    I felt a little weird purposely lowering my rank when I wanted the Magneto cover, but decided the Daken cover that will allow me to max cover him would be more useful. Now go finish getting the ones from the prologue, farm some iso and have my first maxed 2*.

    In current form they will let people who have the covers already keep them but not give them mag covers and people who get mags covers will just be kitty out of luck on getting extra falcon covers.

    WTH are you talking about? Falcon covers are a glitch! It's not unfair that you get cMagneto!
    Some in our alliance did receive Falcon and I'm glad for them. Other people need Magneto more and will get Magneto - glad for them. I don't need Magneto covers but it's convenient to hold onto red & purple (mine is 5-4-4) for a week in case he's funbalanced that soon.

    And I strongly do not think any "funbalancing" is happening anytime soon since IceX specifically said they put funbalance to the back of priority queue with alliance stuff and some other things moving up front...

    And? You personally were not supposed to get Falcon covers, so there's nothing unfair in the fact that other people glitch into them. If you so wish you can upgrade Falcon yourself.

    Well well well, got Falcon covers as well.
    I did look forward to a red Mags for respec purposes, but... I'll take those two Falcons icon_e_wink.gif

    I think of it as compensation for that nine day slog through The Hunt, I think everyone who made it through that deserves some extra Falcon covers!

    And you seriously think that it is FAIR that some people get falcon while others get 1500 ISO?

    Of course it is not unfair that people are getting classic magneto as those were the prizes that were advertised. However, it is unfair to gift falcon covers as it gives them an immediate competitive edge in the top gun tournament - especially if you're going for a decent place in season 1. Also, a lot of people have worked their butts off over the last 9 days to earn the falcon covers and to have some people have falcons that are twice as powerful because of a glitch is certainly unfair to those people.

    Just because a glitch allowed some people to get falcon covers doesn't make it any less unfair. The only real solution is to give everyone both. Which really isn't a problem for D3 cause they could do that if they wanted to. people are entitled to complain because the difference in reward is huge. Implying that it is trivial difference implies that you got the cover you wanted or you would prefer people not be treated equally.
    Also it totally devalues the work put into the pve which was decidedly more difficult than the doom pvp while giving some people a HUGE advantage for the new pvp

    I think you're overstating the advantage that people are getting: a 2/2/1 Falcon is barely better than a 1/1/1 Falcon: they're both dead weight once you get even a maxed 2* roster. D3 isn't going to give everyone both because they'd be crazy to give away precious new covers that people would otherwise buy. Likewise, they aren't going to take away the covers because it's way too much of a hassle.

    Same, placed first and got 2 Falcon covers.

    It's the old first place bug that they thought they had fixed.

    Thanks, Polarity, I guess I wouldn't get Falcon then anyway so even less stuff to fret about. Was aiming for top 25 to get 100 HP and not to shield (5th yellow Hood I'm coming!). 2 people in our alliance got 1st and Falcon covers.

    Well apparently only people that got first in their bracket got falcon instead of Mag. All people in my alliance report the same. It is not that unfair if this is the case.
