    I've never viewed Nova as 'Carol-lite', despite them sharing two colors. Carol needs friends (countdown/special tile generators) otherwise she can be too slow on her own. Nova self-synergizes and his powers are relatively cheap, so he can fill rainbow holes on a variety of teams without having to worry if he works well with the teammates you're putting him with. Plus, if he's boosted and Carol is not, he's often a better choice.

    It's really hard for me to properly grok his full value add to my team pre-champ, but I like his gimmick and he's fun the times I've used him when he's required. The other reason I'm not as invested in saving this cover is that Strang3 is only 7 covers from giving me another one, so if hard choices need to be made, I really want to save P4nther and Elektr4 if I can, then I also now have an X23 on the vine waiting on iso. And it looks like Spider-Woman is going to be required soon, which will have her on the pile...I really need to start hoarding lol.

    Breaking news: I was able to max champ 2* thor from pvp and got the iso to champ P4nther. New challenge: come up with another 366k iso in the next 5 days to save nova.

    This is where MPQ could do with an Alliance player iso loan system - you could borrow the iso from your alliance mates and pay it back weekly!

    So, I believe I've got both, thanks double ISO.  I champed Electra and have 7 days to get about 75K for Ghost Rider.  I've got this one.

    Sweet. I expect followup on how you like them once they are both champed lol

    I don't know if I'd take a loan, these little meta-challenges of racing to earn resources are kind of most of the fun outside of winning under-covered Crashes for me.

    Maybe if I put them together, Maximize purple and red for Electra, Black and Green for GR then add like Nick Fury as a Simulator team and leave them out there cause no one is going to understand why I'd use that team with my roster and let it just coast forever.

    Hmmm, now the question is which one of them do you put in the middle as the most "huh?" character....

    I would love to know how many people skip the teams i leave in lol. I'm sure most times it's from having a low point value, but it would be interesting to see how many people saw it and said "No sir, I don't like it..." and just moved on.

    I still say that running Elektr4 with Kraven and Lockjaw is high comedy, and would almost certainly hurt some feelings

    That's a great idea.  Since I run multiple teams in SIM so I don't have to waste too many healthpacks, it sure would be helpful to know which teams are being skipped and which are being attacked.

    Regarding Ghost Rider's black, how does it determine who has dealt attack tile damage? Could you kickstart that with Carnage and judicious targeting, or are those attacks "owned" by the character that made them?

    Medusa/Carnage/Ghost Rider might be a very skippable team in that case.

    Did it with three days to spare, I now have both Electra and Ghost Rider champed so that I can never use them.

    I now have America, Big Pun, Mockingbird, Kraven and IW with 13 covers.  It's time to hoard which I hate and am horrible at but I'm at a low in Iso.

    I've got America up first cause she's got one on the vine from this morning's pulls.  After her, I'll champ Big Pun and probably Mockingbird.  Once I get those three champed, I'll level my other four stars to their softcap levels.

    I softcap at 209 while I'm waiting for ISO, anyone that I have the ISO and covers to get to 209, I do so for future shield training missions.  I've got Bobby and Kate at 210 (characters that I want to favorite so they can be champed next), then finally I keep everyone with 13 covers at 211.  Its an organization system that works well for me.

    I ended up burning 70k iso on X-Force Wolverine's crash, so i'm unlikely to save Nova by tomorrow. So i may be right behind you with Elektr4, or I may skip her and just throw it at X-23 who I somehow have 3 on the vine for now...

    Ah, that sucks but sacrifices must be made.  X-23 is pretty good when boosted, but at this point I rarely use her.  If I remember correctly, my first three were X-23, Cyclops and Nova.  Nova I still use sometimes but the other two are rarely used unless they're boosted.

    I have plenty of usable 4s, so i'm not really losing sleep over any of these. I'm up to 24 champions, and with Vulture/G4mora at good levels, I can hit 900 in pvp with a loaner even if neither are boosted. At this point it's just fun looking for weird teams, and reducing cover waste.

    I'm a little ahead of you and in a similar boat.  There are a few that I'm chasing, most notably Iceman, Kate and Moon Knight, but none of those are gamechangers at this point.  I'm mostly just in completionist stage.  i don't know that I have the energy to play seriously at the 5 star level, though it's starting to loom in the distance.  Everything I've heard about the tier says that I want to stay in four star land as long as I can.

    Same; I'm hype every time I get a 5*, but I don't relish the idea of transitioning because the road to 13 covers on any given character is a long one. I'm not built to hoard in this game, I'm happy to just spend my CP in classics as I get it, or in Latest until I get a cover for the new character to stay able to progress in PVE.

    Cyclops always seems to be boosted for Apocalypse and he is a pretty decent boss killer for that. His limitations were shown though in the recent boost list when Riri was boosted too and you would nearly always fire her red over his conditional one.

    I'll sometimes use X23 just to absorb damage and heal. Her green is sadly underwhelming and her purple is down to luck but she isn't terrible by any means.

    I'm also in similar boat otherwise. I just let the umpteenth Venom cover expire and I have Lockjaw and Fury on the vine which will probably just go to iso as I can't see me champing them anytime soon. I've become more interested in MEH Hulk having used him as essential and I fully covered him this weekend, so he might be a candidate for the iso I'm stockpiling. Otherwise it is Ant-man, Gamora, War Machine, Vulture, Star-Lord, Yondu, Ghost Rider or Flaptain. Valkyrie is also one cover away but who knows how lonmg that might take to get, no HfH offer triggered yet.

    I have to imagine you have a playable roster at this point, but Vulture and G4mora in my mind are a top-tier duo that I will fall back on even if neither are boosted to clear hard nodes. Get Vulture in the air, stun-lock everyone with G4mora, and clean up with Vulture's green. It isn't the fastest PVP clear team, but it is super reliable and will let you climb largely damage free (particularly with AP boosts) for the better part of an event.

    I'm going to second TheRoadWarrior above.  Gamora and Vulture are top tier.  It sounds like you may have Riri champed, Vulture with Riri is devastating.  That was my team pretty much all of last week and I just mopped up.
