    I am completely OK with spending an extra 50 HP once in a while if it means spending a lot less on most vaults.

    I like the idea of costumes; back playing Marvel Heroes it was one of my favorite things to swap out a characters look.  I'd love to have an X-Force costume for X-23!   SO MUCH.

    The way of obtaining them, though, ehh.   The VIP method is most rewarding, to me.  The HfH store is direct and gives you HP (which at my stage of playing I still need), but others don't so I understand the frustration.   I personally find the vault to be the worst option though; as a non-whale, it could take a LOT of money to get a costume.  If the offer appears far from pay-day, welp, bad luck for me I guess.

    Seriously, i get it, different people in the company do different things, but companies have budgets.  Please redirect a few bucks towards the department that would update some of the stuff we have been clamoring for.  I get maybe not wanting to give out more 5* through feeders (i don't agree with it, but i get it), but that fact that the 3* and 4* have gone sooooo long with out an update is borderline embarrassing, no offense.

    Back to costumes, there are two things bug me about the announcement. First, that it is mentioned that they "will be available...only to players who reach particular achievements in the game."  I get that this may be about costumes in the future, and doesn't apply to the first three, but how did no one reading this see how this could be taken badly?  All you had to do was throw in a line about the first three are available for different ways of purchase, but future costumes may be earned by other various methods.  

    On the topic of purchases, why are they so rare and limited?  If resources are be pulled away from other aspects of the game, in order to presumably add revenue to the game, why restrict them with artificial scarcity? In a game where the newer players are constantly behind veterans, and the easiest way for them to catch up is by paying, you are going to lock out future new players, and also cut off your future revenue, by closing these out?  

    Secondly, bundling them 3 different ways instead of just selling outright for 50 cents or 99 cents?  I'm done.  I've spent more time than necessary already for something that wont change anyway.

    Haven't gone back through this thread to see, but has anybody noticed how similar C4ge in this alt-suit looks to Cag3? I wonder if anybody is going to get caught out by that in the Simulator or elsewhere thinking they have it under control against a 3* team and then be all "Sweet Christmas!"

    Last night, at 7:30 PM, I received a promotional email from D3go (I'm on their list) about Costumes.  Then I looked and saw that the Cage vault had closed the day before.

    I mean, I knew all about costumes.  But late communication doesn't help anyone.  At least the KK bundle is still active.

    Honestly, if I were a serious Marvel fan, I'd quit over exactly these things. This is laziness which means ain't really the lovers of the art who're making the coin.

    So the only PVE that we have that shows Cage 4*, Kamala Khan 3* and Deadpool 3* is Deadpool VS MPQ.   One would think that if D3 and Demi would want to promote this costumes they would forward think to put them on each one of these characters in this pve.  Right?  That would drive word of mouth a bit and actually seeing it.  So do you think they did this for this PVE?   Answer is No.  No they did not.  Another forward thinking miss.

    This is why I think PvE events must require approval of the rights-holders and once they're set, they're set. There seems to be some flexibility built into certain events but it's not as often as we consumers would hope or expect. Marvel must keep a very, very tight leash on how their properties are used and portrayed.

    You're misunderstanding me @Yepyep

    The original quote was suggesting Mystique gets a costume for every MPQ character and I was suggesting a way to make that actually work. Make little errors in the art to give away the fact it's Mystique and not the original character.

    I renewed my VIP 2 days ago, because inertia.  Yesterday I got the "no, I will, never, ever use you" she-pool costume, as my Day 1 reward.  Today I got 100 HP as my Day 1 reward.

    An interesting way of handling it.

    It is starting to feel like they plan like the underpants gnomes, isn't it? The whole "Step 1: Thing, Step 2: ?, Step 3: Profit!"

    We keep going from Step 1 to Step 2, over and over and over....
