Its about the % that get the cover from alliance reward 100,000 plus players 100 alliance all with 20 people.
The bar is filling about about 10% an hour currently with at 14.5% now
yeah, filling quickly. Not even sure it would still be open in 12 hours for a refresh at this rate.
wow so at that rate if I enter tomorrow morning I will already be down one sub? or two maybe? There aren't any super iso bonuses like the simulator are there? also, is first time completion reward back? I'm ok with missing some progression rewards for an easier shot at daken.0 -
NorthernPolarity wrote:IceIX, is rubberbanding for a particular sub still based off of the point leader in that sub? If so, this crazy end times might be a problem. I guess we'll experience what the europeans have to deal with all the time for a change.0

I'm thinking doing a clear now, rather than waiting, may be a good tactic, consider we have no idea how long the sub will even exist. Not seeing how to even plan to try to hit top 20 without an idea of how long it will remain open.0 -

At the rate its increasing now (10%/hour it looks like), we're going to be done with the sub by the end of tonight due to rubberbanding accelerating the growth rate. All of you guys should join by the end of the first sub if you want to give your alliances a good shot at the daken cover.0 -

Joining a main bracket now and not doing a good run at the sub could really back fire if you miss the end of it with very little points. This variable timing added a whole new dimension to the meta game.0 -

yeah, I'm not touching anymore nodes after that one clear. Hopefully it will last at least another 12 hrs. Will judge later if I need to start some more clears though early.0 -

It's definitely more complicated, but I think the tried and true strategies are still the way to go. Assuming that refreshes are still 12 hours, you just need to look at whether or not the current sub is on pace to be cleared in 12 hours. Given how the current sub is on course, the optimal strategy is the same its always been: clear the sub right before it ends (so maybe at 90%?) to maximize rubberbanding. It gets hairier when the subs last greater than the refresh rate, but you can probably just be safe and do early clears so that you're ready. Having a progress bar tracker would be pretty nice though to predict when you would need to do this. Demiurge randomly messing with the point values could also mess this strategy up, unfortunately.0 -
Rampage at 241...
Makes me want to quit this very instance...
Seems I have the highest levels currently? Yay for me I guess ;/
And I only did 2 refreshes each sub last PvE event... what a load of bull _-_0 -

Definitely does... wow. Good luck morgh. Not sure why you've gotten the scaling bug this time.0 -
Just went through everything in City once, got me up to #2 in my... bracket or standings or whatever we want to call it.I'll probably give it a bit to heal up and stuff, then start going through again.
And woo hoo. Just got a Red Patch out of my Oscorp: Heroic pack.0 -
Considering it's not time based anymore, I wonder if there's a maximum number of subs until the end of the event. Like if the community keeps clearing subs at this speed we can have a sub every ~12 hours instead of the usual 2 days.
I know scaling will slow things down eventually but I'm curious if this would make late progression rewards more attainable.0 -

I'm going to guess there are maybe 3 or 4 different sub events for this Heroic one. It all just depends on how bad the scaling is, really. If it gets too high too quickly, people will stop trying that much.0 -
Ice can you please talk to the devs and ask if they can lower the healing algorith for scaling in this event seeing as we got patches as the main focus anyone with xx5 will be utterly screwed becaue it wont save you from ares instakill at high enough levels making some nodes impossible and trying to deny 5 green 10 red and 10 yellow all at the same time is impossible i suppose you could use caps stun but that still require yoy to keep him and yourself alive from the other 2 which will also be a pain0

20%... It's midnight. I wonder if I should go to sleep or wait.0

Love the structure of these tournaments. Open time line do to user progression. The scaling will probably be based on rounds instead of points earned. The prize for previous tournament will allow you to improve with the difficulty. Great setup. Good job devs.0

I have a question with this event. Ive completed each node that's currently available and repeatedly finished them out until they only gave 1 point per completion. I had been in 1st place for my apparent bracket and now other players have vastly surpassed my score. How is this even possible? I simply cannot compete due to no node giving me any points.. am I doing something wrong here? Is there a way to reset nodes?0
