Meeting Rocket and Groot on March 21 and April 1? Also shouldn’t there be an event with him in progression starting on the 24th or 25th? I think we have a boss staring 4/1.
3ap to drain 17 ap is really good, since most abilities 5 or greater. I think I would run it 5/5/3.
I am guessing this character will be nerfed once actually in game, as QA testing has not been done. But then again considering an easy phyla and moon dragon interaction was missed during qa testing, I can also see the percentages been bumped up.

Yeah ok. I am going to fave and ascend him as soon as possible. Not only is this a LEGIT FosThor counter, he’s gonna fit right in wuth all the ascended match damage characters.
Question: does he drain from his team’s AP pool or the opponents AP pool? It has to be his team’s pool……. Right? 😈

If he's draining enemy AP, he's Chasm/Gambit all over again, and I think he ends up nerfed somewhere down the line.
If he's draining friendly AP that makes a bit more sense, and he's still very, very good.
I want him to drain AP from his team and opponent as long as it reaches the threshold. In true villain style.

I can't say I can do all that math in my head, but he looks absolutely insane. Ascended, I predict he is going to be a PROBLEM.

I think Capital Gains is actually your own AP, since it refers to them as AP spent. Either way he's top tier for that insane passive + being such a brick to preserve it. I guess 5/5/3 is the way to accentuate his strengths, as while One to You, Sir scales well it doesn't seem worth the effort to try & juggle it.

It's your AP it's draining. It would have the word 'enemy' if it was draining enemy AP and of course would be OP. Draining your AP means it will be a niche power meant as a finishing blow.

He flat stops her cold given he is going to remove 5 charged tiles a turn. Only a few active charged tile creation powers put down more than 5 at once and he would remove them instantly.
Not to mention he's depowering SAP tiles too as a counter to all the tile buffers and those who put out tons of SAP's (not quite as good as Kraven but he's still solid).
His other powers (passive Black) are a bit trickier to evaluate. When he's ascended, if he is hit by a 5 star with 1000 match damage that's 3K damage (match 3). He reduces by 50% or 1500. He stores 30% of that or 450. I assume this 450 is a pool of extra damage so if he then makes a match 3 he then adds 50% of this pool (225) to the match damage (so if he made a match 3 of 3K damage of his own it would be 3250). Then if hit again for the same 3K he'd add +450 more so his pool would be 675 and so on.

The wording on the Purple says 'for each AP spent' rather than 'for each AP drained' which says to me it's your AP being spent by the purple.
