    The stun is not needed, a backup battery is.

    In practice, once you get that repeater out, she's kind of an engine all on her own. She slots into all sorts of teams that want to make AP and cast stuff. I'd compare Darkveil to a slightly slower but much more versatile Deathlok, or a more reliable IM40.
