I didnt, but its a good trick if you have the patience. You will eventually get plenty of good gods, its really only to get a good starter. Not horribly important, but nice. If you do it, aim for Any color Odin or Sonia, Dark Metatron, Bastet, UmiYami, Kushinada, SoD Luci....there are tons of great options. Really, as long as you get a God, I think you will be fine

You never have to pay, ever. they give away between 15-20 magic stones a month, plus you get a stone for completing a dungeon for the first time. 1 stone = 5 spots of monster space. 5 stones = 1 pull from the rare egg machine (where you get gods). You should never, ever have to pay unless you are impatient . I never hit a brick wall really - I enjoy the leveling aspect so I always have something to work towards since level caps are high, and on top of that awakenings and skill ups and plus eggs add even more on a max level monster

It is stamina based - 1 stamina per 10 minutes. full stamina refill at level up. Every other level or so increases your max stamina. At my current rank (192) I have aroudn 110 stamina, so I can go without playing for a VERY long time and not even waste any stamina, allowing me to set the schedule. there are bonus dungeons that appear at certain times, but they are generally weekly or daily things, so if you miss them, no big deal - you can get them the next time they come around.

Ok... just posted this in the Heavy Metal thread... posting here too for everyone's info

I cannot access the game... locked out - but, at least a few players are still IN the game playing, even though they can't access rosters/leaderboards. So... just got a notification that I just lost a match... and not a dang thing I can do.

One more question. How is the time requirement to advance in PaD? I started playing MPQ because it was something I could pick up for a few minutes here and there and have a good time. But lately it seems like you have to schedule your whole life around this game to progress. Is PaD the same?

You want to start playing (and reset/rerolling) during a Godfest, which comes about once every couple of weeks. There's a couple dozen "good" gods, google for 'em I guess

Progression is steady but slow, PaD is exactly a game where you pick it up for 5 minutes or a half hour here and there unless you're heavily IAP. As long as you don't mind advancing slowly, you'll do fine without any IAP whatsoever

There's going to be a godfest in a few days, ocne the server issues are dealt with. It has a bunch of good starter gods too, pretty much all the gods that are featured in it are good to amazing, except for the indian black/white ones.

yup. i had just started doing my push in Heavy Metal. Funny thing is, I remember when it started getting weird... I couldn't see the leaderboard or rosters... but then all of a sudden could see leaderboards again. At one point, I realized that in the three nodes I had - all three were in my bracket - which was odd. Skipped around a bit until I saw a name I didn't know, did that match, then did a retal - then went to shield for the 3 hours. Couldn't shield. Shut down, rebooted - locked out.

Then in the Heavy Metal thread, Pamizard said she was still playing matches.... then a few minutes later, I got the notification that I was attacked. Considering I had that situation where the 3 nodes were people in my bracket... Wondering if it looks at your "shard" as a local element, and when it couldn't connect to the main network, it defaulted to matching you with people within the bracket, because that's all it sees. If that's true - anyone still inside the game now can continue matching - and we can't get in.

I have a feeling if I would have stayed in the game, I could have continued doing matches. Only reason I shut down and restarted was because of the issues with seeing rosters/live leaderboards and then the shield purchase issue. But, doing so locked me out of the game.

Thanks for the PaD responses guys. It sounds like it's exactly what I've been looking for. A game where I can progress when I have the time and not have to schedule my life around it.

I wish MPQ could be like that but apparently there is a major disconnect between the developer's definition of fun and my own.

Maybe there's something wrong with me, but I just can't seem to enjoy having to clock in every 12 hours in pve to fight heavily community scaled mobs and lose 60 pts in the time it takes to get 20 in pvp.

From the same people as PaD there is Quiz RPG, which is my "other" mobile game (although I have been playing very little the past couple of weeks thanks to MPQ demanding so much time, which I'll rethink in Season 2 especially with this latest round of non-communication). The same general system, except the gameplay is answering trivia questions of the appropriate colour/s instead of match 3 gameplay. IAP not really required but it'll give you a leg up early to buy some crystals early and do a Megainvocation at a time they allow reinvocations (basically like being allowed to re-open a pack of 10 heroic tokens in this game) so you have a bunch of good spirits to level. There's so much new stuff added to the game since I began (like the Spirit Index rewards and the S-class books and the 4th chapter of the story) that it must be even easier to get good spirits and level them now.

i love how sometimes i'll get the "check internet connection" page when they are having issues. no D3, YOU check YOUR servers and system. my internet is fine.

it's just like how on the rare occasion that my game crashes and i lose a token i'll send a ticket to cs and their response is that it's my phone and os. no D3, it is not my phone or os. it is YOUR application and YOUR fault.
