Put your new C Mag to use in Magnetic Mayhem, up for grabs is Patch green. Also of note, the 600 point progression reward is OBW blue, great cover if yours isn't full yet (I'm looking at you, pbrown). For the more hardcore, the 1100 reward is C Mags blue, also extremely valuable if yours isn't full yet. And for the insane, the 1300 is IW blue, which is, well, worth decent ISO at least...

Putting in a plug for communication: Remember, if you have something coming up, let a Commander know (preferably PorkBelly) so we can tell the difference between quitting/burnout and real life events. We have solidly been finishing in top 100 range, which was our starting goal. We would like to stay there, as well as enjoy the camaraderie within the chat and in the forum. We can only achieve both if we all do our best to pull our weight in the events, and repeatedly low or zero scores without an explanation may well result in replacement. The preferred method of letting us know would be a short post here, so everyone knows what is happening, and if necessary, a PM to PorkBelly with any details you wish to share but not make public.

Just a heads up -

Unfortunately, we have 3 players unable to participate in the remainder of the PvE so it is unlikely we will make top 100 as it stands (we're bouncing from 110 to 140 from what I can see).

I can try and do temporary replacements for 2 of the 3 members that we have out and bring them back in after the close of the PvE.

However, that is a decent amount of shuffling and a bit of a hassle.

So my question to our members is whether we want to try and go that route or if we just want to shoot for our individual Storm covers on this one?

I had several issues lately that stopped me from playing. Both personal and game bug related.

I didn't have any issue getting kicked out and was allowed back in. IMO as long as I kept up with communication and play hard when I could I was let back in. Seems fair to me.

BTW this PVE event is the worst in a LONG time.

Yeah, this pve is awful. I have no problem with us using hired guns to hit top 100. Otherwise I'll just get the covers from pvp/saved HP...it's fine by me either way.

However! PorkBelly, don't let everybody pressure you into spending even more time on this dumpster fire of a pve. It's grindy and stupid enough already without having to do extra work recruiting people. Don't burn yourself out if it's too big of a pain.

I agree with entrailbucket... there is no point in burning yourself out over it. Plus with people getting hit with the update, it may slow down the leaderboards a lot from scaling out.

On the other hand, if the people we have that under 40k can push these last two days, then we might be alright. But I don't know what the chances are of that happening.

Ok, time to record our scores for the Cage Match PVP... Before I do, I would like to say very well done everyone. Although we came in 85th with 14455 points, we had over 200 points more than our last event and we came in 66th in that. The inflation is because of the end of the season and everyone is trying to get points. Regardless, you all did outstanding. We had 8 people over 900.

sorry couldn't really play much in the events this last week, finals week and then my phone died today when I was planning to make a push at the end of the patch event We still made it so not a huge deal but should be doing more in future events.

Season two is now a memory, and this time it is a good one. We finished 35th with 185222 points. Our season one finish was 112th with 186748 points, so slightly less points, way better placement. Again, we should focus on the placement, not the points in these, as the point totals fluctuate depending on how fierce the competition is. For our finish, this time we get the Nick Fury blue cover, 500 ISO, and 25 HP. Way better than the three Heroic tokens last time with the same ISO and HP. another thing to note, the shield simulator 3 stars stop at 2400 isntead of 3200 this time so they are realistic, now if they would improve main bracket progression rewards that would be nice

The first event of Season 3 is complete, another outstanding finish everyone! Unholy Outlaw exercised our Hood rewards, and apparently inspired the alliance. We finished 25th with 15751 points, a nice symmetrical total for the OCD in the crowd. We won Storm Mohawk black, 2000 ISO, and 100 HP for our efforts. Now, on to the individual standings:

Although early yet, as of this post we are sitting 9th in Season 3. It seems we are on track for a second Nick Fury cover. Don't forget to spend some time in Shield training, there is 75 HP in there for progression rewards if you make it to 1900, Punisher red at 2300 and Doom black at 2400, lower than last season. The next event is Category-5, featuring Storm Mohawk in all her slightly disappointing glory, where we can win a neutered Spidey.

Having said that, the reward structure is different. Previously the alliance reward brackets were 1-2 for cover, 2000 ISO, 250 HP, 3-50 for cover, 2000 ISO, 100 HP, and 51-100 for cover, 2000 ISO, and 50 HP. New structure increases rewards and introduces new alliance brackets. 1-2 for cover, 5000 ISO, and 250 HP, 3-10 for cover, 5000 ISO, and 100 HP, 11-25 for cover, 3000 ISO, and 100 HP, 26-50 for cover, 2000 ISO, and 100 HP, and 51-100 for cover, 1000 ISO, and 50 HP. So top 100 drops by 1000 ISO, top 50 stays the same, top 25 increases by 1000 ISO, top 10 by 3000 ISO, and top 2 by 3000 ISO. End result, if we keep finishing top 50 we see no change, we lose a little ISO if top 100, and gain a little for top 25.

Individual also changed for this event. First, the new Storm is the 1100 progression reward, so if you are missing her green, here is your chance. The other big change is top 5 get all three covers now, top 25 get two, top 100 get one.

Our Season 3 rank is now at 18. Starting to slip just a bit, and looking at the individual ranks I see one reason why. Using myself as an example, I've been finishing well in the events, but am ranked 8th in the alliance. I have only racked up 206 points in the Shield simulator so far. As I said before, there are some great progression rewards in the Shield, oh wait, nope, but there is 75 HP waiting, as well as boosting the season score where there actually are a few decent progression rewards.

Next up is the Webslinger event, in which I will lament every round I can't stun lock the opposing team. Rewards will be the Human Torch, indicating there is a HT event on the horizon, so take stock and prepare your tinder for the fire!

I'd like to remind everyone the PVE is still rolling, as of this writing there is a set of subs open, and it appears there will be one more set before the end. We still have members lacking IM40 covers, some are lacking entire colors, so even if you have no interest in his covers, try to rack up some points for the alliance to help the others out. We are currently ranked 88, but have been fluctuating above and below the 100 mark for the past few days. If nothing else, it is a good source of ISO to use leveling your roster.
