Yeah, at some point they'll run out of gas.

On the other hand, since the devs have stated they have no interest in displacing the meta/speed teams, might as well use what you have when you decide the character is interesting.

They have plenty of gas, most of them participate in "buy clubs". 20 people get together in a temporary alliance and each person has to buy 1-10 starks, garnering a quick 140-1400cp.

I know there are buy clubs, although the game has increased the value of offerings so much lately that buying HP and getting bonus CP isn’t the best value for your spending some of the time.

What I was thinking about was the fact that high level rosters with ascended characters are churning much more pulls than ever and that building a hoard to 550 is faster than ever, but you still would probably run out of pulls to keep that going if you didn’t skip some characters.

Evidently, they don't need to skip too many, because it's always the same people.

I don't think I'm going to chase a high level Jubilee. I'll champ her, but I don't enjoy her play style. The locked tiles are frustrating and I don't need to be spending health packs every match where the cheese comes into play.

Agreed, although she might be an interesting anti-Thor to leave out and see what people do.

Been using her with Wong and Kamala. She’s been great for that because her locked tiles count for KK’s passive damage. If Wong happens to start with strikes, matches go fast.

I don't buy her as an effective anti-Thor. I guess, maybe, if you put her with other revive characters, but I had no trouble at all just downing her last. That auto-win mechanic hasn't been anywhere near as annoying as AI Riris, for example.

So got her to 13 covers

Now to see if good and find a team support for them

After using her a good bit, I certainly don’t consider her a good anti-Thor tool. She’s very hard to build teams around due to her various limitations and need to thread a needle when using her.

Low health because she can revive, so she dies quickly. Uses up the reviving repeaters as she does. Also uses repeaters with her powers. (Granted red gets better with fewer repeaters.) Also also purple/stun hurts her driving her closer to needing a revive. Chasing black is often pointless because she can’t do anything with it until all the revives are gone but she often dies before you get enough.

She’s kind of fun and supports make her interesting but is hard to make a strong argument for.

I love her. She is a lot of fun and her purple stun is a game changer in the current PvP meta, as long as you have the supports that supply her with purple AP.

Pair her with a strong damage dealer and you should be able to handle most problematic pairings.
Her red also hits hard, especially after casting purple a few times. Currently having a blast using her with 5* Colossus as they usually make short work of the Wanda/Colossus pairings that seem popular this week.

Soooo, I had a thought to pair her with T4rch. My thought process was, have him shoot off his red, all the repeaters get unlocked at once, and he's got 8 repeaters to swing with right off. But, for some reason, he only destroys the repeaters that are already unlocked and does NOT unlock the others. It's like he doesn't see the locked ones. I was under the impression that locked tiles are typically seen by destroy effects without issue. Does this sound intentional or like a bug to you all?

I believe this is intentional, but can't say for sure. He will definitely go for the fortified ones but so few characters lock tiles it's like a less explored tactic.

I just ran a test with 3* Magneto and Quicksilver. Quicksilver locked several team-up tiles, and Polarizing Force unlocked all of them. In light of this, I'm gonna try submitting a bug report for Jub+Jim.

Haha, YES, I love the approach and am all for making Jubes better.
