You know everything happens in 3's, so watch your next pull be Elektra, not the 4* one, but the horrible 3* one...

This discussion has gone on way longer than expected.  To add insult to injury, I randomly got another Ghost Rider so now there's two on the vine.  I'm gunning for both, but it means something to the effect of 360K iso in nine days.  With double ISO and a lucky 2 star pull from the farm I might be able to do it.

Pulling for you Roland.  Champ them so they can sit there until boosted; it's the MPQ way

I feel that pain my dude, I've got a P4nther expiring in 3 days, and i need 200k, hot on those heels is a Nova with 7d left, and an Elektr4 with 9d left. I'd have enough for P4nther right now if I hadn't chosen to champ my Last Remaining 3* the other day, but I kind of had to close that book, you know? I have Mohawk Storm at max-champ with a dupe rostered, and Patch is getting close as well (lvl 259), so It's not inconceivable that I can do it, but I don't know how i feel about dumping 3*s with that much time sunk into them yet, particularly not to save a single cover.

Earlier this year I had 5 covers on the Vine for Quake following a boss event and 4 covers on the Vine for another 4*. I managed to champ both which I think required somewhere in the region 400k iso (could be wrong about amount but was a lot) from where they were in the 13 or so days I had. I am by no means a prolific MPQ player but with a few 2* flips and some do levels up I managed it. So it can be done, good luck to you. Oh and yes, in case you were guessing, that other 4* was indeed Elektra. There is a thread in this very forum about it!

I'm like right behind you, my 3* Grocket is Max Champed, Patch and Strange aren't too far behind.  I already sold one of the Grocket covers off for ISO.  I just don't think I have the energy to farm my 3 star characters.  I'm with you, I've spent so much time getting them to where they are now, I don't want to start again with them.  I don't want to waste the ISO / Hero Points to dupe them either.

Thanks Daz.  I calculated, I have two of my 2 stars at 144 and covers on the vine which will net me a quick 130K.  I've also got three more 2 star characters that are within 5 covers of the magical 144 so if I pull enough of them, I should do it.  This one of those rare times when I pull a 2 star from a heroic and I'm like 'yeah baby!'

Electra 4*

Ghost Rider black is a very good power but his other two powers are bad.  I think Elektra is underrated myself. I think her purple and black are much better than people think since so many of the 4* that get play use tiles now.  Her red is her worst power and it really isn't too bad.  It is better than Ghost Rider red. Her black is good it shields you from damage for 5 turns/power combinations and then deals damage to the opponent.  I have used this power to shield myself from AI big damage powers (unless AoE effect of course) since you can generally predict when the AI is going to fire its powers. I would go with Elektra.  

It is the question of taking Ghost Rider due to his one great power or the better well rounded character in Elektra.  Ghost Rider is all offense and Elektra is a decent combination of offense/defense, somewhat a rarity in character build these days.  Not counting boosts, I never use Ghost Rider but from time to time I have chosen to use Elektra for her utility depending on my other team members.  That being said you won't be using either of them much based on your roster, so it doesn't really matter as you stated in your post.

I think she is more overshadowed than underrated. She'd be a perfectly capable 4-star if she didn't have any peers that do what she does either better and/or cheaper (or in some cases, passively).

Ghost Rider is interesting as a boss fight specialist, but the meta for MPQ is such that he isn't too awesome as a grind character or an offensive PVP weapon due to how slow/needs health he is. It's nearly impossible to know if people see your team in PVP and skip you, but I think Ghost Rider is one of those characters that might be more trouble than he is worth to combat for a lot of folks, and might be a strong defense play with the right other obnoxious team mates.

Update, I'm at 438K ISO, I need 223K for Electra, 358K for Ghost Rider with 6 days.  I need a total of 581K so I've got a week to get another 150K.  I think I've got a pretty good chance of getting both.

I haven't added it up but I think you can get 6-7k iso from DDQ alone daily (not including any bonuses if you have purchased anything last 28 days) so that would be 36-42k or so just for that.

Sounds very doable.

there is 6500 iso-8 in DDQ, not including anything you get from tokens or covers it gives out.

you can easily get 150k in a week; i would suggest keeping an eye on lightning rounds and thanos-clearing seeds. On paper the rewards don't look like much, but in practice every match gives you something towards your goal, and 2 seeds is usually good for a standard token. I don't find them worth sinking real time into, but jumping in and killing a 1* with 500 hit points and having Thano5 clear the rest takes less time than navigating through the menus to actually start the fight. If you're farming, all those covers add up to shield ranks which can be nearly as much as selling off a 2* max champ depending on where you are.

Not to make this thread about my own roster, but I have a day left to come up with 100k iso if I'm going to save this P4nther cover. I'm super torn on whether or not I should sell off my only max-champ 3* for the 105k, or just let it go and use this iso for the Nova that's right behind him with 5d left. I'm in a particularly bad spot for quick iso because i'm down to just 3 non-bagman 2* champions. If i get 2 more covers for Thor from random pvp round-ending rewards or wherever, then I could probably do it without selling storm.

Don't think Category 5 is due to run again for a while so you could probably re-champ Storm in the time between.

I know what you mean though - I also currently have just the one max champed 3 and the idea of selling them is very hard to entertain even if it meant champing a 4.

I would probably let P4nther go.

I think I can do it, I think I can I think I can I think I can . . . I've played more PvP over the past week than I have at any point before, lightning rounds included.

Regarding your dilemma Road Warrior, I can at least say that ISO spent on Nova is a good cause . . . (I was going to write more but just realized I have a meeting to go to.

I'll wait till the last possible second, see what happens. I like the idea of Nova but with C4rol champed I don't really have a nova-shaped hole in my roster.
