will tell a lot. for example, mikeydollar, even thou he is in X-Men, is a pretty straight fellow. fact that he is in X-Men makes me sad.
I have asked him not to come here and say anything. He nor any of us for that matter really care if people think we cheat. We don't we just play harder. Honesty if we are going to be the talk of the town, I'm down. It's like free advertising, and who doesn't like free advertising?0 -
For all you so called day 1 players, you do know it is possible to get rid of characters you don't want right? You must also know it's possible to purchase covers with real money right? I think u can buy iso as well? Duh!!! I've been playing with 2* covers and low level 3 star covers to still come out on top. I was able to score over 14k season 2 and still managed to defeat your 3 star teams. You honestly think devs are going to stop selling covers, iso, and boosts so ur broke **** can compete? Sorry to say but if it weren't for the pay to play players, ftp players wouldn't have a game to play. X men is the most hated alliance and funny thing is, we have lots of ftp players and still no one can defeat us. Here comes a 3 peat you make ur self sound so bad crying about the xmen and all of our members. Just wanna thank everyone who took time out their day to give a shout out to all the xmen. Thanks for making our brotherhood bond that much stronger. We love all of our haters. #hatersgonnahate #2timedefendingchamps #3peat #can'twaittohearaboutthehashtags #x-men #wererecruiting #championsonlyplease #xmen4life #enoughsaid0

psy, forumites are unable to see what happened in your respective alliance. what you said might be true, but you just gonna have to see naz's post to understand how we think that way. this thread is not about organisation skills or whatever. it's about the existence of certain characters in your alliance make it suspicious.
as a seasoned player, you would agree that it appears suspicious if you looked at it objectively. as an alliance, you guys should have conducted your own investigation instead of taking a "don't ask don't tell" approach.
sure you guys don't owe us an explanation, but doing so will shut most of us up.0 -

Now, I may just be noobing out here, since I don't really have my finger on the pulse of the alliance community, but I don't see a Flo98 on the X-Men's roster. Once again, could be just me, so I figured I'd seek some clarity.
Also, yeah, what they all said!
Flo is on xmen 2
Oh no! I've exposed myself! Must re shield so I don't get negative rep!0 -

Naz can you explain this method of playing harder? Also if you don't care why are you still posting?0 -

Psykopathic wrote:OK seriously, I have seen so many people in this thread posting about who cheated, and who did this and who did that, that previously would jump on anybody who had posted similar to send a ticket to customer support and be done with it.
The standard procedure for reporting suspected cheaters I'd to simply send in a ticket explaining your suspicions. It is ridiculous a mod has even stickied this thread. It has no purpose but to increase hostility and cause drama. For real, what mod actually stickied a thread that should have been locked from the get go?
Ridiculous
2nd off
I seen naz compared to klingsor, ridiculous. I was the 1 who recruited 1/2 of 5dv. I was klingsor ' s 2nd in command for a spell. He is an egotistical nazi jerk. Naz is a good leader who puts the group 1st and looks out for everybody eise ' interests 1st.

Regardless of any of that ****, this should be handled the same way as any other suspected cheat8ng, via a vs ticket. **** mods?
First off, I think that was the first time I've seen the term "second off" used. That intrigued me.
If you were 100 times (a hundred times!!) more organized than the 5DV, you would have known straight away if flo cheated or not. So what's with this "I don't know and no one else does either" bull? What have you guys been organizing otherwise - trips to Orange Julius for some of Naz's smoothies?
And Psyko, I also feel it's ridiculous to compare Naz with Klingsor. Klingsor may have an ego, but you've read Naz posts - he's full ****.0 -

most famous? don't make me laugh. walkyourpath has TWO mpq super bowl rings. where's your super bowl ring?
Like Patrick Roy's quote to Jeremy Roenick:
I really can't hear what Nazerith is saying, because I have my 2 MPQ rings plugging my ears.
As a diehard Colorado Avalanche fan, I greatly approve of this post.0 -

Ummmm do u play mpq? Season 1 winners where who? Ahhh that's right The X-Men! Season 2 winners? Yet again The X-Men. So please understand who's who in MPQ before you say something incorrect.
Um, so you won... the same rewards as the next 4 alliances, and only a handful more iso and hp than the next 99? Who cares?
The couple of Fury covers and 200 HP you're so dang proud of (and that, again, SHIELD and 5DV also got) seems kind of paltry next to the 12,500 HP, 27000 iso, and one of every cover in the game won by our hero, doesn't it?0 -

You make some good points and you are one of the few xmen who don't act all ****, but I have to call you out for that above quote as you said more or less the exact same thing about how great Klingsor was when you were with the 5D's so ill take that with a pinch of salt.0 -
As a former member of the 5D family (I still have much respect for some of the truly good guys there) and someone who was recruited by X-men (and would've joined out of respect for psy if I was willing to take the game more seriously) I can say that this thread is much more fun when you "don't have a dog in the fight."
That said, I think this would be a much more productive. Thread if there wasn't blatant bashing of the 5DV. Guys and thumbs down given to all of Naz's posts. There is obviously a reason why there are questions about the integrity of certain players, and if you can deal with those questions without resorting to childish name calling and negativity it would certainly cause any rational person to think more carefully about your argument.0 -
clf_02 X3 wrote:Scoring and shielding. Lol shielding is an x-men thing. No integrity. You guys kill me. I win enough free coins to stay shielded every pve event.
That's cool and all, but I don't even need to shield at all in PVE events.
Also the maximum HP you can earn in a PVP is 400. That wouldn't buy a fraction of the shields Kakko and Flo and Slobo waste each PVP. So no, you're full of it.
Maybe once the devs realize the HP spend is probably not bought legitimately they'll take a look and half of X-Men will wind up with Jimbojim and gbr33 playing in an empty sandbox.0 -
Oh no I sold almost all my 2* covers today to lvl my 3* Thor and daken I just bought the covers for. I'm a cheater. You guys are like a bunch of high school girls mad at the girl who is taking the best guy in school to the prom. Stop crying and beat us. That's the solution. Put on your big girl panties. And bring a challenge0

I can easily take patch / c mags / a lvl 15 / $20 and make 1500 I've done it before. I do know however, if I was a cheater, I would have more than 8 covers.0 -

It's more of a, "we are innocent until we get caught" approach. This reminds me of Alex Rodriguez. We are still innocent even after we are caught! He at least had talent before he cheated.
Hey and if by some miracle of super lucky cascades in the first swap of every fight they aren't cheating, well then thanks for keeping D3 afloat so we can all play this game for free. You may keep the benefactors award on the wall of biggest donors.
Imagine if there was no salary cap in baseball- you might get the LOS ANGELES YANKEESOX-Men
Sorry for the meta analogy that non baseball fans will probably not understand.
Point being either you're cheating and/or abusing bugs in the system OR as you claim, you guys are paying for first place. either way, really? No. really?0 -

hey I don't know if any of you guys in this thread were aware of this obscure game mechanic but did you know that you can shield to avoid losing points? it's kind of an x-men "thing," had to buck dear leader nazerith and give away our super secret pro strats here. of course it's not for everybody, only about 200 players in each bracket make enough HP to be able to shield in every event, pros like me only, not to brag
in fact shielding is so good I "stay shielded every pve event" to protect me from those level 400 ares0 -
I posted why Flo's roster is low. I was in DMZ with him. He did it while there. He was scoring high then too.0

Soooooooo, are we just gonna ignore the fact that someone just used hashtags on a gaming forum?
Yeah? We're gonna let that go?0 -
With the amounts of shields and boosts being used to attain the scores, the X-Men and X-Men 2 who are averaging 1300 per PVP must be spending averaging at least one Looney per week. To shield hop from 1000 to 1300, even assuming they can average 25 pts per match at one match per shield, would require 12 shields and cost 900 HP using 3-hr shields. Add in one 8-hr shield per PVP and it adds up to 1,050 HP per PVP, which is probably pretty conservative given what we are seeing from them with shielding. This does not count HP spent on +3 AP boosts, which some of the players with lower-end rosters almost certainly are using, or HP spent on health packs. So figure they are averaging close to 1,500 HP per player. Multiply that by three PVPs per week, and they would be spending 4,500 HP per week. I'm not counting shields spent in Simulator either or HP spent on covers.
I can speak from experience because I spent like crazy in Season One on boosts and shields, and that was when the game gave out HP in much greater amounts. A lot of my alliance mates in SHIELD were able to pay for shields in Season One without buying HP, because they had saved since the beginning. But the newer players in X-Men can't have those stockpiles and with the limited amount of HP being provided, for many of the X-Men to be obtaining these scores legitimately, they would probably have to be buying at least a Looney a week. Maybe they are, but it's hard to fathom that so many players on one team are spending that much. Given that there are hacks out there that permit players to increase their HP, have unlimited health, and defeat any opponents with one-strike, the scores and rosters do raise legitimate questions.0
