Shielded up at 930 which is currently 6th in my bracket. I'm guessing that may not be good enough for 10th if the previous couple have been any indication. Unlike the falcon pvp where I broke last minute to get the extra Patch cover, I probably won't break here. Don't really care about extra Loki covers, he's not getting any ISO anyway.

Came out of the match, instantly shielded, and then noticed my points were showing as 915. I tried waiting, and restarting the game, no change. It's like that from beginning, ignore what after-match report shows, it just adds the day-old numbers. That score quite never matches the reality as both your and opponent's score is in flux. You have to go to player rank list to fetch the actual standing -- and even that page is infested with inconsistent info, the number on the top can lag behind the number in the table.

If you keep switching top/player rank the table shows the actual value for the moment.

Certainly your score can change in the seconds from your last look till the shield request is processed on the server, but at least you start from reasonably correct information.

TL;DR: ignore the after-match report.

Shielded at 842, can't be bothered to try for more. Currently 14 in my bracket, let's see if I can get top 25 to break even in HP.

Well I started this morning with about 18 hours left in the tourney. No names I recognize in the top ten yet but top ten is already over 900 points. After getting 24th in the last tourney with over 1k points I hope is one is a little easier.

Ugh, damn. I was trying to get around 750 points and that's when I started getting attacked constantly. I've probably been attacked twice while writing this. And I can't find anyone that gives over 30 points anymore.

Going to try to get around 700 points now and then just Shield.

I did my best to skip forum members but its not nice out there. I think I hit the same guy 5 times because he was the only one offering me 30+ points and every time he came up in my queue he was worth less

I think I avoided a death bracket but still have clintman at the top because I joined one with less than 24 hours left in the tourney last night. Not enough heavies left to populate the bracket with grade A rosters. Still may fall out of top 10 with 1029 again, 1k went down into the 20+ range last event...

what really sucks is to be at 800ish pts and get attacked by someone with 200 pts for a 46 hit, and your retaliate is only 3. thats messed up.

how would bracketing scores go? like 0-200 only show up to each other, 201-400, 401-600 and so on?

shielded above 700pts until the end. Not an exceptional score but I really thought that I couldn't go above 300!
I change my team to take Patch+2*Thor with my mid-level Rag, much more offensive.
Also, I suffered many (painful) defeats that may have help me: at the start, I only saw teams with 3 141lvl, while for my last push I managed to see teams with mixed 141 + 85 lvl.

exactly. Charging us for skipping 5 point matches, ridiculous.

Just got shield fuc*ed. Threw up a shield. Score looks fine after shielding ..few seconds later...-40. Score says the same though, look at the score on the leader oars list and it lowered while shielded... Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Edit: anybody have any idea if they reimburse fo dat ish? Don't wanna waste my time but I am "mothers dayin" so any sec I get to play is meaningful lol

Same happened to me earlier today. It was only like 27 I think but still not a happy occurrence. I had been shielded for half a minute before the message popped up with 2 attacks, one was shielded and the other wasn't. Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

edit: didn't report it, but maybe I should? Haven't done that before so not even sure what to do.
