    This just effectively nueters classic tokens. Not because people can't continue to pull from them, but now we're forced into trying to pull from latest to acquire at least one cover for each latest.

    Really, if this is the policy from here on out, players need a guaranteed, at the very least, one cover earned from each 5 star release. Those of us unlucky enough not ro pull a gambit are going to be screwed when he is soon the featured 5 node.

    There wasn’t. But there’s a lot of precedent for running two very close together one around a 5* release and other around a 4*. Since Nightcrawler will most likely be 4* and will still fit the theme, I’ll be shocked if he isn’t launched with a rerun.

    Yup. On the second anniversary they actually released Rhulk and 4*Cyke through two runs of Galactus. It would be very fitting to the X-Men themed anniversary if in it's afterglow Nightcrawler gets released/featured in a second run of Apocalypse.

    Yeah I'm thinking a rerun with Nightcrawler as the 4* prize and any of the X-Men that weren't boosted during the first event will get some love this time like Iceman and X-23. Then maybe a long event like Enemy of the State after it for two Nightcrawler progression covers.

    Surely they'd give a bit more warning if another alliance event was coming up.  I suspect we'll just see another regular story event (or a new story event if we're lucky).

    Maybe it'll be paired up with a side event like the Rogue character release (although that was quite frustrating if you didn't have enough covers for the required characters).

    One run of Civil War - the alliance event that really needs the most warning to pick the best side - was run with, iirc, about 19 hours notice.  It is very possible that they will rerun AvXmen this Thursday.

    I think they will pause the side event for new characters this time around, although they may give a way to get more Rogue or, perhaps, the next reworked toon.

    @mexus   The new season should start Thursday.  I see no reason they would change from past practices. (It will be back to the 2000 grind in Simulator for a Rogue cover.)

    I hope so, that last one was fun!! I actually like the gauntlet, but Xmen v Apocalypse was great!!!

    Yeah that's my issue too.  I love boss events but the rewards structure for them hasn't been updated to keep pace with the PvE event reward improvements over time.  It needs a rework badly!  

    Hopefully @Brigby will be giving us some preview of what's after Deadpool soon.

    I assume it's Nightcrawler's release, the start of a new season (so maybe some upgrades incoming), Rogue & 3* Gambit would enter packs, and so on. I'm not sure who leaves (is it Mordo ?)

    Riri Williams, I Believe. Then Mordo and Coulson next season assuming there is a second fourstar release Before then.

    But Rogue being along the featured characters for Shield Training? They better got rid of the level requirements, otherwise they're gonna need some umbrellas. Low flying feces inbound.

    @Brigby do you guys hate us?   And new release pve and pvp ending within 1 hour of each other again.  Why?  The article says Thick as Thieves which is a 4 day event, perfect.  Now this says  The Hunt which is a 3 day event. Why can my these be spilt up?  Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to understand why this happens all the time.

    Lmao, DocOc is yet again the 5* required when a new X-Man (and a highly requested one) is a placement reward. SMH. Guess I'll miss out again as I don't have him rostered. Oh well, NC will be in packs eventually. Still though at this point it's just funny, everyone was up in arms when that was announced for Rogue, and now again for Nightcrawler?! I'm not one of the "devs hate everyone" type of players/forumites, but this is just hilarious to me. Is no one there like: "hey guys, we did this last time and everyone flipped out, maybe not do it again?"
