I frequently see 4* Thor being called Thoress or Jane Foster. I'll simply call her 5* JF or 5* Thoress.
As for the videos, it seems like she and team cascades don't gel really well.0 -
Was a little concern after her minor nerf. I see new Jane is gonna be a must have going forward. Haven't seen a new 5* contribute to a win in PVP at level 1,1,1 since SC. Having all 4 boost champ I'm playing around her ability to manipulate the board for the win. And even at low levels she's doing decent damage. Really enjoying this character so far.1

Yep She-Thor is a must have to add to my list. Rare that I want a charged tile user because I usually suffer as much as I gain when the ai collects extra ap.0

Is it me or does she seem VERY overpowered, even at a low level. She hits hard, gains colors from destroyed tiles, destroys not only random tiles, but numbered/etc - she's kind of ridiculous.

I can’t seem to get the hang of her so far. She’s just blowing up everything and I can’t plan around it yet. It’s like when Agent Venom reaches the passive threshold on Military Might. It’s quite chaotic.Edit* for instance. I thought Sersi/Phoenix would be great with LayTthor because the potential to get match 5s would be great. And it is.But
whenever Jane fires off a power or doesn’t have 9 or AP in her powers, she destroys everything I build. Sersi’s fortified passive doesnt even reach 2 before it’s gone and Jean’s strikes are all gone in the same turn. It’s nuts.0 -

She is completely insane. Stuff just.....happens. I think there actually is a bit TOO much stuff going on. With Shang Chi, I find myself calculating each turn. With 5Jane, I feel like it's "let's push this button and see what happens". Not bad, but definitely odd to have no idea what happens next. Makes it very hard to plan moves in advance.3

- she’s gonna blow up that repeater. That thing doesn’t stay on the field for more than 2 turns.- if by some miracle it does, her passive does no damage, so no charges are added.- her red does really good damage and is cheap so she can fire on Collosus (since he mitigates match damage) and rip him or Wanda with no problem once the repeater is gone.
- if by some miracle the repeater survived, Jane’s red only hits once so you’re not adding up the charges like Apoc’s.But still…. This character is crazy. I think the team I’ll use her with is Okoye/Collosus or Colossus/ProfX or maybe with BRB/Okoye. Cuz she doesn’t leave ANYTHING on the field. She blows up everything. Your traps. Your repeaters. Your fortified CDs. She doesn’t care. If it’s on the field, she’s gonna blow it up.1 -
This is how broken Polaris and 5* JF can be together. Throw in BRB and you've players asking 5* JF to be nerfed.

KK/5* JF/Polaris should be pretty sick if you can get those strike tiles out quickly.2 -
Jhor is a monster at 1/1/1.
And she creates 1 charged at the start of battle and start of turn.
That means at player's turn 2 with storm and BB there will be 7 charged tiles.
Cascademania! There couldn't be a character using special tiles who could do something with her, except those who benefit from destroying it.0 -
Finding it hard to judge with a champed Col. Everything is melting with him and Chavez. Can’t say I’ve had a quicker climb to 20 wins. Interesting how many BRB Polaris teams have been out there. Especially as Thor fires the blue and does nothing against me.1

If AI is smarter, they will rotate your Col. to the front and fire Polaris' blue to stun him instead. Unfortunately, the dumbness of AI makes it even harder to judge most character from a defensive point of view. Generally, they will fire powers with the highest ap cost.
In Chess/Go, the AI is smart enough to beat T1 player of the world now. If the dev is interested, they could train their AI to recognise moves of common team setup and mimic them to provide a real challenge for the world of MPQ.

She is pretty crazy. Running her with Crystal and Colossus is pretty cool if you can fire Crystals green and target air. As soon as I fired air the team went winfinite.
She worked well with Sersi and Shang Chi as well.
Really can't wait for her to show up in LL.

This is a game where each and every player thinks they are the smarter player who ever played it.
If AI started beating them, the complainers would fill 10 pages on the first hours devs released the update.
Bombing reviews and quitting menaces here and there, perhaps even death threats.2 -
I think the main problem with MPQ is the intelligence of AI. If AI is smarter, players will start taking non-meta characters more seriously. As for now, the AI is handicapped in the sense that:
1) it doesn't rotate player's characters
2) it matches its own tiles almost immediately after it fires
3) fires power in a fixed order
4) it doesn't spam powers consistently
I believe most players go into matches against non-meta teams with a mindset of 100% winrate, unless luck messes that up.
Heroic events are a pseudo-challenging events, whereas smarter AI is a real challenge.
Anyway, I've tried Polaris/5* Carol, Carbage/Eddie Brock, Carbage/BRB, BRB/Iceman, BRB/Sersi and they work well the way I expected.
Still, she will be BRB/Polaris top choice in shield training. I think Kitty/BRB/Polaris days are numbered in shield training come August/September0 -
I'd enjoy an AI denying colors, or saving powers, or firing them optimally. But that would mean:
- a lot of resources for to programming that
- possibly a lot of players would hate that change
- possibly a lot of bugs and a lot of time for to fix them, as BCS said the mechanics of the game are old and hard to reprogramming.
For all that work it would be better and easier to enable pvp on real time.0
