    and to think I was actually monitoring the HPK alliance rankings to see when shield and 5DV were joining - Thought that everyone in shield had already joined a bracket and waited a whole day before joining!

    Seriously. I was hoping to get in an easy bracket that I could dominate but this doesn't sound fun at all. I'm just glad I have a big ISO bank (currently >200K) to buff people as needed if I have to.

    SHIELD training is a good way to farm Iso. Hint: don't be afraid to lose, since it'll spur the matchmaking algorithm to match you with weaker opponents.

    I'm almost positive that those points will not be transferred. Prologue : SHIELD Versus didn't have a "Season 1" banner on it.

    It's easy to forget about me especially since in about 80% of PVPs I'm the last S.H.I.E.L.D member to join a bracket.

    Off-topic, are you shielded in HPK Icarus?

    Haven't seen you once in this tourney (crazy mmr is crazy).

    I'm shielded for the moment but either way if you're only going up to 800 I won't hit you.

    (Puts on d3p cap and porn mustache) Come on..its a great deal playa..its only 7500 hp if you shield each day but look what you save...nearly 100% since cost of 4 heroic packs are about 15,200 hp. And you get to see your name in lights at the top.

    I actually feel sorry for them, they might have thought it a good idea to grab max progression rewards early but you need tons of 2800 points players for that.
    Or plain being misguided and thinking '23 hours' instead of '23 days'.
    As for the people with maxed Spideys, GSBWs and others, I have NO idea what they are trying to achieve.

    As a byproduct of them shielding at least every successful defense will inject pure undiluted points into the pool. Not that any good rewards will be obtainable but one can dream.

    FlatAffect from wrecking crue is in both my main bracket and simulator. He has 1874 in simulator and 3831 overall. Strange roster. 3 141s -- Spidey, Hulk, and Punisher -- and only one 2* over level 34 (an 85 Astonishing Wolverine). He also has a level 76 3/1/4 X-Force.


    Edited because I realized simulator is unbracketed.

    Normally, I check to see if there are any dashes next to the top 2 alliances in the alliance leaderboards to avoid getting into an unfavourable brackets. I suspect rate the brackets were filling up were slowing down 40 hours into the tournament (when I joined)

    and off topic, I was shielded when you wrote that! TBH Beezer, I'd rather you attack me as you would any non forum goer - seeing how we're supposed to be "competing" in the same bracket (probably going to regret saying that icon_razz.gif). Indeed, I would have benefitted from having you queued in a normal and retaliation node seeing how high you eventually went. I did have you queued at the end but bracket drama meant I had to attack number 2 as he was nipping away at my slender lead.

    Whatever happened to the ability to see a tournament for a while after it's ended, as IceX mentioned in an upcoming update? He made it sound like it was coming with Season 1.

    I thought it unlikely no other forum members would be in that bracket. These brackets are big enough that there probably is no 'easy bracket'

    he was in my hollowpoint, not my season. He scored 1200+. Just so you know his score wasn't being buffed by playing the shield.

    Would be nice to see ppl's past scores when you check thier name on a season. 916 made me top 35 or so...no idea how many above me have shield training points jacking up thier score though. My goal is only top 50, top 25 if it looks vacant enough. If I get higher, great, but non-special packs don't get my man-loins frothy. Now if the packs were special packs that had a chance of early release Samuel l. Jackson? Count me in.
