Good, but I'd like an extra pie of battles.

This is a terrible event. The Weatherlight just puts all the objective cards you need to cast straight into your hand. Where's the challenge in that?
You... you use the Weatherlight? The thing is an auto-exile in every node but 2.3

I'd be fine with another node, but I'm also okay with this how it is.  It can be fun to grind on five-node events, but not every single weekend.  And knowing we have R2O coming up back to back with this, I'm content with a low-pressure event.  I'd rather have seen them flipped, with R2O over the weekend and AWR during the week.

I like 3 pies. I'm really happy we don't have 500hp bosses. I don't want to see that return.

... Well, fine, if you want to wait to draw the 4 knights or 4 elves or whatever under your own steam, you can, but personally, I'll have one every turn guaranteed, thanks.

dont care for the only 2 nodes but it isnt bad, for a first run of an event i can live with it, usually first runs lead to grumbles and not finishing, this time still remaking deck so only got 2 up and running right so 2 it is lol

Not enough! I want more meaningful playtime on the weekends.
I didn't answer this because they scheduled another event this weekend -- and I don't see "I have another opinion" as an option. I think it's perfect with another coalition event. We have been begging for things to do on Sunday -- now we have this nice little event, that almost anyone can get progression on with some effort -- and a robust coalition event.

I normally don't like overlapping coalition events, but this seems to be a nice balance.

.. But the wrong way around. The new event could run easily during the week.. I hope it's just because it is the first time they run it!

This is a great point -- it would make a perfect mid-week event -- a bit to do, good rewards and not too much of a time commitment so we can focus on school, work, family, etc :)

Buggy garbage.  Nothing like losing matches because it can't communicate with game servers, so you lose your full win, AFTER you already won it.

Just right. I want to do more with my weekends that just play this game!
I managed to halfway get my points. My server issue seems to have been because I hadn't noticed there's a new 2.7 update for Android. Anyway, I'm listed at 35 points, but I got the 50 point reward, access to 2.3, and 40 coalition points. Weird.

This event needs to be a bit harder.  The final fight, which is supposed to be the most difficult one, is a total joke.
Sure, the node "rule" is scary and combos with its ability.  But it doesn't cast anything stronger than a 2/2 Origins Common (as far as I've seen), and doesn't do much else to combo with anything.  I'm not impressed at all

I like the new event and the "feel" and story it brings. I also like having more time for other stuff.

This is a nice little event, but it's also just a nice little event.

This event is casual heaven. I was able to go out with friends on Friday night, do yard work on Saturday, and spend yet more time with friends on Saturday night - and I didn’t miss a charge!

My only “complaint” is that none of the nodes were particularly challenging.

is true it would be a good mid week event, and i thought it was just me that had a problem last night with the 2.2 event boss, thought i won but didnt advance or give me points but i knew i won. (there may have been a intoxicating liquid involved)

I don't hate having to spend a little less time on the game this weekend, but it does feel like it's missing a third, hardest node in terms of the difficulty of the event.

I think it's nice to have a relaxing coalition event every once in awhile. Plus, I think there's actually a good chance that one coalition or another will get all perfect scores on this event sometime, and I think that'd be cool.

Great, less time during the weekend! But why oh why did you have to start a five node coalition event for the working week?

A 'bit' harder? Only a bit? We live in a world where cycling has been deemed not worthy of a nerf, where the 5 card restriction on bounce has been stripped away, and players are slinging around cards like Etali, Ghalta, and Gaea's Revenge, and yet the hardest boss in this event is fielding Auramancer, Merfolk Trickster and Seperatist Voidmage (who, amusingly, is still stuck with that 5 card bounce restriction, which the Weatherlight neatly plays around).

Why don't they just give us event rewards without having to play an event at all? It would save them a lot of time designing it, and us a lot of time playing it, and, judging by a lot of the comments in this thread, not having to play the game very much is something that MTGPQ players value highly.
