And whoever deleted my post about this, it's against the law for censoring me for pointing out a law. Especially when it has to do something about pointing out marginalization against those with disabilities.2 -

I said they don't have to give you a forum to discuss it.As for the threatening, you are correct. I just read into it that way. Pointing out a potential law violation "feels" like a threat, even if that wasn't your intention./looks like we both were reading what we wanted into the others' post2

Long time player, sometime poster, not one to complain...
But yeah...the darkening on AI turn is annoying and playing the game in low light (like it bed) makes everything really seem dark.
Not a fan of charged tiles either. On old UI they were bigger than other tiles, now they are the same size and don't stick out as much. I don't mind the bigger tiles, but as everyone else has said, everything sort of runs together and its hard to distinguish what is what.2 -

Are we supposed to still be upset about okoye everywhere?

I don't think anyone deleted your post because your post with the same content is here, unless you are referring to another of your post with a different content.

Both are under the same user with the same content.
On a side note, the dev will probably reply this Friday or next Monday about the feedbacks.1 -
I know its been said repeatedly but have to add my feedback:
The changes are inducing nausea and headaches. Due to being one of the Kindle users who lost their save yesterday I've only just been able to try out the new UI and having only played DDQ I have had to stop because I do not want to finish the day with a migraine. Normally at this stage I would be working through all of PVE and completing a handful of PvP fights. No chance of that for a while if 5 DDQ matches have made me feel like this.
I've played this game religiously every day pretty much since it came out, I don't want to have to stop playing but that will be the case if these changes remain.
I don't know what aspect of the change is causing this, I would guess at the dimming effect as you have created a slow strobe and causing the eyes to change focus every couple of seconds which is just messing up the brain.
There are other issues, as previously mentioned to do with hard to identify special tiles, tricky to see which powers are ready to fire etc which I feel you could get used to once the new tiles are embedded into the brain, but the main issue is a game breaker.
Lets just hope that the feedback is taken on board and it is realised that this isn't just opinion based response to change but actually about health issues.11 -
needs some getting used to, but it's... ok, i guess?
I think it's really weird... the board was ok before, that manhours couldn't have gone to creating some content, like new events?0 -
I think I’m going to quit the game. Being a bit colour blind I cannot tell the black/green/red tiles apart now - same for the power progress bars. They used to be so distinct.11
-
I have been playing the game for several years but unless the dimming is fixed I will not be playing further. As with others I could not complete the DDQ as it was making me nauseous and inducing a headache. I have no opinion on the other changes as the dimming alone took away any enjoyment of the game.
I have a VIP membership and have opened a support case to have the balance of this months payment returned as they have have made the game unplayable - I would not have paid for the membership if this had been in place.11 -
I’ve been playing MPQ for years and have to say I’m disappointed. What’ll it take to revert back to the UI we had or one that’s much easier on the eyes than this new one? I suffer from chronic migraine and won’t be able to continue play on a screen like this. I truly love this game. Those of us who have pumped money into it probably aren’t thrilled with not having a say. Heck. They put out surveys for everything else...why not this (before implementation)? I’m all for change...but let’s make it a good one.5

I'm another long time player (6 years everyday with an unbroken streak) and have also never felt compelled to come here until now. Not a regular spender but not totally FTP, I have done VIP a few times over the years. The new board is AWFUL.The muted colors are hard to see.The character insignias the the tiles are so bold they make every tile look like a special tile. Hugely distracting. The actual special tiles are harder to see.The AP gauges don't stand out as much and the black bar in particularly is hard to see.I don't know how else to describe it but it just hurts my eyes to look at the new board. I have to think harder before making every move, something about the new look has just slowed my ability to process the colors. Please consider changing this back or giving players the option to use the classic view. This was clearly a change that didn't need to be made and probably wasn't tested by end users.9

Biggest issues with the new UI for me are:
- the darkening on the opponent's turn (makes me think my phone is going to sleep)
- I can't tell when a yellow power is charged (the pulsing isn't visible)
- enemy special tiles are hard to distinguish (but friendly ones are much clearer)
I feel like I'll be able to get used to everything else1 -
Wow. I thought for sure that there would be a response by now. I know I am hardly alone in my awareness of how bad they are at responding to our backlash, but i am still always surprised when it happens (spoiler alert, it has happened numerous times throughout the years and will continue to do so).
The fact that we are 10 pages in and have heard hardly a peep is pretty depressing. Glanced at Reddit and Facebook, and plenty of people bring all of this up over there as well, and just as silent.
I like to think they have a coin they flip to see if they should respond to stuff. Tails, they come to the forum; heads, they say and do nothing hoping it will pass. Except someone switched it out with a two headed coin years ago...3 -
It feels like someone's 15 year old kid that's into goth and loves jelly candy got their hands on the design tools.

The update is awful. It is harder to see which of you powers are charged and ready to fire. Now I have to check my AP for every color every turn. Especially if a character has more than 1 power ready - this is invisible under the new UI.
the DARK mode is also awful. I want to see the screen, please.2 -
I think the changes made did not benefit the game. Visually the tiles do not look good both in color, size and spacing.
I can't find a justification for darkening the screen while the opponent is playing and it's annoying to plan the next moves.
The game seems slower and this is an important point that affects the gameplay and experience of beginners and veteran users. The focus should be on other visual elements, better character designs, backgrounds, effects, transitions.Better story and events planning.2 -
Just here to add to the darkening of for screen during the AI turn.. please give us tbr option to turn that off.. not sure what was the thought process on why this was necessary or wanted? Either plz plz plz give us the option to turn this off.1

Overall I like the changes with the exception of two things:
1: the dimming effect is distracting
2: AP bars are much harder to see, especially when they are nearly filled.2
