    I do indeed have Riri champed.

    Vulture is sitting at something like lvl 236 - I hadn't champed him yet as I was hoping for an extra cover to get the LT and he is perfectly useable for his AP gen where he is at. He will definitely get champed though.

    Gamora is an interesting one - I have been meaning to champ her for ages but until now another cover would come along on the vine for someone else to champ. To date I have managed to get along with R4G + other Guardian for clearing PvE and so she hasn't really been much of a priority. Iso-wise it would be cheaper to champ 4Lord to use on my Guardian team. If I pulled another Gamora though I would probably go for it.

    At present I could champ Ghost Rider who has a cover on the vine, champ Ant Man who has 4 saved covers or Lockjaw or Fury who also have vine covers. Nothing is really jumping out at me though.

    RNG is definitely the deciding factor on my roster as well; I champed Kraven over Peggy, and will probably champ Elektr4 over Peggy as well (certainly X23, maybe even Spider-Woman) because i'm trying to save covers on the vine.

    I tend to be OK to let one cover of a mediocre character go in deference to a better character and Gamora is definitely well overdue as she has been covered for months. My current problem is that I can't decide who is worth the iso from those with covers on the vine/saved so am champing none of them! I nearly went Ant-Man for SHIELD Training but as my Infini-Spidey can't reach 209 it doesn't seem worth it.

    Well, in the spirit of this thread, do Ghost 4ider lol. Ant-Man's covers are saved, so they aren't going anywhere.

    I lost out on Kid Nova, he quietly withered and died last night on the vine. I have a day left to get Elektr4 champed, which I feel I similarly owe to the thread. I need 100k to do it, then I'll have 7 days to start grinding for X23 before the first of those covers starts to shrivel. My last 2 2* champs are both at 142, so it's not impossible for me to save Elektr4 at the expense of a cover or two on X23...

    Does damage absorbed by Elektra's black count for Ghost Rider's Penance Stare?

    i love marginal edge cases...somebody champ both these characters and spend hours testing it out for us!

    No, I just tested this in the Simulator node with Strange DP and Thanos. Using Shadow Step negated the damage from Flames of Faltines, but the Penance Stare damage counter didn’t increase. Subsequent enemy matches against Elektra also didn’t increase the counter.

    Guys, this news about (effectively) unlimited saved covers means i can join the champion elektr4 club without worrying about these 3 x-23s right behind her. If i can come up with just one more ares today, i'll be able to save her.

    Awesome! This must mean an Elektra themed event is only just around the corner (with boosted Ghost Rider as well of course) or why else would they have done this?

    I am 100% expecting a Ghost 4ider->Gho5t Rider feeder announcement before too long, so hopefully that's true.

    Alright y'all, I decided to just say #YOLO and sell my max-champ mohawk storm to save Elektr4, so now I too am in the cool kids club. I will be sure and let you all know once we see simulator again how well Elektr4/Lockjaw/Kraven works

    Players transitioning to or in the 4-star tier no longer have to worry about hoarding to avoid cover loss due to lack of iso or things like the dreaded 5/5/0 cover spread. They may still need to hoard, however, for lack of roster slots and opening a character they don't have and can't roster.

    I'll still hoard for RoadWarrior's reasoning. Like right now I am avoiding 5Wasp like the plague and I'll wait for her to leave the latest three - unless she gets a major re-work.

    Oh, I'll probably start hoarding when I get into 5 star land, but that shouldn't be until some time after Christmas if I'm on my mark.
