    They said you can't use them where * restrictions are applied.
    LRs use "Magneto (Classic)", so any version of him works, ascended or not.

    I think I'm going to dupe the "better lower" 4* like 4Pool and Valkyrie, or at the very least just the passive covers to 5. I ascended Valkyrie to double dip on the rewards, but like @Omegased , i tended to use my L280ish dupe more often just to trigger the passives easier.

    My theory - every cover used towards a level gives a reward of this level even if you need 3 or 4 for one level. Therefore its 4 times more for merged 4* as it takes 4 covers for one 5* level. For merged 3* you need 3 covers for a level, so you get 3 times more rewards. And obviously for 2* merged you get twice as much rewards as you should.
    Confirmation of the theory are CPs for 3*. 3x40 (40 is the amount counted on reached levels) would be 120, but 100 covers are 33 levels and one cover extra which goes to level 304 where the reward is 4CP. This reward you get just once for this one cover, hence the total is 124CP.

    And this error is only from covers used from merged characters. I used 2 extra covers for ascended magneto at 303 and 1/3 level. First one was without rewards, second one took him to 304, so I got 4CP. This is the way it was planned, I think.

    Yes the added cover bit is how merging should have worked, I think.

    Yes the adding covers after merging is how it should work yes.

    Has anybody been able to try if it is possible to apply a cover as a saved cover, if there is an ascended version that can be leveled?
    For instance, you have a 3* Storm(Mohawk) with 2 green/2 yellow / 5 black and an Ascended 3* Storm(Mohawk) that is not max champed.
    If I get another Black 3* Storm cover, is it possible to put it as a saved cover on the 2/2/5 non-ascended version? And if so, how do you do that?

    Edit: The default action in the inbox is adding a cover to an ascended character rather than training the non-ascended version. A new yellow 3* storm gets applied as a partial level for the ascended version, and not to raise the 2/2/5 to 2/3/5, and you also do not get a chocie after you clicked the default action in the inbox.

    Took Ascended 4* Moon Knight into a SIM match.
    On the ready screen his green is supposed to do 50k damage - in game it reverted to the original 4* version damage.
    Anyone else have issues with old level powers in game ?

    My plan was only ever to merge two max levels as I wasn't interested really or in a rush. With the bug I merged all the 3* I could regardless of level. It gave me 73 LT (9000HP and 600CP) and I couldn't say no to that. I wasn't able to do all them all as I didn't have a dupe ready.

    I'm still not doing the 4* as I will wait for max champ and play the longer game. I really don't have enough dupes in that tier to worry about the bonus reward error.

    You can also consider the first batch is for the cool bonus rewards, and build up the rest of your 4 stars to double-max for when they’ll be ascendable. Best of both worlds.

    With 4* ascension, do you think it makes sense to take the dupe to 280 so you get the full 5* feeder cover (as long as it is a feeder) and then merge? Like everyone else, im just trying to come up with the best option for the standard player like myself

    Did my 3* as it seems silly not to currently despite all the math fun on optimal rewards. 3x rewards is definitely coming in, monitored on the first one.

    Did 11 3*s that I could, dupes at 230avg. 91 LT , 796 CP, 9,100HP and 445k ISO rewards! Whoop

    NB - adding covers after ascension does NOT get extra rewards and appears to be working as intended, added cover 2 of 3 to an ascended Deadpool and nothing came in. So pull tokens and level up your characters BEFORE ascension

    Yeah, I'm not sure about upgrading anyone yet. I did Medusa, but wasn't too impressed.

    I don't really have the roster space or ISO to start duping everyone in the game.

    I think i will just ignore the feature until I'm Roster/ ISO positive.

    Medusa's match damage is very high after ascending. I was hoping it wouldn't overshadow Okoye, but alas it did. Even though Okoye is about 20 levels higher.

    So, I just ascended 2* Thor using a 144 max champ with a 94 unchamped.

    For starters, my ascended character is level 167, but I believe should only be 166.
    Because he is now 167, he has earned the 167 champ reward which is an LL token, but my total LL tokens have increased by 2.

    The changes in stats are all over the place:
    Health +28%
    Match damage +8% (this is consistent across all colours)
    Red power +32%
    Yellow power +191%
    Green power +50%

    I have double checked all these figures, particularly the yellow damage is significant.

    One point - my ascended 2* Storm is sat in the Upgrade Ready filter, though I can't actually do anything else with her (I'm one cover away from the next level).

    All 2*s seem to have this issue. I have 4 of them ascended and they all show as ready to upgrade, but no upgrade available.
