    Which could be interpreted to not be a good sign. If a company is making a large change they should stand behind it.

    I'll wait for details before judging whatever this is, because promoting 1* into 5* is such a bizarre idea, I don't see any way it could happen.

    Agreed, but I do find the marketing odd to have a 1* Iron Man getting bigger and represented with each tier an

    This is so weird. Characters weren't designed to act this way. Surely, there's going to be some BROKEN stuff if it's a straight forward level up.

    Yeah, think about the implications for PvP matchmaking. You'd almost have to redo the whole thing. Then think about how many other systems in the game care about your guys' levels. It can't be what I think it is, so it must be some other thing.

    Honestly the way I see it, I suspect that any Non-5 stars can be promoted into 5 star. While the advertisement shows Iron Man, I suspect we'll be able to turn 4 stars into 5 stars. Which would be scary but also really cool.

    4* Juggs to 5* Juggs? Or upgrading Polaris' damage? I could go for that.

    It could very easily just allow 1* characters to scale up to SCL10 node levels or Balance of Power style level caps. Get ready for 1 (5)* Juggernaut/Polaris 4 (5)/ BRB 5 (still?) I guess.

    Maybe it is going to be like the prestige thing you get in COD games. I can't explain that and have no idea how it works I just get told things like "Prestige Master Level 257!!" and am supposed to be impressed. Normally by the time I have even aimed at something in COD Multiplayer I have been shot 7 times, exploded and hit in the head with a combat axe so I rarely actually get to level anything up.
