I just organically pulled a 14th Ghost Rider, so even though we will be able to save all the things before it expires, I'll probably champ him in solidarity for this thread I've helped push out to 6 pages lol. After that, i'm planning to let Shield Training drive my order of spend to get characters to 209 since doing so costs only 150k iso from lvl 70

I have to admit to being a little underwhelmed at champed Ghost Rider so far. I might take him for a spin in his own PvE currently playing however.

I'm going to be honest here,  I never would have predicted 6 pages from this question.

So, with the new feature of practically unlimited saved covers I built myself a matrix of where I want my iso to go.  My general plan is to get everyone that I can to level 209ish.  If I need to stay to champ someone,  I can but in general,  i'm not stressing nearly as much about the iso crunch.

Another thing to keep in mind; if you have any 4* in the 270 range (or 290, etc), try and get them to 280/300/etc if they're not a feeder yet.  Sure there's no rhyme or reason to who becomes a feeder, but if they become one then you double dip with a 5* cover and a LL.

And yes, this is where all the cool kids hang out.  We should have our own forum merit badge 

Oh and I'd be remiss if I didn't say, it's the No Roland113s Club; only one is allowed as per Stonecutter Rules

It's funny, looking at my roster and kind of extrapolating how long it will take for me to get everyone to 209 was much more disheartening than looking at the same roster and feeling overwhelmed by how long it is going to take to get everyone champed; maybe because I have a majority of characters with 10+ covers, but significantly less with 13+?

I just checked and I have 24 characters who can be raised to 209, some of them can be champed, others not. That suddenly seems quite a lot of iso again but I guess I'm in no rush.

That's true, I also have 25 characters eligible for 209 status, less than half of those are champable right now. I am thinking trying to bank up 450k iso as a reserve for when a shield training rolls around, and then start trying to build up enough iso to champ whoever i need on top of that moving forward.

I just counted,  I have 11 that could be leveled up at this point.   24/25 is a daunting number.

if you think about it as "only" having 1-3 characters that need to go to 209 it isn't too bad. Consider: if you only level them as Shield Training requires them, you have time to bank up some iso in between runs. Odds are decent at least one of your existing champs or lvl 209 characters will be on the list for some of these runs, and every third character relase is (currently) a 5* that doesn't get a training event. So you only need to maintain an iso reserve big enough to level the ones you need when you need them to accomplish it.

I took Gamora, Valkyrie and Star Lord to level 209 to join Red Hulk and Miles, I feel a bit better now.

And Champed Elektra can add Honour Amongst Thieves to her collection of usefulness - her purple power being able to steal those buffed chunky strike tiles was very useful!

There's a lot to be said for targeted steal, even when un-buffed (Star Lord). So even though hers doesn't buff them like Medusa's does, it not only guarantees a steal, it turns them into strikes for you as well.

Yeah, she worked pretty well with Quake. Although during one match it was basically both sides doing 1 damage (me for matching them for their aoe) or Elektra absorbing damage via black her until I could finally get shot of their super-buffed defensive tile via Quakes blue.

I'm enjoying her boosted, the steal enemy strike tiles really help this event in particular.

Yeah, sorry, the answer turned out to be both.  Now we've just pretty much been discussing 4 star leveling strategies for the last few pages and how awesome champed Electra is (ok, awesome may be an exaggeration, maybe 'situationally decent?')
