My God. That Thor deal, just blows me away if this is the direction this game is going.  What a terrible deal.

It's the same 'price value' as buying a Stark for HP directly. Essentially you get 3/4 of the HP of a Stark for 3/4 of the price. But you get 75 CP instead of just 7, and of course, the Costume.

Alternatively, you could earn more CP per dollar spent by jumping into an alliance where everyone buys a Stark when you do (7CP x 20 = 140 CP).

So, I won't be buying it either, but the value is generally in line or better than standard purchase options in the game.

I wish they would have created a simple system that for $5-$10 you can work toward earning things like costumes (or cooler stuff). Similar to a 'battle pass' in other games. Costs a bit up front, you play to earn things over time, cool. Maybe a 'VIP Gold' type of system.

Not really.  With the offseason, with a Stark you get 20K HP.  The off season 40 packs are 10K.  So you lose 2-40 packs which you get 2 LTs then.

    You wouldn't lose 2-40 packs.
The Costume purchase gets you 15,000 HP and 75 CP
That is 1-40 pack, the equivalent of 3 LT's (which is the 75 CP), and 5000 HP left over.

I think many people are so shocked by the price that they can't see the potential value (value for the few, not the many, and this is where I believe lies a missed opportunity).

*People who buy this probably have 5,000 additional HP from previous deals to spend on a 2nd 40-pack.*

Just saw the Thor bundle as well. If we were to look at purely numbers:

    Stark Salary: 20,000 HP + 7CP - 100 usd

    5* Thor thunder costume: 15,000 HP + 75 CP - 75 usd

    15,000/20,000*100=75%

    75% of 100 usd =75 usd

Logically speaking, this is a deal. For similar amount of HP, you get extra 68 CP and 1 Thor Thunder costume.

If you have a certain budget for mobile game, this will naturally look expensive to you. For those whales or 5* Thor fans, this is probably a good deal to them.

Are you seriously going to push that 80 euro "deal" into my face every time I log in?
Where's the "bugger off with that whale bait" button?

    Edit:
Apparently yes, you are going to show me this every time the app reboots.

For $75 it REALLY should have included at least 1 5Thor cover,  possibly even 1 of each color

$75 does sound steep, especially compared to previous bundle deals.  Consider the SCL 9 bundle for comparison (https://forums.d3go.com/discussion/72835/s-h-i-e-l-d-clearance-level-9-bundle-5-21-18).
    • SCL9 Bundle Contents ($39.99USD):
      • 64,000 Iso-8
      • 5,400 Hero Points
      • 15 Command Points
      • 1,400 Red Iso-8
      • 2 Latest Legends token
      • 1 Advanced Support token
      • 6 Heroic tokens
      • 6 covers of Medusa (Inhuman Queen) (2 of each ability)
      • 6 covers of Carnage (Cletus Kasady) (2 of each ability)
    • This Offer Contents ($74.99USD):
      • 15,000 Hero Points
      • 75 Command Points
      • Alternate 5* Costume

For $35USD more, you get 64,000 less ISO-8 (>$49.99 to buy in game), 9,600 more hero points (>$49.99 to buy in game), 60 more CP, 1,400 less Red Iso-8 (which has significantly less value that it would have at the time that SCL9 bundle was released), 2 less LL tokens, 1 less Advanced Support Token, 6 less Heroic tokens and twelve less 4* covers.

From how I see it, at best, you're paying $35 for alternate artwork based on this comparison.  At worst, you're paying some figure more than that.   Like all art, though, the value will vary drastically from person to person, so while I wouldn't personally do this offer, I'm sure many would reasonably choose do so.

I admit it...I bought it. I was going to use my Christmas bonus to get a Stark to replenish my HP but figured, why not save $25, give up 5K HP, but get 68 more CP?

As for the Thor costume? I personally couldn't care less. I would have bought the pack without it. I am so disinterested in costumes I don't even know where they appear in the game. I appreciate that some people do like the idea and if it is your cup of tea, enjoy. I wish I could trade you the costume for something I would find of use...

Ouch, £57.99 is a bit too much to even think about spending on this in the run up to Christmas...

The timing for this deal is weird. Would have made more sense to be after Christmas when people are getting holiday money from relatives. With it being before Christmas any last minute shoppers would probably put the last of their disposable cash into buying gifts for friends and family and not so much for themselves. I mean, speaking for myself if it's the day after Christmas I'm gonna have a big wad of Christmas cash burning a hole in my pocket so if I'm out shopping then I'll probably buy the first shiny thing that I see.

A bit sad that the double iso doesn't cover Christmas. But wow, they actually made the Christmas Shield Training less harsh this time! Riri, Ghostrider, Coulson rather than any newly released character. This will be the very first time that I will actually get a cover from Shield Training, neat!

Happy too with the essentials for Shield Training. Need to pump some ISO into GR, but other two champed, so looking forward to getting that Ham for Xmas.
