***** Elektra (Woman Without Fear) *****

I just remembered this. Since Mr Sinister wasn't paired with Elektra, I guess it answered the question that her traps don't work with other's trap tiles?
We could have new trap tile meta if her passive work with Sinister/Killmonger traps. Imagine the meltdown in pvp.
I hope this year meta shakeup will revolve around trap tiles. Trap is an underrated and underappreciated mechanics in the game.

You don't have to try it. Electro and Wanda alone slaughter Hulkoye teams.

I want to see how irritating it will be to fight Elektra, Wanda and Abigail.0

As a funny fact, this is the first 5* character which I have translated since Cable. Still the power's names are in english.0

I really like her yellow. I haven't tested it yet, but was wondering if it worked with other trap tiles. From what others are posting, it doesn't look like it.Bzhai said:I want to see how irritating it will be to fight Elektra, Wanda and Abigail.0

The yellow seems overpowered enough that someone is going to whine about it but I personally love it. Elektra and Wanda and a force multiplier was fast0

Pretty clear to me after using her a bit for her PvP that her yellow is the only really usable power. Purple is just way to expensive, and red is too underpowered for the AP investment.
But, the yellow seems to be really good and potentially dangerous over the course of longer matches.
Not sure I will chase her, but I will not be unhappy if I wind up with a bunch of covers for her.0 -
Functionally speaking, her red is the same as Peggy Carter's blue power, except that it stuns the back two characters for three turns and put up to 3 blue 3-turn cds. Come to think of it, they actually complement each other.

And it does way more damage relative to the rest of her * tier, and can do multiple hits of damage. (And the tiny fact that no one plays Peggy for her blue. It's fine, but everyone plays peggy for the yellow, which gives her more space to use medium-good powers like her red and blue). But other than that, just the same!0

I play Peggy for her blue and yellow. She's the only character in the game who can stun the entire enemy team if all of them are invisible. Since Peggy can't stun the front character, Elektra could do with her red stun.
But, the selling point of Elektra is her yellow anyway. So, you don't want to have the enemy stunned.1 -
And peggy is a 4* and elektra a 5*, but peggy offers 3 cds if there are 3 allies: a good cd power.
Elektra is a 5* and she doesn't have good instant damage so she would appreciate a direct hit a lot more than a super meh cd.0 -
In the 5*Elektra PVP, I find it amusing that when enemy create a strike tile, my Elektra steal it, then enemy's Elektra immediately steal that strike tile from me.

I think there’s a typo on her Red power, I believe it’s spelled “Audible Sigh”

Elektra's yellow teamup is bugged. She will put her trap tiles but it will never activate and they remain trap tiles on the board.4

Any news on the Punch Line special store?
It seems a bit late in the day, since some players in slice 1 will have already finished Fight for Wakanda, and these tokens are in individual placement rewards, as well as alliance placement rewards.

I have been fooling around with different Elektra teams in sims. Trying out fun teams with Sinister.1) Damage reduction. Elektra, Mr Sinister, SW. The team specialise in reducing damage through SW passive, Elektra yellow and Sinister black. Enemy powers will have a hard time punching through with so many damage reduction abilities. However, the team has very little damage outlet, mainly doing low damage through SW passive and trap tiles. The major damage comes from Sinister blue Behold, if there are many traps on the board, but it’s too much variance.2) Damage reduction version 2. Elektra, Mr Sinister, Colossus. Similar to version 1, but Colossus reduce the match damage. Also, as I am matching yellow for ap, I take full advantage of Colossus match damage. I could also use Colossus back as a black outlet. This team plays smoother than the version 1 (SW) I feel.3) Full trap tiles. Elektra, Mr Sinister, Yelena. Compared to the first two teams above, this one don’t have damage mitigation. But it goes hard on ap denial, with Yelena passive for ap reduction. And if the opp fires powers, Mr Sinister trap tiles can suppress ap too. Also, Yelena has a good purple power to generate more trap tiles, and that allow me to max out Mr Sinister blue Behold damage. Not a meta team, but in some it is quite fun. It holds up well against other meta teams in sims now.1

I don't doubt it's fun.
But sadly sinister, as many characters, is awful on AI's hands. He is not fool proof like colossus or SW. Also his traps tend to stale the board. With SC or sersi that problem is solved and then is pretty fun, still they will be awful on defense.
I think elektra will perform way better with a special tiles buffer instead of him, or a charater giving special tiles like colossus, enhancing a third of her toolkit.0 -

You suggested special tiles buffer? Can you explain more? Like using Polaris?0
