Well I got 1st and I got my extra falcon covers. The reason why a 2/2/1 falcon is an unfair competitive match is the additional HP and other bonuses from the level cap and the yellow skill that will be rebalanced to fixed increases rather than percentage.

In pvp, how many times have you gone for the team with the loaner featured hero vs the team with the levelled hero? My falcon is currently buffed to level 62 and while he does very little at the moment, my attack tiles for my 141 patch/punisher are buffed by 15%(this is significant in itself) as opposed to your 10% means that if there is a choice you will get attacked in preference to me.

Baah, I was busy today. I had planned to push to about 1350 but "things came up" as they would say.

Had I known about the extra falcon covers I may have made time lol. As it is I wasn't really trying to grab first. Just needed to keep a shield up for 8 -9 hrs...which I prefer go do with 3 3 hrs and a match in between than one expensive 24hr and 60-90 less points. The fact I actually passed you I did not expect to last since I wasn't playing the last 3 hrs or so.

Kinda surprised I pushed to 1150 without recur ing a single attack. Only got attacked after I shielded a few times. Wonder how easy it will be to go to 1100 for falcon. Do ppl even want him anymore.now that he has been changed and the new shine is gone?

Thanks to the rewards my CMags is now 522, so I'm rather happy that mrdogfather from Ace of Blades won my bracket

Falcon is nice, though I expect to see him more than CMags as rewards in the coming tourneys. So still plenty of possibilities to get his covers.

Fair enough, but you can't just quote what I said without proper context. Firstly you started off by saying that it's perfectly fair that people got rewarded with falcon covers. I'm just saying that it's not entirely fair for the reasons I have outlined - to which you rebut, it doesn't matter because the you don't think punisher is all that great, to which i'm saying it does matter to some people.

and also seriously, there's no difference to you guys (and gals) between 141/141/23 and 141/141/62? Because I have to admit, at least when i'm pushing at the high end of the point range, I do look at these sort of things to decide whether to attack someone or not.

ANNDDDDD... to get back on topic - I'd just like to give a shout out to soenottelling for making me burn an extra shield! Thanks buddy!

Who's quoting out of context now? I never said it's fair for some to get more Falcon covers. I said it's not unfair that others don't.

edit: I don't think, I know that the Punisher is great. My first maxed 141 and wishing to respec to 3-5-5 after Top Gun. But most people have the Punisher cover maxed already.

Why do people point to defense? Anything below max covers and probably level 100 is complete and utter garbage on defense.

Depending on the team makeup though the passives could increase your win speed, and thats the difference, the only difference. Which matters. I know I would have pushed for first, but over 1k was fine for me...guess not Now I have 1k extra iso...yay

Didn't even notice the falcons I got were from doctors orders until reading this, just assumed hunt wrapped first. I'll probably ticket though, wanted that blue mag <.<

Mentally I think I start to slightly care once the featured character hits ~level 90. Anything below that and he wouldn't make a difference.

If you actually got the extra falcon covers by placing first, then you probably have a high leveled roster (maxed 2*s or 3*s). If your roster is that good, then the difference between a level 2/2/1 buffed 62 falcon and a 1/1/1 level 30 Falcon in PvP is miniscule. No one you care about is going to not attack you because you have a level 62 Falcon that everyone knows is basically cannon fodder: it's all going to be on your other two characters.

Guys, it's not just about 1/1/1 or 2/2/1. That makes no significant difference in a match situation. But for those who are planning to max his covers for the PvP, it's a 2500hp difference. And that's significant. Can we discuss based on that context?

It's clear that the people who got the 2 extra falcon covers will be able to develop him more quickly and that can be considered unfair. However, I'm guessing that the advantages that these people get are marginal at best. Falcon isn't going to be a PvP powerhouse from what we've seen so I doubt that people who buy into a 141 falcon are going to have that much of an advantage over people without Falcon. I think that this is the most unfair during the second time top gun is rerun, where the lucky people can have either a 4/4/3 falcon or a 5/4/4 falcon instead of a 3/3/3 or 4/4/4 Falcon but besides that, I don't see it really impacting too much.

Oddly I kinda wanna build a second xforce for no apparent reason (only has a green atm, but should have 2 yellow and a red pretty soon) more than the last few iw covers I need lol. Maybe I am hoping it transform into a fury Jr. One can hope. I am out of hope for xforce at this point *streaming rainbow jellybean tears* and my iso stores are being reallocated for fury..who I will have maxed who knows when. Or for Fabio-deadpool if that's who the last character tease character is.

Side note to Demiurge: I expect the same style error in my favor for whatever event runs parallel to fury Jr. being released. 2 free nick fury covers plz! It's okay, I won't even send in the ticket to get the ragnarok covers I was suppose to get.

I got Falcon covers instad of Mags as well. Sent a ticket too, since I was looking forwatrd to my 5th blue for Mags and don't think I'll be using Falcon much outside of tournaments where he's obligatory.

They will probably just grant cmags to those who put in a ticket. When they gave first place 300ISO instead of 3k for the win a month ago, only the people who put in tickets got the extra ISO. I did not put in a ticket and was given nothing even though it would probably be easy to extrapolate the first from every bracket and send it out.
