    Yea, I don't know what to say about the events. Plus side, 1300 is readily obtainable with a few shield hops now. Downside, 1300 doesn't even guarantee u top 5 anymore

    Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll just stay put. The more I think of it, this is probably a test by D3 to see if they can increase shield sales through making **** brackets like this one.

    I'm not giving into this ****. I'll just stay shielded until the end.

    I only have 5 patch covers but I don't even like him that much anyhow. Punisher is a lot more fun IMO.

    you know...you may be onto something. Through all the people that they know frequent the forum a lot, monitor point totals, shield buys, shield hops, etc. Just think of the metrics they are getting off of our bracket alone?

    i clawed my way to 6th in my bracket with 1094. lets see if that is enough to get my last yellow cover.

    Also, created a new topic asking devs to explain if changes have been made to how PVP brackets are created.

    I think, if D3P actually wants brackets like this, may they should break up the rewards bit. Like, both covers good for top 20, then 20-35 one reward, 35-50 the other. Something like that.

    There are literally so many of us bottlenecked in the 20 it's redunkulous. Hell, I'm just happy to still be in the top 20 right now with so many heavy hitters around me, lol.

    I, too, am in this demonic bracket. #10 is now at 1112, and 1004 is only good for #19. Holy cats.

    They could possibly make it so a given score guarantees 2 covers and then another score for 1 cover maybe? So if you score 1100 in our insane bracket you can at least still get the 2 covers despite being out of top 10.

    Also I think I might have to break shield at some point just to climb back to top 25,which at 997 is kind of crazy.

    I'm still holding on to my #1 spot. But people are creeping up the list. icon_e_confused.gif

    Another player was shielded earlier when he moved up to #4, now he is back down to #9.
    What's weird is that I read on here all the time about everyone shielding, and other posters are showing the entire top 10 as shielded, and there is only 2 shielded in my bracket. Me and #9.

    it does seem crazy that were even talking about that...I mean, 997 is a respectable score, or at least, I thought I was. But to not even be in the top 20 with that is insane, lol.

    you are definitely in a completely different type of bracket than most of us. Only thing I can think of is its gotta be MMR related, at least for you.

    you are definitely in a completely different type of bracket than most of us. Only thing I can think of is its gotta be MMR related, at least for you.

    I am thinking so too. The only things that sways me from thinking that, is that there are some teams on my match up that have characters at 5000-6000 health. That's more than double any of my characters. My highest health character is Daken at 2710.

    Ugh, I hate how the first click never registers when you try to replace your Falcon with the guest one. Just burnt a Revive pack because I tried to hit fight.

    So now 10th is at 1030, and not only are all the teams I can find 141s (my highest char is 105), but they all give 15-18 points, no matter how much I skip. Just like in Doctor's Orders.

    I'm not certain whether it's due to alliances, season 1, the new MMR formula, or bracketing magic, but something terrible has been happening in the last three PVPs

    Sounds close to ours. 10th in our bracket is 1134. I have 1042 points and in 16th.

    According to Ghast ( see viewtopic.php?f=20&t=7098), his alt and him joined two different brackets in pvp even though they joined at the same time. So looks like bracketing is based somewhat on MMR/ roster.
