I'm thinking 4 of July. Now who would the 5 be

Captain America. .. Peggy ..not sure other 3

Nah then again who would buy that vault ...

As long as the vault has a similar composition I'd buy it out just about as much as I could. Yeah, the current one is pretty nuts but the value is still basically there even with lesser characters... after a certain point ANY 5* cover is a good cover if it can be gotten cheaply/efficiently.

Now that we're expecting these quarterly though, BCS will decide to change it up because they hate consistency. See the baffling decision to NOT feature the latest support in the last heroic boss event after doing so in all the previous runs.

The Heroic boss support switch isn’t that baffling as far as revenue. Giving away the most recent support consistently to the most engaged players (hence most likely to spend money on a support) probably didn’t help at all with selling those support bundles they keep offering.

These vaults, on the other hand, are entirely about providing a place to spend your HP, and hopefully cause you to buy more.

    From the wikipedia page:

While growing up in the historically gritty or crime-ridden working class Irish-American neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen in New York City

Seems a strong enough connection. No idea if he's actually Irish (or Irish-American), but he grew up in a historically Irish-American neighbourhood!

    Seems legit!

    Daredevil Origin:

"Whilst listening to a U2 album and eating a potato, Matthew O'Murdock felt the green wash over him and he vowed to always protect Hells Kitchen as New York's most Irish superhero! The boys of the NYPD choir were singing Galway Bay and the bells were ringing out for Shamrock Rovers Murphy's Sweet Molly Malone freedom!"

How dare you forgot the superhero of Ireland: Shamrock!

Her name is Molly! She has "luck" based powers! She wears green and has red hair!

Her father is a, err, um, fanatical militant Irish nationalist! So he, uh, went to the North of Ireland (wait really??) to beg God to grant powers to his son while his daughter was just hanging out watching the whole thing!

She was in the Contest of Champions paired with Captain Britain!

Her powers manifest themselves as (okay, let me see here): Molly Fitzgerald was somehow mystically changed to become a vessel for souls of people who had died as innocent victims of war. Whenever Molly finds herself in physical trouble, a displaced poltergeist will manifest itself for a fraction of an instant as a burst of energy that ultimately causes improbable incidents to occur for her benefit.

*Edit (wow, okay) She moved to New York to open the "Luck o' the Irish" Pub!

**Edit2: She defeated The Trapster (aka Paste-Pot Pete) and used his glue to give Felicia Hardy's niece a stylish new hairdo!

    SHAMROCK!

When Cap was created in 1940, there was still a lot of anti-Irish discrimination in the US. Also….he’s Captain America, representing the country. Part of his reason for being created was because America was still not engaged in WWII (this was a full year before Pearl Harbor) and there was at least a partial intent to influence opinion regarding American involvement via his exploits.

So to peg him to a particular country of origin was obviously kind of counter to the idea of America, which historically had been seen as a nation of immigrants/melting pot. (Note....I'm trying to reflect on the time of his creation here...) And also again, he was supposed to represent the entire country taking the battle to the Nazis.

To peg him to Ireland also opened up a real possibility that he wouldn't become as popular as many looked down on people from there.

So we can say "why Cap?" for this store, but at least the devs picked a character who originated from a place with lots of Irish immigrants.

Matthew Murdock (aka Daredevil) is the son of Jonathan "Jack" Murdock, an Irish-American boxer. Murdock is also a surname of Irish or Scottish origin for Murdoch, which is derived from old Irish Gaelic words mur (meaning "sea") and murchadh (meaning "sea warrior"). He was raised in the Irish Catholic tradition, which was heavily ingrained in him and became a constant friction to his vigilante activities.

Wow, this is amazing. So I went looking for her in Marvel Unlimited, and what returned was Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #3 (1991).

The Guardians in the 31st century (Major Victory, Nikki, Charlie-27, Yellowjacket, Talon, Starhawk) have been tasked with finding the Book of Kells as it is the only hope to reintroduce literacy to the world, which has been de-literacized by "Realitee-Vee".

They find Shamrock at Newgrange, and she explains how in the 20th century, Doctor Druid informed her that her poltergeist based powers also grant her eternal life, and tasks her with guarding the Book of Kells for centuries to come. To keep her company, Doctor Druid extracts the ghost of Cú Chulainn from her.

Shamrock defeats Samhain by releasing all the souls of the innocent war victims at once.
