Yup. I got hit twice within a minute of my shield running out.

(And then I compounded the problem by making a complete balls-up of the retaliations so I'm much worse off than I was 10 minutes ago)

You tap/click the shield icon in the main PvP event page (with the 3 nodes) and a box should open up to prompt you on which of 3 options you want. You pick the 3 hour shield and it should kick in. Then you'll be able to see attacks that come in, but it will not take any points off.

Nothing like a match where the game spawns 60% yellow tiles (and 0% pink) and you don't have any yellow user on your team, and the other team has Thor. :X

Edit: And somehow I lost 20 on a match that would've gained me 25? Did this guy just get creamed without my queue updating? Argh.

Same happened to me earlier today. It was only like 27 I think but still not a happy occurrence. I had been shielded for half a minute before the message popped up with 2 attacks, one was shielded and the other wasn't. Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

edit: didn't report it, but maybe I should? Haven't done that before so not even sure what to do.

this happens a lot actually, it's really caused by server lag in notifying you of the attack. the attack really did take place when you were unshielded (in server time) but the alert took a while to get to you.

I mean, yea, I know WHY it happens..its just I was wondering if ppl have tried and received compensation for it happening...as to spend hp is to effectively spend money and if you shield @1230 and only get 1199 you are no longer receiving the good "use of shield @1240" that you paid for. Legally being right and being willing to put in the time for them to admit it are two completely different beasts lol. So just wondering if others had tried before.

Also, the initial post was really to.just show my displeasure at what amounted to shielding to jump 30 points instead of 75 or something (difference between staying 2nd and becoming 1st in this case). I know it happens quite often to ppl as I've read plenty of complaints similar to mine. Someone talking to me while playing wasn't helping my kill times..nor was rag's hp lol. He k, its happened to me before...this time it bothered me as it might cost me ha ing to use another shield now.

Tower I am sitting at #3 (5261) and waiting on a full refresh. Apparently everyone else is too because no has moved in the top 10 in over an hour.

But GOOOOOOOD LAWD! As soon as I hit 618, I started getting attacked like crazy! I've been attacked like maybe 5 times all day. I hit 618, I got hit 10 times in 5 minutes. Sheesh!

congrats on the double cap cover. I wish I can get to 600 but once i hit around 500, i get put up against teams i can't fight against or I dont have confidence I can't beat since i dont have any 2* maxed yet.

I'm at around 425-450 but I decided to shield myself hoping i get some points for the total shield season. I dont see myself getting cap. On the bright side, I got a OBW cover from a fight, maxing Espionage, i'm well on my way to maxing her covers out.

Anyone here from 5dv? How much HP did KingSucram blow in the last hour shieldhopping? That looked like 5 jumps to me.

I hope he's playing for the win and not for a Green X-Force cover. That would just be sad.

Sitting at 24th right now with 848 points.Brackets have been sucking a lot this last week.

Just the other week I got top 10 for the other Doctor's Orders (the one giving CMag as a reward) with a lot less points than this. Either my MMR got way up or they really messed up with the brackets...

I'm not sure what's going on with MMR and the brackets, but in addition to whatever that is, I also think people are just getting more and more competitive because the Season 1 Event is getting closer to the end, which is driving all our scores up.

yeah, I was 2nd in that doc orders...that's how I got my cmags finally. I wasn't worried about 1st in it, just mainly getting mags.

Used 4 shields so far total actually. Never on here but glad to have a fans more just enjoy hitting unshielded x-men so alliance finishes 2nd. But wouldn't advise pushing for first!
